Itaka rolled his eyes following the others "We stop to feed a cactuar and all of a sudden we're lovebirds?" he asked hitting Oassu across the back of the head after Seph "Get some sense kid, you don't know nothing" he sighed walking on grumbling something about stupid lovebirds.

Oassu rubbed his head "Well....least they hit the same way, though I'm sure thats a bit of an overreaction for folk who are just friends," he added sticking his tongue out, earning him another backhand from Itaka.

Zadina sighed but giggled at Satoshi's suggestion, "Ok Miss Satoshi here you go" he said handing her the thunder book "It's all about the lightning element though I don't think you need it, I'm sure theres gonna be some electric jutsu you can learn."

Mari smiled "Maybe we should let her hold Sophia and see if she likes her too, also Cid then we'd know if she has a particular thing for animals or not, but you know she gets on all right with Itaka" she chuckled "Clearly she can tame some animals" she said coyly.

"Thats quite a monster you summoned" Alex said to Neliel from behind her "though don't you think it's a bit much?" he smiled leaning against a book shelf "Still don'tcha think this place could do with a little redecorating doll?" he sighed looking up at the ceiling "The dark dingy look is so overdone these days"

"We weren't whispering about much. Just about the books here" Satoshi replied as she opened the book and flicked through the pages, briefly glancing at one or two pages for longer. "I am not all that good with lightning jutsus but I do know one or two basic thunder spells you know"

Felina sighed "Just leave those two alone for now. We can tease them about it later" she told Oassu rubbing his head. She laughed as Cid hopped onto his head mimicking her with his paw.

Hayate rolled his eyes at Alpha "You could have been more subtle you know" he muttered to him. He looked back over at Seph and Itaka "It's only for a short while just until we clear the next floor" he told her.

Seph looked down at Sophia trying to push out any thoughts of breast feeding "Well she is asleep for now so I haven't got to worry too much" she replied gently poking the tonberry back with her finger "Just don't go telling anyone you saw me looking after her, it would kill my reputation" she added.

Alpha shrugged turning his gave off Sophia "It may not have been subtle but it worked didn't it. Maternal instinct takes over every time" he added in a whisper forming a small smirk.

Hebal snickered a little before coming to a stop several steps later. she bent down digging into the sand "The exit to this floor is a trapdoor so help me find it" she requested shifting the sand to the side of the book case.

Neliel scowled placing her hand on the hilt of a sword she had been carrying "I don't usually accept propositions and I highly doubt an intruder like you could propose anything that I could benefit from"

Itaka grinned "What? Great Warrior Seph has a side job babysitting? Wouldn't wreck your rep at all" he laughed getting down and digging.

Oassu nodded watching Felina and Cid dig "It's all thanks to his mama," he said rubbing Felina's cheek before sitting down and digging in himself.

Mari giggled "Its not that silly, most people would come into this room and see nothing, no door no way out, we got in here by teleporting remember? I'm guessing many men died trying to escape." she said frowning as she discovered a skull in the sand before throwing it away.

Zadina dug "Satoshi how can you use mana and chakra? It seems an awful lot to utilise for one person" he asked.


Alex just smiled "Darlin' please you won't be needing that" he said pointing to her sword, "Besides I have one thing that may interest you" he said taking a book off a shelf and casually examining it, he closed it swiftly after it tried to bite his face off "Revenge..." he said maliciously as a glint came into his eye.

Hayate raised his eyebrow at Hebal tossing away a couple bones he had found in the sand next to him. "Has any intruder ever reached the final floor or succeeded in taking something from here" he asked out of curiosity.

Felina watched Cid for a second while she continued digging in different parts of the sand "Don't forget it's also partly down to his good old papa" she told Oassu with a wink "Are your sure we are in the right area?"

Satoshi thought about the question for a minute as she and her clones kept on digging "You think it is? I never noticed really. Then again a small amount of chakra is made up of mana" she answered. One of her clones suddenly stopped digging and disappeared into a puff of smoke "I found the trapdoor" she stated moving over to where her clone had been digging.

Seph grinned back nudging Itaka with her foot "I am not trying to soften you up, you're doing that on your own. I just think you could benefit from experiencing the responsibility required in parenting" she answered sticking her tonge out.

Alpha tossed the skull away before heading over to the trap door "We only covered half this floor max. There's bound to be pleanty cactuars left in a different part of the floor" he reassured Mari pulling the handle to lift open the door.

Hebal crawled back a little as some of the sand shifted downwards to the next floor. She then turned around and placed her feet on the rungs of the ladder once the sand had settled "Hold the ladder steady for me will one of you? It's a long climb down"

Neliel continued walking towards Alex slowly "I like my books but the main reason is none of your concern." She placed her finger under his chin and stared into his eyes "I can see that you are serious in what are saying" she told him removing her hand and taking a few steps back "However you cannot expect me to take up an offer without first giving time to consider it"

Itaka grunted "I ain't soft, but I'll make a fine father let me see her!" he said taking Sophia from Seph. Sophia rolled over and snuggled into Itaka's chest "See she's comfy as anything with me" he said sitting down beside the trapdoor.

Mari smiled "Goody Cactuars need love" she said getting on the ladder she glanced at Seph and Itaka "hehe you look like a married couple" she said sliding down the ladder.

Oassu followed "Itaka may be soft but his fists are hard" he said remembering being punched earlier before sliding down.

Zadina nodded "So thats how you Ninja's can do incredible physical feats? Of course it puts you at a disadvantage if you ever drain" he said climbing down the ladder "And rabbits don't breed that much, Cid is a good boy and....Hebal is kinda a rabbit....maybe...kinda....and she's not bad" he said uncertainly.


Alex grinned stroking his chin "Darlin you may be the sexiest librarian I've ever met but don't think you have forever to consider this deal" he said taking out a small shaving razor and starting to trim his stubble. "Them folk have already taken out two of your 'pets' and they are strong enough to reach you most of them have some solid physical ability too, I should know I travelled with them once before" he said scratching off a little stubble "You can run all you want but these guys are strong plus they have backup from the Light Clan" he smiled "No doubt you know how much of a hassle they are" he said getting up "But if you'd like to get better acquainted just gimme a call, t'names Alex if things get too rough just gimme a call" he said tipping his hat to Neliel before fading into smoke.
