Ari's angry face melted when he heard the other's stomach. He had just eaten, right? That made the neko's mood a bit better. Sitting down and sighing heavily, Ari looked at Chase. There was a question about the lock. Having feline ears and great senses, the neko would know. He shook his head and looked back at the door, tilting his head slightly at it. Strange why Nikon had not locked it. Was he so over-confident that he did not think they could attack him and escape? They were two, and he was one. Ari may not have known how to speak very well, but he knew how to stratigize(sp) when he needed to. Now was a perfect time. The only thing was, they were both rather tired, Chase was hurt, his head still throbbed, and they had no idea what else there was to eat besides the fruit, and that did not last long. With all that impeding their ability to escape and be free, it made the neko upset again. He sat there, thinking and planning. There had to be a way out without hurting themselves in the process. Ari looked at Chase and frowned. "No food, no energy, no escape," he said quietly.

Chase nodded amiably. "But there's food where those bad hats were. . . I smelt it. In the box thing that looked like that," He guestured to the minifridge. " 'Cept bigger." He struggled to his feet, his fingers graing over Ari's lovely sandy coloured car ears whether by accident or on purpose, both he and the world would never know. He looked from his fingers to the neko then back before looking slightly disgusted, but he sighed good naturedly anyhow. Shifting his weight quickly from foot to foot, he shrugged. "We get food, break open some window and go. Energy, and escape!" He was co-operating now. It reminded him of working together with his family to get a wildabeast or a zebra down and kill it. Or gathering fruit with the monkeys. Fun and constructiv. Almost like the old times. . .

"Food where weird hats were?" Ari mumbled. He had smelt something similar to food, but he was unsure if it was actually food or not. Did things that came in hats and strange containers really food? The neko's ears twitched as he looked up at the other. He had touched his ears. Ari tilted his head to the side and shrugged. Confusing, but it was nothing he had to worry about. The neko walked over to the minifridge and opened it up. If they were able to open some of the things in there, like the cans, then they would be able to eat whatever was in each can. That could come in handy. If only they had something to work with. Ari looked over the room, searching through a few drawers that were there. He found a few strange objects that he could not recognize. For someone being raised around humans and their strange objects and habits, Ari was at a loss. He had no idea what he was holding, but he would have to see if it would work. It had four spiked things on it, had a handle, and was silver colored. Ari poked at the can with the fork and looked at Chase. "Food for energy and then escape!" he said.

Chase swallowed hard, trying to rid his throat of the drying feeling there. His heart was beating a bit faster, but he didn't know why. It was strange, and he didn't like strange. He liked to know what was happening! But, back on track. . . Chase shook his head and blinked, looking over at Ari from his daze. His expression crumpled when Ari went over to the minifridge then retrieved something and a tin. He rolled his eyes. "Better food," He drawled, pointing at the door. "Out there." He watched Ari for the neko's recognition, then padded over to the door on the balls of his feet and slowly twisted the handle. It didn't make a sound, so Chase sharply pushed it, causing the door to slam violently in its frame. The boy froze, abashed, then his eyes swept to the sides. "Oh boy. . . "

Ari made a face. He knew better food must have been out in the wild, but would it really be that easy to get out? After all, Nikon was out there. Though, he really did nothing to stop them. The neko's ears twitched a few times quickly as he listened to the other. He stalked over to Chase and peeked his head out and saw Nikon looking toward them. The human got up and walked over to them. "What are you two doing?" he asked in monotone. Ari's tail flared, and he stepped behind Chase. Confused, Nikon grumbled. "You're trying to escape again, aren't you?" He knew that they were. He would let them go, but he was sure the slavery people who worked in the different shops would catch the slaves. There was no way he wanted them back in another cage, though the room he gave them was nothing more than a large cage. He sighed and stepped to the side. If they were to escape, he only hoped that they would not brake anymore of his stuff, that had put him in a bad mood, but that was when he realized that they were just playing. The human was just a confused person. Ari tilted his head to the side, sensing the human's doubt. He tugged at Chase's arm gently and twitched his ears.

