Arch watched a bit of the fight, realising he wasn't in any shape to join in. He climbed down the side of the bus, landing on the ground and taking off away from them. He still needed to get to Ora, injuries or not. When he was a goodly distance away, he bit the bullet and folded his wings in, doing all he could to not scream as his broken wing was twisted back and forth. It would heal faster there, but it certaintly wasn't going to be pleasant.

The thrown blade struck the Dark Aura, and dropped to the ground, it's kinetic energy absorbed. Laurel threw her grenade at the ground between her and Forte, and it burst in a large cloud of smoke. Under the cover of the smoke, she jumped down from the bus and drew Life Stealer.

As Forte walked forward a darkness surrounded him, he fell over unconscious in his safe little bubble....like a giant hamster on lortab.
