JHe was going to do everything in his power to come back in one peice but it might not have been totaly probable that he would. Shadows heart sank as he turned t leave the manor for what might be the final time, leaving behind everythign he had known for the past few years, his home, his kids, Luna, everything. This would be the hardest thing for him to do, leaving when his return would be not certain and only a slim possibility. "Come Marcus, it is time. Only follow if you are truely willing to sacrafice yourself for those you hold dear." Shadow said as he started his slow walk out from the manor and towards the forest where the viel was thin and easy to tear open to another lost place, the lands of Nosgoth.

Kashan chuckled at this overcomplicated senless joke. It was his sort of humour through and through. "Don't worry, i understand copletly." he said and laughed a little. "Insanity is for the best, simply because I do nto think we would work very well in a sane stable world. Not for a moment" he said with a smile and laughed a littl eharder as Sam reached for her shoe.

Marcus sighs deeply an noded.Taking one last look at his home an family "yes Father i am coming with you . " Marcus followed Shadow thru the forest "i would give life for not just ,my wife or my family ,but for everyone in the mannor to keep them safe "walking thru sweeped aside viel "we will. come father , i wont leave you here " Marcus now put on his solder face an stiffened up whispered softly on the wind "i'll come home charlotte ,i promis." Marcus had his and steady on the blood drinker "so what is the frist order of bussines?"

Shadow stopped as he reached the weakest point int he viel between realms, he paused to look at Macrus, "That is the right attitude, I thought it woudl take you many years and many battles to learn that one. Most fight for glory, fame, for the spoils or the status but those are the wrong reasons to fight. Even with all the gold, all the glory and fame int he world, if you have lost those closest to you then it is all meaningless. You will do well when the time comes to pass everything to you." He said as he turned back to the viel and lifted his hand. "In order to get to Tarterus we must pass through a place formally known as Nosgoth, a once proud place that now lies in ruin with only scattered groups left inhabiting it. Once there we will pay a short visit to an old friend of mine before heading off. they will come in handy for our venture as support. Friends come in very handy for a venture like this, especially those that you trust and owe a great deal to. Oh and marcus, you had best prepare yourself now, there will be little time to do so once we arrive and move to our destination, there is no turning back fromt hsi point on." Said Shadow. he now focused his mind on ripping apart the viel, focusing ont he lost lands that have faded from history and memory, known only to few scholars as places of fantasy and fairy tale and even fewer as a place of long lost heros. he spoke the words of long dead lanauges, lanuages where each seperate words held its own strange sort of power and finally tore the viel and created a sfae path for now. "Follow me through fire, through pain, follow me through darkness." He whispered to himself before stepping through.

~Sighing Ganelle arose from the chair she had slid into and slipped out of the door of the medical room. She figured Rainick was busy and decided to explore. Stepping out into the hallway she realized how different the air seemed than other places and how eerie it was. Shivering from a sudden chill that raced down her spine she folded her arms across her chest and began walking down the hallway aimlessly. Turning random corners she found herself standing infront of what appeared to be a library. Figuring that it was she stepped in. Amazed by how many books there were she couldn't help but smile. When she was younger Ganelle would always read. Wandering down the shelves of books she found the classic, 'Hamlet'. Smiling she cracked it open and allowed her mind to slip into the book.~

Shadow and Marcus emerged from the temporary tunnel. Shadow took in the familir air of this place, he had only been here a couple of times previously but it held many memories. They were standing atop a hill that over looked an old city. Shadow pointed to a larger ruin in the centre of the city. "That is what remains of the cathedral. we should be able to find what I seek there." Said Shadow as he started walking down the hill, "Oh and marcus, be polite, these people can be a tiny bit overly agressive."

"Friends Marcuc. Plural. There are several here and they already know we are here. We are headign for the cathedral because that is the place we agreed on." Said Shadow. He noticed that Marcus was alittle tense right now, a grip on the sword to make it easy to draw. It was one way of doing things but was easily seen by others and did give off the wrong signals to people. "Relax a little Marcus, relax your sword arm. You do not need to have your hand on it all the time. You can rest you hand against the cross guard and use your thumb to flip it out in a hurry and you will not look hostiles to my friends here." Said Shadow quietly to Marcus. The boy needed to learn when to loosen up and when to be tense and prepaired. "Not much further now, and please do take in the scenery. i know it is a ruin but it is important. Our realm could end up liek this if you are not careful."
