Cierra pushed herself in her small wheelchair into the kitchens and looked around for the head elf, Not spotting her right away, as the kitchens were somewhat busy, Cierra adjusted her teacozy over her lap and set about piling her lap high with dirty dishes then went to a large sink and began scrubbing them.

Endria elf feels like today is a very hot day so she decides to make ice cold lemonade for everyone biggrin ....."which icecream would the masters like?hmmm...... "Endria elf finally decides to put all flavor icecream to have lots of variety mrgreen

Cierra noticed another elf beginning the tedious process of making lemonade for the students and staff. After she put the last of the dishes away, Cierra put her wizened fingers on the wheels of her small chair and made her way over, asking politely:
"Me is Cierra. Cierra is new elf here, and Cierra likes to be busy helping. Can Cierra be helping you make lemonades for wes masters and mistresses?"

Red was walking into the kitchens when he saw two other elves working on lemonade for the people at hogwarts.
"Can Red help? Me is new and wants to do something. Red would like to make and serve lemonade to masters and mistresses." biggrin

Serenus started to get out the bowls and mixing utensils. Setting the big mixing bowl on the counter she gets the flour, butter, eggs, vanilla, suger and brown suagr, baking soda and chocolate chips. She mixes the dry ingredents first in the large bowl. Taking the smaller one she melts the butter and pours it into the larger one. Next the egss went in with the vanilla and she mixed it all together. Taking a tablespoon of dough out she rolls them into a ball and places it on a cookie sheet. After a few trays she places them into the oven and waits.
"Mmmh...mmmh...la...mhhh."

Cierra looks up from her work. "Oh yes Red. Cierra is being very pleased to meet new elf. If you is likes helping you is can helps us"

"Red will help then!" Red said and started making lemonade for everyone at hogwarts. Red grabbed a pitcher and started making the lemonade.

Cierra was only slightly nervous now, and then only because she had not met the head elf yet. But she knew work was expected of her, and so she continued working. The lemonade was getting made quickly, and so as she worked, Cierra looked around the steamy kitchen once again, taking in her surroundings.

Red was pretty happy. She was working and the lemonade was being finished quite fast. She hadn't met the Head elf yet but she was barely nervous about that. Wouldn't the head elf be happy seeing a new elf working already?

Cierra's fingers flew, and pretty soon her portion of the lemonage was complete. She saw a few ovens that had been used recently, but were now empty and needed cleaning. Adjusting her tea cozy again, she grabbed a hefty pie of rags and moved to the nearest dirty oven, reaching inside and being very careful to remove all the dirt and grime and burnt on food as she could

After a while she could smell the cookies, they were close to done. Grabbing an oven mitt she opened the oven doors. Pulling them they were prefect and smelled great. She set them onto the counter and let them cool. She sat down on the chair and waited some more.

Cierra's arms were starting to get rather sore by this time from the combination of pushing herself in her wheelchair, and all the cleaning. But she knew the mark of a good and useful house elf was to never complain or else she'd need to punish herself.

Soon, Red was finished with making her portion of the lemonades. She turns around and spies some dirty mixing utensils and a bowl. It looked as if the person OR ELF who used them forgot to clean them and put them away when they were through. So Red rushed up to them and started doing her duty as a house elf and cleaning them. They were sparkly shiny clean after a minute or two so she put them back in their places and tried to think of something else to do.

She went back to her cookies and noticed her bowl was gone. Looking about she noticed it was taken by another elf. "Queek! You took Serenus' bowl!"
