The twins had to depart from one another, having separate schedules for most part. Kai had found his way to World History just fine, having taken his seat before the teacher arrived. Aya, however, got a little lost on her way to combat class and arrived just after Shizue's instructions.
"Um.. Sorry I'm late. I got lost."

"Hayashi, Aya. Front and center. You need to sign this and once you do you'll be assigned your position in your squad." Shizue told her as she handed her the waiver.

Stephanie held back a snicker; this was the sort of instructor she had hoped for. She knew a little about Shizue, from her father's story about six years ago, and she knew that the woman would not go easy on her just because she was six years old.
A woman with shoulder-length deep blue hair and glasses walked up to Hydro as he entered the main office and bowed "Hello, I'm Xiaedessa Tsubo, the student counselor, and Silver Visioner. It's good to see we have a strong person as our History Professor, I'll show you to your classroom" She led him outside and down into the breezeway. "I had hoped we might procure new allies, I can only hope that your power is enough. Most of the newer generation has not experienced the pain of battle, in the times of peace, and some of the old Camaraderie have gotten soft or completely given up the ways of the battlefield. I myself am not as strong as six years ago, yet my visions are ever the more vivid and clear." She led him down a hallway and stopped in front of a classroom full of students "Well, this is the place, please, don't be too harsh with them"
"Like, totally slutty, and in bad taste. I wouldn't dream of wearing anything like it." Annabeth had been busy chatting away with Marcus "I wonder if the teacher is, like, ever going to show up? Probably some old geezer who walks slower than a turtle."

"Yes M'am!" Aya hastily ran up to grab the waiver. After looking it over, she signed it and handed back to Shizue without word. 'Best not talk unless spoken to with this one...'
Kai observed the teacher as he came in and smashed his glasses; he smacked his palm on his forehead in reaction. 'Great, a teacher who doesn't seem to like his job. I'm really going to learn a lot from this one.'

Marcus chuckled at the teacher's entrance "Boring is right! I should be outside practicing my moves and showing off my sweaty muscles." He spotted the guy from earlier and turned to Annabeth "Hey Anna, that guy we met this morning is here. I bet he wants another look at my tight a**"
Mizaki ended up having physical education for first block, and basic combat as his fifth, to his dismay, but other than that, he was fine with his schedule. He rolled his eyes as he spotted Stephanie in the current combat class; at least he didn't have that particular class with her. He looked away as Guraha walked over to the P.E. side bleachers.
Lumineria stood silently next to Shizue, collecting the waivers as she handed them in; she knew she would enjoy being Shizue's combat assistant, and she was looking forward to seeing how quickly she broke all of the students.

After the class finished being assigned their lockers and formed up back in the drill gym Shizue began the course introduction. "Has anyone in this period experienced combat before?" Several students, most repeats of the class raised their hands. "All repeating students will take over as team leaders and squad leaders until I chose the strongest amongst you. The class will be broken up into squads. Each squad will have four teams of four. Each descending team will be the partner team for those in front of it. You will be doing exercises and sparring together. But for the first week we will be building endurance. Second week we will add in conditioning. Third week striking exercises. We will continue implementing parts of this class while maintaining the prior weeks added exercises. At the end of the four weeks I mentioned we will have and endurance test. Any failures during this test will automatically fail you. This class is important at this school and completion is required. You will remain until you pass. So work hard."Lumineria, pass out the syllabus. After receiving it, head over to the weight room. We're starting right away. So you will be putting on ten pound weights on each ankle, wrist, and a weighted collar around you neck. Another around the waist. So in total an addition 60 pounds. We'll start by running around the school five times in them. So form up by the gate after putting them on. I'll be leading the exercise."

Stephanie headed into the weight room with an expression of satisfaction. She had been training on ten pound weights all summer, so she knew she would have no problem
Annabeth giggled "Oh Marcus, you are, like, bad, I mean, like, bad bad" She turned to Hydro "So, like, Mister Teacher Person, are we, going to have to do, like, homework and stuff for you?"

"Where are those books? ah, yes here we go." Hydro grabbed an armful of books and started passing them out. He flipped through the pages and gave an angry stare. "Theres not even a word in here about the first demon war on earth. It was just as important as this 'edison' guy discovering electricity."

Aya's eyes were bulging out of her head when she had finished putting the weights on. '60 pounds for the first day!? I can barely handle an additional 30...'

Stephanie was doing her warm up stretches and moves, and she looked over to the girl next to her "More than you are use to? Good thing we have a teacher who places value in real training experience." She ran out of the weight room and jogged out toward the gate. She managed to make front of the line, and she stood there, awaiting the others.
"Ewww, I hate carrying around books. They are, like, heavy and stuff!" Annabeth poked at the book cautiously "Who cares about stuff that happened like, when old people were, like, not so smelly and wrinkly?"

"Hurry up people! At least I didn't double your weight like my master made me do when I first started learning the martial arts." She strapped on her own weights; each fifty pounds. "It is time to form up! We will run to a military cadence. This will help strengthen your concentration in a stressful situation. We all stay on step. When one of us is off step, we stop, we perform 100 of a random exercise of my choosing, and start again from the position we stopped. So when I say 'left' your left foot hits the ground. When I say 'right', the same applies to the right foot. This is a basic exercise to keep you concentrating and disciplined. Lumineria, you take squad two. Make sure to be on the opposite step I am when you call your cadence." She went back to speaking to the class. "By the end of the week we will have chosen proper squad positions and one of you will be taking up the 'banner' position and have to call cadence when running. Oh right, for the first week when one person screws up, both squads will be disciplined. After that each squad will be competing and as such neither will be disciplined for a fault in the other squad." She unlocked the gates and pushed them open. She took her position by at the rear of the first squad, Lum doing the same to make sure the students were all on step. "Alright, lets go!" She called out and began calling cadence.
Okako face palmed and turned around in her seat. "Really?" She asked Annabeth. "It's people like you who make the same mistakes again and again because you never learn from the past. People like you are the reason the world is so ******** up today. Now shut up and let him start class without having to heckled by questions a kindergartner could answer."

Ashley was right behind a girl with long black hair, and as he attempted to keep up with the tiring pace, he felt as if the weights were getting lighter. This can't be, it is scientifically impossible for my body to be adjusting so quickly... Lost in thought, he accidentally bumped into the girl, then stumbled, falling forward
"HALT!" Lumineria turned around at the commotion, and stood over Ashley "Why, Instructor Shioni, it seems this little maggot has fallen out of line. Orders?"
Marcus pushed to book aside "Books won't help me make the Rugby cut. Of course, with a bod like mine, it's a sure thing" He turned and sat with his knees to the back of the chair, then leaned forward, and began shaking his butt, chanting "a** like that"