Chase held his breath, then growl as Ari hid behind him and Nikon appeared in the doorway. He sighed sharply and resentfully, but the human didn't force them back into the room. He simply looked at them, then mumbled something about them trying to escae again. Chase's eyes narowed then he sidestepped the human when he just stood aside. Eyeing him as he inched out into the hall, the boy nodded at the neko then half rushed cautiously to the kitchen. He wasn't about to play with the strange hats now! No sir-ee! He was going to find that food! And Ari's nose was going to help!

Ari followed behind the other, keeping his eyes lowered to the ground. He did not want to catch Nikon's eyes at all, no matter what was happening. He sniffed the air. It was a lot different than the first time they were out there. Had he smelt it before they left the room? It seemed like it. Perhaps Nikon was making something. Sure enough, when the neko looked into the kitchen, he saw things on the stove. The human was making food. For himself? For all of them? Well, it did not matter. It was food, and it was in the open. Ari pointed to the food on the stove and mumbled something to Chase, telling him to be careful. It was a hot pan sitting there on the stove, the burners still tinted a slight red. "Hot food," he muttered and sniffed the air and sighed happily. The scent made his stomach rumble and his mouth water. He looked back at the human standing in the doorway of the kitchen.

Sekitan-chan The vampire nodded as she memorized the size of the slits and how far apart they should be. When they got to Sirica's room, aneres smiled as she walked over to sit next to the demon. She took the scissors and picked up one of the shirts, Aneres cut the slit quicker then Sirica probably could but slow enough that her hand didn;t seem to dissapear for a second. Aneres checked and made sure that the slits were how they were suppoesed to be. The vampire smiled. "This ones done, next." If Aneres had dog ears they would of twitched when she heard music playing softly down stairs, but of coarse she didn't have dog ears so she didn't show that she heard something different. She hoped Sirica could here it because she thought their master was very good at playing the piano. The vampire held the scissors up, the handle pointed towards the demon girl, to see if Sirica wanted to try. Sirica smiled and took the scissors. Laying out another shirt she sliced the neccessary slits and moved on to the next shirt. She looked up and smiled at Aneres, "Master Mordred is making that sound, yes?" Her sense of hearing was fairly keen and she could not recall hearing something so beautiful. She liked the way it sounded, but wasn't entirely certain as to what it was that made it. "What is it, Aneres? I don't know it." She asked as she cut another slit.

Aneres smiled back at Sirica as she nodded in comformation of what she had asked. "Yes he is, its very beautiful, isn't it?" She tilted her head as she thought about the girls secend question. "Do you mean what the melody is? If thats what you mean then I do not know. We could go down stairs and ask him." The vampire suggested as she watched Sirica cut another slit. "But he's playing the piano so we'd have to wait till he's done."

Mordred finished his song on the piano and then went to his book self and took down a book and began reading. He sat in one of his chairs. He read as he waited for the girls to finish with their work.

Sirica cut the last wing slit and grinned broadly, "Piano, that's a good word. Piiiiii-an-ooooo" She got up and changed her shirt, pushing her wings through expiramentally. A perfect fit. "Let's show Master Mordred!" She flapped her wings and headed out the door.

Aneres smiled at Sirica as she saud piano. "I guess so, never really thought of it though." She stood up and stretched slightly. "Sure." The vampire followed her out the door and went down the stairs. "Mordred stopped playing the piano..."

"Piiiiano, I'm sorry, I like that word though. I like this place, I've learned so much in one day!" Sirica chatted happily, glad to be somewhere totally lacking in cages. She stepped into the room her master was reading and called to him. "Look Master Mordred! They fit now!" She spun around and showed her wings, even flapped them gently to show him how well she and Aneres had done.

Mordred closed his book as Sirica called out to him to lake at her outfit. He smiled as she flapped her wings and seeing how well of a job they had done. He stood and walked over to her and patted her on the shoulder.
"Well, that looks great. I'm going to have to get you two to do some of my cloths sooner or later," Mordred said as he patted her on the shoulder and smiled down at her.

"Its fine and I like this place too." Aneres smiled as they entered the room that Mordred was in. The vampire watched as she showed off their handy work which was just slits but geting the size right is harder when you have to estimate if you got it right when you cut it. She listened to what Mordred was saying to Sirica. Aneres smiled. Her eyes trailed to Mordreds neck where she could easily see where the vain was.
