Keith insists on holding Maddison's hand the entire time. A few times he needs to be stopped from going after innocent humans, but he is getting used to being in a small crowd relatively fast. "What does it mean when a human has a black cloud over their head?" he asks, watching an elderly woman with one pass by.

Actually, even if there weren't, he wouldn't let Keith kill her. THe first time killing someone can be traumatic, and Keith hasn't exactly mastered how to bite without causing pain.

Maddison shrugs. He understands his reasons, and so he doesn't consider himself mean. "It seems like you're starting to get a hang of this though, I haven't had to stop you from rushing at someone in almost an hour."
