Brooke nodded to Rellick resolutely.
'Come on, then. Let's leave before any more tears are shed over our departure.' She felt as if a weight had anchored her to the ground. She didn't want to move, all of a sudden. But then, she raised a paw. She had to go. And then she swung into a trot after the new king

Ellidanio, Queen of Mystery and Mate of Rackna, watched her Crimson son slip away into the Lands... Headed toward his new home. As he drew farther and farther away, tears filled her eyes and spilled down her pale green cheeks.
Goodbye.... She thought... Turning to her mate and tucking her head under his chin, trying to hide her grief from her family and the rest of her Pride.
Aritania toddled back to her mother and settled between Elli's forepaws. She layed down, resting her head on her own paws, and surveyed her family with wide eyes.
'Why does he have to leave?' She puzzled. 'I don't understand.'

After awile, Areli rose, and looked at Rackna and his mate. "Your majesty..." she said again. "I too, would like to go with your son, to his new pride. In my eyes, I think that I could be of help to him... more than I can to anyone here." she said, quiet enough so she wasn't yelling, but loud enough to be heard.

((This is an announcement.. Seeing as Kami does not seem to be on very often as of late, and until she makes a full return, I shall be taking any and all responsibilities for this Pride. All requests to join should be PMed to ME, and I will forward them to Kami.. However, if you go straight to Kami, there is no telling when you will be able to join.
All questions on Pride Life can also go to me, and Rping stuff can be directed to Ellidanio, she is Queen, and she can handle it.
That said, I am going to PM Kami of this decision.. And hopefully I will get a reply saying this is an acceptable course of action.

Ellidanio nosed her mate and stepped up, taking on the responsibilities. She nosed Kish'ya, and smiled kindly.
"Kish'ya.. You had a question?" She smiled, then glanced at Areli. "And then I shall answer yours."
Aritania stood and shuffled to Deka, prodding him as she went to Jadera's side. She smiled as her mother spoke with dignity and kindness, and nodded to her queen.
Jadera eyed her mother and turned to her siblings, nosing them away. "Let's go play over here..."

Tay lay in the shade of a small shrub, watching the rest of the Pride. There was peace and contentment here. She liked it. The little purple and teal cub didn't have any friends, but she felt a presence to the north of the Pride and to the south that she knew she could be friends with. If only she was an adventurer.

Aritania slunk away from her protective older sister the moment she had the chance.. And trotted away with a smirk. As she moved through the lands she noted a lion laying not far away, and realised they hadn't met.
"Hi!" She beamed as she trotted up. "I'm Aritania.. You can call me Tani.. What's your name?"

Tay lifted her head to look at the younger lioness. "Tay-yibah. You may call me Tay, daughter of Ellidanio." She yawned and ran a foreleg over her ears. "By the way...the next time you hear the Dark Song, stay away from any rocks."

Aritania would have blushed had her coat been any other color than scarlet, so she merely hung her head.
"Thanks for the advice." She whispered, then grinned. "Nice to meet you Tay! You knew who my mom was?"
She eyed the strange markings. "Do you have magic?"

"No." Tay chuckled. "I watched you." Teal eyes watched the little cub then flickered over the other members, looking for her sister and adoptive-mother. When she didn't find them her gaze went back to Aritania.

"Oh." Aritania murmured and giggled. "Sorry.. But Jade told me a story about magic.. And now I just want to meet someone who has it.. "
She made a 'silly me' face and stretched.
"So... Do you not often get into the middle of the Pride? I guess it seems more practical to stay out of the crush of everyone..."

Glancing away from Kish'ya, Ellidanio's eyes fell on Areli. She smiled at the impetuous teen.
"Go join Rellick at Scarlet Shadows.." Elli murmured. "I know it is where you long to go."
