PhaedraMcSpiffy You're welcome. I wanted to make something like Fundies Say The Darndest Things or Media Matters or Right Wing Watch because this s**t is just too crazy to ignore. Lots of pro-life people say cruel, ridiculous things and go unchallenged and unquestioned. I think it should be pointed out. Oh, and it's a damned shame Setar's not one of us. He's been contributing to this guild and debates on the ED for years! rofl He probably does more to help us out than some of our more dedicated guild members! Shocking. Wait, Setar? Lord Setar? He's been pro-life all this time? eek

I am having a REALLY hard time not screaming in this thread. Someone sane please step in and help me out. Remember the little girl in Brasil who was 9 years old, raped by her stepfather and pregnant with twins? That woman still won't explain why that story is false and is actually ignoring me now. pockybot I know what I say is a loaded statement, but so many liberals(of which I spose' I am one too) make it sound like abortion rights is up there with the civil rights struggle or gay rights. Its not. With the exception of rape, sexual intimacy is a choice between two people. [...] A woman with no health risks from a potential childbirth talked into going full term to me is not the same as a black or gay person being denied rights. Yet so many on the left make it seem like that Don't worry, ladies. Illegalizing abortion may look like it forces you to give birth against your will, but really they're just talking you into it!

Reading this stuff makes me very depressed. I have been pro-choice my entire life and I absolutely LOVE children! I also used to work with at-risk youth and I donate to charities that help children, I used to babysit and I educate people on child soldiers and child psychology, etc...
I do more for some children than their own parents do.
