Hey guys! With all the stuff about being active in the guild going on, and me here, not having posted for days (I think), I figured I should post something even though it seems that no one's posted since yesterday evening. (I won't call it last night because I know there are usually people on here at times more appropriate to the term. Like, 11:59pm for example)
Hey, did anyone know what AM and PM stand for? I found out a couple days ago in Astronomy. AM means Ante-Meridian and PM means Post-Meridian. (ante - Latin word for before, post - Latin word for after, meridian - comes from Latin word meaning middle) So am is before the Sun crosses the middle of the sky, and pm is after. I knew that before, basically, but I never knew until now where they came from. Isn't it cool?
