Zaine bowed to her, "Would you like me to assemble a team as well? Or should I go alone, and would you provide the location he was if you know it? I will head out as soon as possible." he said solemnly, worried about his friend but trying to hide it.

A nameless shinigami strode quickly past the Captain-Commander's office, only pausing long enough to stoop down and slide a sealed letter under the door. Then, just as quickly as he came, the man was gone, leaving the letter to be read whenever Evil found it.

"To Whom It May Concern,
My name is irrevelent, the reason for this letter is just as unimportant. You must listen to what I have to say for it means Life or Death for my son. Deep in the Northern Rukon District, there is a small shack in the center of a grove of dead Cherry Blossom trees. By now the lock has deactivated and you will be able to enter.Once inside, move the rug back and you will find a trap door, open it and descend the stairs. In the passage way there are several barriers, both physical and Kido-based, though most of them will have dissolved themselves by now, the two strongest will remain. You, being the Commander-general, will be able to bypass them with two tests and save my son. Please hurry, he will be of much help outside of the cage I imprisoned him in than inside it.

Cresan's entire body ached with excitement. He was finally returning to his old squad after months of traveling and living in Rukongai. He felt bad that he had to leave unannounced, but he couldn't handle goodbyes. He wasn't even sure if he would come back, but it was only a day ago that he felt that he should return.

He tried to be sneaky when walking past the squad's barracks and training grounds. Thankfully few people were even looking for a former seated officer who had disappeared one day.

He knocked on Captain Evil's office door, hoping she would remember him and let him come back to the squad. He prepared for every reaction he thought she'd have while he waited for her to let him in.

Captain Evil! I'm glad to see you, too! Cresan smiled at his Captain, and hugged her back.

How've you been? The squad looks like it's survived while I was gone. He grinned.

It was then that he noticed that his reiatsu was flaring more than he'd like it to so he gathered it together and calmed it down. His stomach was doing backflips in excitement.

His face dimmed a bit. But... It feels weird to be back in the Sereitei, for some reason, beyond my being gone for so long... Did something big happen while I was gone?

Captain Commander? That's amazing! And you're a married woman now! That's even more amazing! I can't believe I missed so much!

He sat down, and his face saddened a bit.

Well. Not much has happened to me. Except... My shikai's not settling as I thought it would. I thought by communcating with my zanpakuto we could figure something out. I mean, he is Set the Egyptian God of Chaos and Storms. Yeah, it's surprising to me too. Isis sealed him in my zanpakuto when I first created him, and I didn't notice. I didn't know any of this until I went on my soul-searching journey. He gave me a false name, and so gave me false powers. And now... He won't release for me. He's indecisive and stubborn because he doesn't want to be my "servant". That's what he calls himself. But I don't really see him that way.

He put his head in his hands. I don't know what to do.

He took his head out of his hands and paced a bit. Oh gods, I put a real damper on our reunion, didn't I?

((That's fine. I figured you had a good reason for not being on. smile ))

Beating him into submission... Do you mean like what you do for bankai?

He looked hard at his hilt. Could he defeat a God? It's not impossible. He felt a pulse thunder through his body. Set wanted to talk.

He let the pulse reach his head, as he had practiced. I'm curious of how this could turn out, child. Isis may think you can do it, but I don't. Good luck taming chaos.

He looked up and linked eyes with Captain Evil. Ok. So how do we do this?

After sitting on the ground for several minutes Areku finally managed to stand back up. Slowly and still shaking he got to his feet, using his zanpaktou as a make shift cane. "I need to find some place to go." Areku thought to himself. He began to slowly meander towards a bar that he had passed on his way here, deciding to come see his new captain after he had gotten some rest.
