By the Nine Hells! Mordranna thought with a startled gasp, as the horror in her expression matched Neb's. Conflicting emotions overcame her as she watched the video. "I remember before I got promoted, and became what kids everywhere call the 'Sapphire Valkyrie', I was put on firing squad duty," she blankly said, not sure what to say. "I can't say that it was a job that I particularly relished," she sighed. "But, orders are orders,"
Yeah, like that is going to make him feel better! Don't you even feel any remorse for it?!
Well, of course I do! Mordranna screamed inwardly to herself. But, what do you expect me to say? "Here, I'm sorry I killed your parents. Have a flower."?
Ha ha! So, the "Sapphire Valkyrie", adored by children everywhere, is nothing but a cold blooded murderer!
Mordranna buried her face in her hands, unable to look at Neb. His parents. I killed his parents ... he did so much for me, and this is what he gets!
(( This was a doozie to write up! Mordranna's sure beating the crap out o' herself, eh? ))

Ganil led his troops, at a run, to the walls of the city. He put his hand up to his comm ear piece to activate it. "Artillery, you know what to do." Almost before he finished his sentence there were loud banging sounds as the artillery fired at the various gates around the city. One by one the bangings stopped as the artillery finished its job. " " "Good job, now let's get this wheel rolling!" He turned to the troop sect closest to him. "You guys, follow me!" They complied, and Ganil ran into the city. The rest of the army was already pouring into the city. Then he noticed Federation forces coming to meet the army. They kept running and stopped as several Droidekas came rolling toward them. "Get ready men!" They got closer, and closer, and then he activated his lightsaber and ran up to one of them, and thrust his blade into its middle before it could open itself. The others were distracted slightly at the sudden loss of one of their own and tried to turn around to find the perpetrator, but then decided to go their ordered path, but by then they were already up against the sect, and the troops started firing. One by one the Destroyer Droids died, for want of better word, and the one that managed to open up was pelted immediately with laser bolts as it did so. " " Ganil grinned. "Great, transmitting coordinates now." He turned to the troops. "Alright, you guys head off on your own, the Spec Ops group is coming in and I'm going to meet them." They saluted in union. "Sir yes Sir!" Then they ran deeper into the city. No sooner had they gone a rumbling sound filled the air. Ganil looked up to find a transport landing beside him. When it landed, a group of Special Operatioins troops marched out, single-file. They lined up in front of Ganil and saluted. "Reporting for duty, Sir!"

Imperius, Dark Lord of the Sith, awoke to findhimself strapped to a medtable, an MD droid looming overhead.
"Whatever. Get me off this thing."
The droid complied.
Imperius turned and saw Valycia standing next to the table.
"Don't worry about me. We're going to Byss."

Neb's mind raced, as thousands of thoughts whirred through his mind. But something was amiss, to a normal person's train of thought. Neb wasn't angry, or sad. He was.... at peace. He put an arm around Mordranna, and smiled.
"You know, most people would be ticked off, or greatly grieved. While I cannot say I'm immune to these emotions..." he trailed off, looking at the still of blood flowing from the head of the bodies, "Its been so long since then, I can't be mad. And its a shock, but I can't be sad either. You see, you're much older than you should be if it was directly after their capture. I guess they were in prison for years, being beaten, being tortured, and lost. But I find solice in this. Not only for myself, but for them. See... I no longer have to worry about finding them. I know where they are. And it brings me comfort that at least you put them out of their misery. Understand, my duckie? Good can be found in every shadow of evil. And there's always redemption, my duckie."
Neb breathed hard, signs of a stoic at work.
"Come, I think we've reached the headquarters. That, and according to Gunny, we're off to Vergresso Spaceport, where the last known location of the shard was, that is, if you want to come."

Angel was relieved when she saw the Dark Lord coming to. " Thank goodness, I was afraid I'd lose him. " she thought, composing herself so he wouldn't see her tears. When he told not to worry, she said, " I won't, but just don't strain yourself too much so soon. Byss huh? Well, before we go, I have something you might wanna see. " She pulled out the holocron Neb gave her. " I have no idea what's in this, or if it'd even be of use, but there's only one way to find out, isn't there? "

" I ran into an old friend of ours, Neb. I was lucky enough to manage to take it from him by pretending to go along with his talking about redemption and it not being too late for me to stop and all that. He let down his guard when he thought I was really starting to believe him, and I made a lucky swing really quick which knocked it from his person, and I caught it before he could. Something must've happened elsewhere because he broke off from chasing me, so I managed to get to the library without him following me, and I found what I thought to be another holocron, but it was a fake, and when I reached for it, I was knocked out by some powerful Force blast from it. That's probably why it seemed like I vanished. " Angel said. She knew the truth would raise more questions that she wouldn't be able to answer, and she didn't want the Dark Lord to start doubting her if he knew she was in the company of Jedi. " Anyways, we should probably look at this thing. It may help us find what we're looking for. "

Mordranna simply blushed, and hugged Neb as he put his arm around her. "You are indeed wise, Neb. And, you're right," she sheepishly said to him. She even managed a slight giggle as he adressed her as "duckie". Regaining a professional tone, she inquired "Vergresso Spaceport, you say?" she asked, with just the right combination of professionalism and curiosity.
And, with that, Mordranna told Neb, "You are a true embodiment of the Jedi. There is no emotion; there is peace. There is no ignorance; there is knowledge. There is no passion; there is serenity. There is no chaos; there is harmony. There is no death; there is only the force,"

Drako's mind realed. His thoughts unclear. And most of all...his resolve. He didnt know what he was fighting for. He had one goal. He still had not met it. He sat meditating in a small dark room away from any one.

Drako got up and his saber went into his hand. Many droids stood around him and could be seen as his red saber activated. Drako pulled the saber up and they attacked. There vibro blades clashing with his saber and the lights light up the room in blinks and flashes. Drako cut down one and the others took a step back. Drako didnt stop his attack.

Drako had cut them all down. He stood breathing hard and heavy.
" .....My chains are broken. The force SHALL set me free. " The saber went cold and Drako was lost into the dark.
