Big O, wow I remember tat when Toonami still existed. I still can't believe that M. Night Shyamalon is doing "The Last Airbender". I don't have high hopes for the movie, but I might go see it for the inevitable twist.

The ending of Big O is horrible though and the monster of the week theme was getting really annoying.
I've seen the recent CGI Turtles movie and it's quite good, not perfect but still pretty good.
I've also found Memories but sadly it has Spanish subs so I can't understand what they're on about sadly.

The Last Airbender won't have a twist ending. The story is already out there, nothing to twist. In fact after M. Night's first couple of movies he stopped doing twist endings and people would say the ending sucked because the twist was stupid. Even though it wasn't supposed to be a twist. People just expected him to do the same thing over and over again. You get the fans that want him to continue the way he was and criticize him for changing and the people who criticize the way he was even though he's trying to change. The sad part about the filmmaking industry is that you are only judged by your last work.
I'm a big fan of the Avatar cartoon and while I don't think he was the best choice I'll still be in line to see it. They can't make a direct storyline conversion from show to movie and I understand they will cut stuff out. I just hope it has the same feel to it.

Kevin Smith was in that Turltes movie and it suprised me as for the last air bender from the interviews I've seen the reason he's doing it is for his children... whats with directors and involving them into the filming industry? Lucas did that and it gave us Jar Jar. I rest my case. as well the only movie of M. Night's I have seen is the Village and it made me want to high five Uwe * shudder *

Necron_Pariah Big O is truly one of the rare, dare I say, Perfect anime's. I recommend: Cowboy BeBop Last Exile Code Geass (Mind you, there's a lot of crazy irrelevant s**t at times. The main story TOTALLY makes up for it.)

I don't know if it's been discussed or not, but I can't wait to see the movie "9" If you don't know what it is, watch the trailers: trailer 1Trailer 2Two fun facts; 1) Newest Tim Burton film 2)First CG movie with a PG-13 rating

Just one correction though, it's not a Tim Burton film. The directors name is Shane Acker. Tim Burton is only one of the eight credited producers, meaning he watched the short film and liked it enough to want to put up some of the money so it could be made into a feature. He wasn't involved with production in almost any way.
