*Purrs contentedly*
I have internet right now, cause I'm using the dial up at home. I'm moving to West Virginia shortly and I should have wireless there... or I guess at least dialup

As much as I feel a little ashamed to admit it, I'm digging the new Linkin Park album. I guess I'd thought I'd outgrown them, being one of their VERY early fans, but I'm starting to think they've grown up right with me, musically speaking.

The first indication that they were even worth checking out again is that they stopped acting like a Parental Advisory on one of their "mainstream" albums (as opposed to their more hip-hop/rap-centric off-albums) wasn't the end of the world. The sound as a whole is just a lot more mature, a lot less angsty, even if the lyrics are still down that alley. Then again, I never had a problem with the lyrics, it was that their sound was getting stale... Meteora did basically nothing original, and the band as a whole seemed like it wasn't going anywhere. Seems like they realized that themselves and fixed it with Minutes to Midnight.

At least there's not "Ninjas, hundreds of them!" although there could be... and we'd be none the wiser.

Damian Felheart Seems like they realized that themselves and fixed it with Minutes to Midnight. So basically, they stepped up... as opposed to trying to ride their one hit album through their entire careers until the band broke up and went to join other indie pop/rock/rap groups.
