I'm sure I'll get the necklace someday. I'm definitely going to revert back to a gold/yellow avatar again soon.
I knew I wasn't going to be gone for long, I just needed a little break from Gaia. I hate it when you start getting attached to a game and then it makes you pay to play it. >.>
I'm not all that big on the color pink, myself, but I'm also a cat lover. I also can't afford a Kiki, so the slippers will have to do me. :]
I like going to threads that don't have so many limitations, because that just means I can go ahead and make a spectacular avatar that no one seems to expect. xD I always seem to be able to surprise people in some shape or form. ~
And, well, it was long and hard, but I think I came up with something. sweatdrop It's hard to come up with a TekTek that doesn't involve items you already have. xD
This was basically what I came up with when I tried to work with the bustier. It's not one of the challenges, but I thought it looked good.
I thought I'd be best at tackling the beanie, and hopefully I did a good job. There really isn't much that matches it.

Heheh, that's what I once thought. I forgot all about that necklace until I saw it when making that tektek. That's when I threw that brass color in. You can't say no to gold/yellow avatars. O:
Heheh, yeah, I don't know why I'm so addicted to this site. Yeah... the... oh I've forgotten my lingo. XD; The game was still in the alpha stages... so when it was done with beta testing, then it became a pay to play game. That sucked. I'd just finally gotten my second job and had the prettiest little white angel wings. <3 XD
And the slippers do very well. O:
Yeah~~ I used to like that. Then I got tired of people saying, "No i don't like that. i don't like the color green or blue or red." Well then say that in the first place. x.x; Now, if they're truly open to anything~ then that's fun. >3
XD I'm sure you can come up with surprises. ^^ I've been getting rather cliche as of late.
Heheh... I used to watch what ATers wore to see what basic items I needed to own. XD;; The red and gold one is very pretty. O: i definitely need that red bustier... I love the combo you did with the shirt items.
Heheh, I was hoping you'd go for that one since I thought you'd be the best person to go to for advice on teal. There really isn't... but I think I need those items now...

I've never had anyone do that when I've done a TekTek, though I'm sure it's happened plenty. I love it when people just let you go truly wild. What do you mean you've been a bit cliche? In what way?
I've never been to the AT subforum, myself. xD I learned of good avatar combinations all on my own. o: Though I probably wouldn't be able to afford all the basic needs, anyway.
I really tried to make a good TekTek using the bustier, I'm glad you like it. ^^ I wanted to put in  , but it wasn't showing up, so I had to substitute it.
I really don't think I'd be best for advice, because the shades of the items still seem a bit off. I feel like doing it over. It doesn't look balanced to me. D:
