The portal pulled the demon into it, locking him away in what one could call Hell's waiting room, which with Hell in it's current state wasn't servicing.

The portal closed once the demon was gone.
Slash went over to Kysha.

After a few minutes Kysha's wounds were healed though she was still out, but her stomach was a bit bigger.

(I understand what you mean, and in the script it says he was knocked off by the other guy when he was bumped by Emily when she suddenly teleported when dodging the guitar swing, and you are entitled to your own opinion)
