@ Skotti: No worries, hermano. It's the Internet and tones are misread a lot (like that one time at church camp). So, it's cool.
@ Pen: The name? Ummmmmm. . . I got nothing right now. lol!

I like the idea. But I'm also interested in how it will be executed? Are we doing after Aang...because after Aang comes Kura. From what I have read, the world of Avatar has changed quite a bit by the time Kura comes around. Plus, what is to keep our group together once the avatar is dead? We fight the Avatar and then what...? I know I seem harsh, but I realize that all the other roleplay's we have are built so that they can be filled with a thousand different arcs and still be focused on the end mission. The main is to follow to the Black Operation force of the Kuro's gang. D.D follows the lives of young elves and they're lives. Exile follows mutants as they fight for equality, against each other, and eventually against a government trying to wipe them out. These all are blank canvases, waiting to be filled with a ton of different smaller arcs. Is the avatar one, just one really small role play? That will end once the mission is done? Or is they're more going on? Plus...which Avatar are we fight? Or are we making one up? And what about minions?

Well I was thinking we go like the new series is doing and meet in an old city. Everyone can have their reasons for wanting to join. It will start a rumor that bunch of benders are trying to over throw the recent avatar.
I would believe that would be an arc by itself.
Then we travel. Every new place will have some thing to do. Just like in the show we have adventures long before we meet our goal.
If anything we kill the Avatar from some hundred pages later. Then it would be the guys job to organize and deal with any romance left over. When we kill the Avatar we can discuss where it goes from there.

Will each of these new place that we travel, have clues or gain us allies in our search. Oh, and I had a thought on how we meet up. What if its we are all recruited by a larger group. A team of the excellent bender to take on the strongest bender in the world. Of course other will be struggling against him as well. What is it that makes him/her an evil Avatar? Has he killed people without real reason? Is he/she trying to take over the world? IS there an army that we're facing?

Well each place would be an exp to get better as benders since I see us as still kids.
The whole a big group of benders getting together seems cool and somehow the big group fall apart and that leaves our characters to continue on.
I really don't know what makes him evil.

Well that will be key...since if he hasn't killed people at whim, hasn't destroyed lives and homes. Then we don't look like good guys, but rather bad guys chasing after the good guy. What if the guy/girl really isn't the Avatar, but just claims to be. They (the false Avatar) takes advantage of the time when the true Avatar is training or is still growing up. He/she with they're group of followers are spreading a message around that the world must be united under the Avatar's control (the false Avatar's control). Thus there is group that knows and is seeking training for the true Avatar, but while that is happening the false one must be handled with. That where the group starts out. A group of young and old benders are recruited to fight the false Avatar and his/her cronies. What makes this interesting is that the false Avatar has the numbers and support to back up they're force. Also no one knows what this Avatar looks like, they only know that there are four supposed "masters" who guard the false Avatar. If you don't like the idea, you can shot it down. I was just expanding on what you gave me as well as give a reason for the Avatar to be bad.

I had an idea... it would be the avatar after Kura... so the whole Aang thing is almost just folklore in a way. What if the Earth Prince was actually the avatar? The power can get to him... after mastering all 4 elements and he becomes Earth King maybe he goes crazy with power and starts to enslave the people of the Earth kingdom, and maybe even kill other benders, because they are a threat. The group could travel to each of the Avatar's old masters to try and find out what could be his weakness or how he can be taken out of power, Or even be killed. Seeing as he is the Avatar... I would think that this RP would be quite long... it won't be easy to defeat him. Just an idea... :-p

@ KD: And it would give us a reason to not only travel, but to also get into all kinds of trouble!
@ Pen: We should also have one of those moments in our Role Play similar to that one Episode- I forgot what it was called, but Toph fell into some Ocena, and I guess Sakka's girlfriend went to go save her, or something, and Toph was like ":'D Oh, Sakka! I knew you cared!" but Sakka's girlfriend was like, "Um. . I'm not Sakka. redface " and then Toph was like, "Oh. . You can let me drown now." XD Lol!! One of the funniest moments ever.

Thank you, Skotti. I'm worried though since now that I look back the idea seem to have morphed the original idea. Though, I do like having to not battle a real avatar. They have the power of all the element, plus the kick-a** Avatar State...I can't help, but feel like we're at a sharp disadvantage.

I dunno... I guess I think that maybe... we don't have a chance... at least not at first... thats what makes it more deep, and keeps a long plot going. But we have hope. And not knowing how to defeat him will keep things interesting and keep our minds working on ideas during the RP. We would have fights with his minions/army members and such.... they don't all have to be earthbenders too... I have a feeling that after Aang the nations all kinda merged into one another and there all benders everywhere of every kind. Which reminds me... if Aang and Katara have a child... and it is an Airbender... would he also be a Waterbender? Or do they just get one bending ability. How do we feel about different benders having children? Not to have 2 elements per se, but siblings who's parents are two types of benders, and each of them have one parents bending power. ie: Mom is Waterbender, Dad is Airbender- child 1 is waterbender, child 2 is airbender.
*EDIT* I'm not shooting your idea down Tique, I like it a lot, it would give us a chance to actually have a chance haha, plus the idea of his 4 evil "Masters" is awesome, because then we have 5 people to defeat as opposed to just the one. How though, will s/he convince the world that he is the Avatar? Won't people notice the time line is off? Where is the real avatar? Why wouldn't they be helping?

Well the Fake Avatar has potential. I would have to think the real avatar can't help the group cause he is like 5. The fake avatar could have found the real avatar when they were both like 15. Being crazed that his friend was the Avatar he killed him. Waited a good 5 years and then took the title for himself.
