"I'm sorry Aine..." Ezru said as what she made finally kicked in "This..." Ezru said as the blood flow slowed to a trickled "This is amazing... Thank you love..." Ezru said sitting down next to Aine, and ripping his rags to make a patch to catch the rest of the blood, and finish slowing the flow, he also leaned in to hug her around the waist, and he kissed her gently as well.

"It alway takes a moment to work." Aine admitted, brushing Ezru's bangs out of his good eye. She smiled then, simply happy that her little concoction had helped. Even with his arms around her, her back remained ram rod straight, unwilling to fully relax.

"Relax... I've got one thing that no one will really try to break..." Ezru said as he pulled out the watch. "I can move him in less time then it takes me to move... And it's focused on Asuma... So relax Aine, it's safe..." Ezru whispered in her ear, pulling her closer "And besides... there are people everywhere. Sojiro I know can do some serious damage, and other captains and Adjutants are on call incase something happens with a Zaigou spirit..." Ezru whispered again, trying to have her relax.

Shuttering she let herself sink into Ezru's arms, calmed by the knowledge he'd just shared with her. "I'm sorry, I...I haven't lost all of my conditioning from living on my own." Aine spoke under her breath, leaning into Ezru. "Its always kept me from harm..." She let one of her arms curl around his waist, burying her face in his side, ignoring everyone else around them. If she hadn't she'd have run from the area, slight agoraphobia spurring her on. She let her eyes close taking solace at the fact she was in the arms of her love.

Ezru held her closer, as he sealed Real again, and put him away. "I know... It's hard for many of us." Ezru said in a comforting voice "Aine, I'm going to protect you as best I can. I swear upon the life of the Forest and on my own." Ezru said kissing her on the top of her head and running his other hand, the one that previously held Real through her hair "And we will have a home soon... Not a room."

Ezru's hand running through the short hair at the back of her head was heavenly, his dull nails messaging her scalp as he did so. Her lips twitched against his side, pulling into a soft smile. "I'm not used to this...Being protected now is...strange." Aine's voice came out muffled, her other arm now wrapping around her middle. A minute later she moved her head from his side turning her eyes upwards, cheeks coloring instantly, realizing how many people could see her at the moment.

"I'm not one for caring what people care of us." Ezru said smiling as he looked at this wonderful woman he held now. "I would only care if it weren't you I had with me... I wouldn't be happy any other way." Ezru said as he kissed her lightly, his mouth lingering near hers as he mouthed four words; I love you Aine.

Even if she couldn't see Ezru mouth the words, she could feel it ghost over her lips. Ecstatic, Aine threw her arms around his neck in absolute bliss, never expecting those words from anyone. Her hands pulled him closer, holding the back of his head and accidentally dislodging the bandanna he wore over his tied hair. Her mouth positioned near his ear she let a sigh carry her message, "And I you." She stayed there enjoying the gentleness of the moment, her mind enraptured.

Sighing, Asuma turned, not wanting to see their little...moment...he had never liked those little moments, and he didn't think he'd start anytime soon. Reaching up to his right eye, Asuma pulled off the eye patch that he had become so accustomed to. Instead of the Zaigou mark burned around and through his right eye, there was...nothing. No mark, no burning sensation. It was gone. Opening his right eye, Asuma was glad that now he had the freedom to go where he wanted without being gawked at for having that patch over his eye. Looking back for a second, Asuma shook his head, waving over his shoulder. "I'll leave you two alone together, then. Call me when you're ready." Walking forward, Asuma stopped for a second, after feeling a sharp pain in his side. Not wanting to look right now and have to see their...moment...Asuma used a shunpo to appear in a different part of the Grounds, leaning against a tree while sitting down.
No one knows...no one understands...feared again...but I guess I'm used to it...I'm used to being alone...used to not being trusted...but I thought it would be different....
Guess I was wrong.
Opening up his jacket and pulling up his shirt, Asuma saw that there was a wound left on his back-the same wound he had been inflicted in his zanpaktou's world. "Dammit...I thought that was healed." Growling as another sharp pain wracked through him, Asuma put his right hand above the wound. Gathering his reiatsu into a ball, Asuma pushed it into the wound, sealing it over with a thin layer of metal, as well as injecting his reiatsu into his cells. Since he could replicate at a cellular level, the reiatsu could be used as a catalyst for his cells to replicate, but it would still be a while before it fully healed. The metal layer was so that it could heal without bleeding too much. Sitting there for a moment, Asuma sighed, looking in front of him. "I guess...this is where it begins, eh? A rocky start...to say the least."
And yet, it is the same. Why is it that I'm always feared because of that mark...for what was done to me. If I would have known this would have come from that day...then I never would have done it. I feel as alone as ever...and now I won't have anyone...
His look downcast, Asuma moved his right hand, as the ball and chain came down from where he had put it. I've got Kuro...and Zetsumi...but who else? Even my own family...Tansen...even he didn't want anything to do with me. Then I guess...I'll return the favor. I've been shunned...feared...it's about time I gave them a reason to. And they'll learn what they've done to me...

Ezru stood up and hugged Aine some more. "Aine, I'll be back... I need to converse with Asuma." Ezru said as he ran faster then the eye could follow to where he felt Asuma was.
"Asuma, you know I only said that to comfort Aine..." Ezru said in front of his friend and comrade "She still doesn't trust many... But I'm starting to change that. I've also received the response we've been waiting for... Do you wish to go now?" Ezru asked

Looking up, Asuma's eyes were cold...uncaring. "What you said...it's not what you yourself said that has affected me...it opened my eyes. I'm too caring...and too naive. I've been trying to ignore what's happened to me...but I can't anymore." Closing his eyes, Asuma ran his right hand through his hair, the ball and chain gone from sight. Opening his eyes, his look was still cold, yet it held a slight look of pain in it. You've shown me what I've been trying to hide for years. Pushing himself to his feet, Asuma put his hands in his pockets, pushing his sunglasses higher on his nose, again hiding part of his eyes. "And yes...I'm ready to talk to him. It's time I leave this place of painful memories...this...cage."

"Then lets go back to Aine..." Ezru said "I think that we are all ready. We'll leave from my office, so meet me there... We have clothes for all of us there... Yours are essentially the same though... I don't know what you would want to wear..." Ezru said "I also have a few things that I am bringing with me, and I must destroy something... My own door to home. So I will see you soon my friend." Ezru said flashing a smile as he ran off again, leaving a trail of dust behind him back to Aine.
"Aine," Ezru said as he appeared next to her "We're going to be leaving soon... Are you ready to leave this containment field behind?"

Turning around, Asuma closed his eyes, as he disappeared from sight. First...he would need to go to his office. And then...he would meet with Aine and Erzu. But first...he had unfinished business.

"More than you could believe." She said from her spot on the ground. Standing, Aine brushed off the dirt that had settle on her, placing her hands on her hips. Leaning forward, "Well, let's go."

Ezu smiled as he said with a nonchalant voice "If you're so eager, I guess you could carry me.... I was going to offer to carry you to the next destination..." Ezru said with a grin.
