John looked at Noko "You're right I was kinda disappointed when all that happened cause of a stupid bug, but I've got to ask you something that I've been meanig to ask you for a while now. John pulled out a small case from his pocket and opend it up, to reveal a dimond ring. Kneeling down on one knee he looked up at her. "I know you said you wanted to be my girlfriend but I was thinking something alittle more permanent. So, Noko. Will you marry me?

She stared at him for a moment not sure what to do or say. Before nodding her head. She watched as he slipped the ring on and she kissed him for the longest time. Then she reached up and felt his forhead." You sure your feeling ok?" She teased.

With that, Skarlet turned and strode out of the room, leaving the dumb-founded and slightly angered girl alone in the kitchen. The second she was out of sight, Skarlet made an all-out run for the exit. Her emotions were rising to the surface... she had to meditate before she hurt someone, or rather, they hurt themselves.

Kim and Jacen took the scenic route through the mansion, passing by alot of the other students who still were banged up a bit. Jacen greeted everyone cordially, while they seemed a bit put off that he was around so soon after the Apocalypse ordeal. Understandable as it was, it made Jacen feel a bit down. Would he be able to live down his unwanted noteriety?
"Relax, sweetie," Kim said gently nudging his arm. Jacen did, of course. And they kept on their way. After a few moments of meandering, they were both at the Professor's study, knocking for entry which they promptly recieved.
"Hello Kim. Right on time today. Quite the change of pace," Xavier said with a wry smile. "And Jacen...what can I do for you?"
"Sir, it's about my parents," replied Jacen, "I've....recieved assistance in retrieving their lost funds, and I was going to go pick it up for them."
"That's fine, just be careful out there." Xavier turned his attentions to Kim as she sat down and Jacen bid her farewell. So, he quietly slipped through the halls by himself, taking the occasional glace out the window. The season was nearly shifting from summer to fall. He had been gone for the majority of the summer, and things seemed to just be different. Either way to him, he managed to make his way to the garage rather easily and procure the use of the silver Mustang he had been driving pretty much since he started to stay at the Institute. Without any effort, he slipped into the seat, and put the key into the ignition, and almost like a second nature, he was out of the garage, and heading towards the road.
When he pulled the car around towards the front, he saw an assemblement of mostly young ladies. "Probably a shopping expedition.....girls...." Pressing the accelerator down a bit, he 'sped' down the driveway, until the gates opened and he was heading into the city.

"Yes I'm fine, Neko" John said with a laughed. "I would've aske a while ago, but We had to go off to visit your folks, and then this happend. But that doesn't matter now. I'm just glad you said yes.: John said. "Alright, now usually this is the time where we'd go and prepare for the wedding, but first I need to get my flamethrowers. I'm sure you'd agree with me if I said, it's a good thing that the groom is alive, when he gets married, and to do that, I need some protection. So let's go." It only to them about five minutes o go get John's flamethrowers and make it back to the hotel. After which, they went up to their room and close the door behind them. "Okay, I don't know about you, but I want this to be a private marriage. I don't need Pietro messing things up for me." John said as he set down his flamethrowers. "But what about you?" he said with a yawn. it was now 3:30am. "Do you want any body to be there with us?" he asked.

Noko thought for a moment. " I want my grandfather to be there. Maybe ...no .." she thought for a moment and sat down. The last thing they needed was this to be over the brotherhood at the moment. Things had to get back to normal before they announced this union.

OOC: Scarlet, I don't knwo if you want to be caught or not so I won't go that far with this. You cant' sneak by Phenix that easily. smile

While Phenix was talking to Esper, she was distracted by an unfamiliar energy rounding a corner and going down the hallway. She hadn't let it bother her really since the new kids were coming in before the beginning of the school year, but there was something about it. Something... emotional in a way. She didn't know how she could feel such a thing about somebody's energy since energy had no emotions... but still, it carried such a feeling.
Kylia noticed Phenix's destraction as she was agreeing on going with Phenix [OOC: Taking a creative liberty] "Phenix? What's wrong?"
Phenix shrugged and looked down the hall. Whoever it was, she missed them, "Somebody I don't recognize. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Come on, we have to go out to the main foyer anyway."
Kylia and Phenix headed towards the main entrance and past the kitchen... the kitchen... The girl had been there. But now there was somebody else. Somebody else she knew and wasn't really expected to be here.
"Regina? What the hell you doing here?" Phenix smiled.

ooc: gods I'm so tired... I wish I didn't have to work today. *sigh* And I have to go by the post office before work too...

Regina blinked after the girl's exit. "What the hell...?" was all she could say as the girl left. Well that's a new interpretation on what I was trying to do. I thought I was just trying to comfort her... huh.
"Phenix?" she blinked again, really unsure of what to do now. "I.. er... well, I happened upon a new recruit for your school and... I'm kinda curious on it myself. The brotherhood people are nuts except for a select few and I can't deal with everyone hating everyone else. So... here I am."
She wondered where TNL had gotten to, and hoped he was alright.

Phenix nodded in understanding, "Well we all have our own bones to pick at times, but I like it here. I think you will too. Who's this new recruit you came along with?"
