Then Mini-Aoi would sweatdrop and tell him that his mini-version isnt allowed to fight back... and possibly drag David by the ear and literatlly throw him into the mob to save his Mini-version.

keishi_rin Because the point of the test is to keep them alive, and safe..... Or you'll get KOed. if you read the discription of the first post, it says "He who protects all." So, of course, you need to protect someone for the test... then you'll go up. the original eastern king chose to make the person protect a miniature version of the person, so they can learn to overcome their fears to protect what's close to them.
Well, just be lucky you dont get controlled by the seven deadly sins *sweatdrop* That makes more sense, if you are to protect someone, then I wouldn't place it as himself, I'd place it more as a scaled down version of Kami-naga. His snake companion. That's really the only person he wants to protect at theis time. That and the Cathedral are his only cares at this point in his life. Later it will expand to Kumogakure, and to most of it's inhabitants. but for now he only wishes to protect two people.

He'd probably kill her instead just for that. That, and he'd question why his mini cared about a rule like that. He's never, EVER, followed other people's rules. Except in the chuunin exams. He didn't want to be thrown out of those.

then why hasn't he gone against the village rule of not killing your allies? I'm somewhat sure that someone would have told him not to with his personality.

Because that's not a rule. That's common sense. He's not the type to randomly kill allies anyways. And even after that, he sees Suna as his, along with everyone in it. You don't destroy your own possessions without good reason.

@ Neru: The mini verison is exactly like how he was at 8; so I think he would have a Mini-KamiNaga with him.
@Kage: Well, that's what happens when you lose to the dark version of the south mountain.... either that or an explosion.
@Hinote: Then David would be sent down to the bottom of the mountain; incapable to find out whats on top if he ignores the trial and attacks Mini-Aoi. Mini-David doesnt really have a choice in the matter; as all the mini-versions cannot use any sort of jutsu, weapon/taijutsu style, etc. They are incapable, even if they tried.... it's kinda asking a boulder to spread wings and fly into a giant wall of jello.... it's just not going to happen *sweatdrop*

I wouldn't say evil... Just pure madness when it is called for.
But yeah, actually in the Naga bloodline it is called for you to be evil.

But he seems highly analitical, as well as extremely detached when it comes to his emotions. Then why wouldn't he be severe on people who fail in his eyes? Maybe not killing them, but torturing them to the point they no longer have a mental capacity?
Or I might just be getting the entirely wrong idea of david's character... If so then this is disturbing, even though I have nothing better to do, I haven't thought of a character with that persona... hmmm...

No, Snakes are different, Because anaconda's take 8-12 weeks of incubation, An eight year old Sonji wouldn't have his newborn Kami-naga. Because of my choice of partner snake, I'm unable to have a realistic snake that was there for all of Sonji's life from birth when they are supposed to choose their partners, so I only have newborn anaconda. ( Which is still born larger than what gregar wants... but since that is my choice of partner snake, and because it is a snake, I don't see how I can be denied it as a partner. )

Only when something Sonji likes is threatened, such as the cathedral, or Kami-naga will he ever fight at full power, but if it is only after himself, he won't fight at his full power. That's when Kami-naga will trigger him by "Speaking" to Sonji.

Didn't I tell you rules don't apply to him? That includes rules of logic! XD
@Neru: That's fine, David is the #1 most misunderstood character in POTS. NOBODY understands him at all. Hell, I barely know what he's thinking half the time.
The one person he truly saw as a failure, he tried to "fix". If he finds an ally who just isn't up to par, he'll take it upon himself to force them to improve.
He's not really as detached as he seems. More so, he just doesn't care. Hardly anything has the ability to make him really care about what's going on around him, and beyond that, he has to keep himself in that state, or the Ichibi starts to take control.

So he is a wild card of sorts... chaotic neutral maybe? Heh, if I was playing a character like him, he wouldn't "Fix" anything, he'd just dispose of it. but then again... Isn't that exactly had Gaara acted? so Really if I had the Ichibi I'd be a gaara knockoff... Slightly disturbing... Hmmm, I would say that that would lead to the ichibi being more powerful over him, but at the same time it is a variable that the Ichibi probably isn't used to. I doubt that the ichibi has ever gotten an answer besides " And? " from David... Hmm... Gah! I'm trying to pick apar a character I know very little about... Oh well, it is hurting my head so I think i'll stop trying to pick him apat into characteristics, and I'll leave him the peice of art that he is.

Heh, it is fine, as long as you don't break anything, plus it would be kinda hard for you to do that to the Cathedral... unless you had legendary heel drop powers except your's was legendary face smash... Also, it would still be too early for him to have an egg of Kami-naga.
