Tohru Honda-san Pomp and Circumstance but I will NEVER have to EVER play it AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cause I'm a Senior, but that is sad too even though I hate that song SOOOOOOOOOOOO much. No! It repeats. Over. And. Over. And. Over. And. Over. The worst part is we always have small grads (like 100) and it still takes a billion repeats before they're all done and gone. GAH. Over. And. Over. Thankfully I don't think we're playing grad this year. biggrin

POMP AND CIRCUMSTANCE. I only had to play it once but it was EVIL. But I like songs with Oompas.. I don't play an oompah instrument but I played a Marching Euph when we did Xmas Carolling. I really liked it. But if that was all I'd play, I'd want to go on some kind of homicidal rampage.

Damn it all but there was this one piece of music that I HATED in jr. high.....and I can't seem to remember the name. Let me think a minute. Hmmm....oh my goodness it was Washington Post!
I that song with a mad passion. It hurt my lips uber badly and it was boring for oboe. Oh so boring. Of course it was, it's a march.
And Midway march. Ok, I hate marches. They are evil.
I was never fond of Cartoon Symphony either.
Now as a list of music I love? Well, that'd be pretty long. gonk

Any marches. I'm serious, I hate those things. Especially Footlifter, forgot who it was by. I played it my freshman year, hated it so much. -_-"

Chanukah!!!! We had a Chanukah piece and my part was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo annoying!!! Gah!!!! Worst piece I've ever had to play!
*grabs music folder and wrips out piece*
*grabs lighter and lights the piece while laughing evily*

William Owen's Country Day Dances should burn in hell. after i rip it up and smash it into leetle teeny peeces.
I have 73 measures of rest in a row and 46 others in another row after i play for one measure. which i could usually stand but not this time because i don't play much in the other piece either.
hopefully the march that we play for festival has more misc. percussion.

I agree with littlebumblebee about Maleguena! I played that at the CMEA conference. That piece rocked my socks off! The song I ABSOLUTELY HATE has go to be Disney at the Movies. You would think that Disney tunes would be fun to play right? NOT WHEN IT'S 4 PAGES LONG! Half of the songs don't even sound right. I was all kinda of excited about "Under the Sea" . . . until they killed it. crying
