"Koji! Kazuya! Get a move on! Your exams are in two weeks. You wont even qualify for them if you dont get your butts in gear!"
She yelled at the two boys. Her face had regained a semi-serious and uncaring look as she watched them do the jutsu. Doing something at this level annoyed her. She wished she had students who already knew the basics...

Gihen sent a fury of punches into the tree in front of him.
The stupid thing just wouldn't go down for some reason.
He could feel that he was so close though.
"This tree is going to go down soon, I garauntee it."
Gihen walked back a few feet and shook his hand out.
This training was getting a little tougher now.

Gihen fell backwards panting.
His last launch of kicks completely destroyed his energy.
He fell down to his back and slowed his breathing.
Finally, he sat back up and looked at the tree.
"It's splintered, almost there..."
Gihen stood back up and walked over to the tree.

Finally, the tree cracked at the base and fell over neatly.
Gihen stepped over to the next tree and rolled his shoulder.
That was one, now he just needed to get the other two.
"Eh, this isn't so bad. I've got one, now it's just for the others. Two more and I can go on to the next part."

Gihen bit his lip and held his wrist as he slammed it into the tree.
A shooting pain went up his arm as he punched into the tree.
"That...was stupid right there..."
He shook his wrist out and walked back up to the tree.
Gihen was determined to finish this training.

Stubborness, that was the word to describe Gihen.
Once something caught his eye, or something pissed him off, he'd find a way to get it, or do something.
Gihen leaned against the tree and panted for a few moments.
He was having a difficult time with this tree.
"The next hit, I'll get it. If not, then the one after!"

Gihen sat down and panted slightly.
Some sweat was dripping down his forehead and he quickly wiped it away.
This one tree wouldn't budge at all for some reason.
"Ah! Freakin tree! Why won't you fall!?"
He stood up and walked back up to the tree.
Gihen was going to knock this tree down no matter what.

Gihen fell backwards once again.
How could he possibly get this tree to go down?
He wiped his forehead and stood up.
"I'm still, Mada mada dane..."
Gihen smiled and set foward towards the tree.
If there was one thing Gihen had, it was stubborness.

The tree split right off the trunk and Gihen sat down on it.
He wiped his forehead and rolled his right shoulder.
It took five tries for this tree, annoying.
"One more, then I can go on. Just one more...one more..."
Gihen stood up and walked over to the last tree.
One last one.

Gihen fell back onto his back and clutched his leg.
He tried a simple side kick into the tree, but it wasn't enough.
He sat up after a few moments and looked at the tree.
"Why? Why can't I get it?"
Gihen stood up and walked up to the tree, cracking his knuckles.
This tree was going to get underneath his skin.

Gihen swiped some dirt of his shirt and sighed.
He hit the tree, and of course, it did nothing.
"One more...one more...yeah, like I'll ever get this tree down."
He looked at the tree, sighed again, and walked back to it.
This was all he had to do and he'd move on.

Gihen fell backwards from yet another failed attempt at taking down the tree.
He brushed off some dirt on his shirt again and looked up.
The last tree was proving to be harder than all of the others.
He had the worst luck when it came to training most of the time.
"One more, just give me it..."
Gihen stood up once again and walked to the tree.

How many times had Gihen fallen backwards from the tree?
Counting this time, it'd be four.
Another failed flying side kick made him tumble backwards to his back.
As he lay there on the ground, one thought remained.
"I...hate...trees..."
Gihen ppushed himself up and walked back to the tree.
"This tree will burn in hell once I'm done."
