Lain nodded, and leapt as her cellphone in her baggy pant's pocket started vibrating, and playing loud Rammstein lyrics. "Heh... Stupid thing always scares the living soul out of me." Lain got up, pulled the insistant device from her pocket, and looked at the screen. "... Gimme a minute." Lain walked over to a dark corner, pressing the talk button, and began conversating softly with the person on the other side.

Saria glanced up and nodded as Lain went over to the corner then returned her gaze to look up at Cyprus, waiting for his answer. He reminded her of several someones but if only she could remember who. Oh well. She mentally shrugged and waited for him to reply to her query.

Cyprus stared up at the ceiling for a moment then he looked down at Saria."I came from.........a battle field. Where day by day Lycans and Demons had to run from hunters. Not many Demons could control their powers so they wouldn't use them. The Lycans I knew were just cowards. I can't really say that though my father was a highly skilled demon, on of the few who could control his powers, and my mother was..........a Lycan.", Cyprus said as he looked away from them."After that my parents had been banished from the little group and they went to Alaska. There my mother gave birth to me. Then we moved to L.A. Where I was raised. A few hunters had been following us since my parents got exiled. They finally found us in L.A. and killed my parents. My parents tried to fight back and kept telling me to run. Ever since then I have hated hunters. They were the ones I killed a while back using my demon appearance. I had to kill 10 other people though, since they witnessed my power.", Cyprus said as he looked towards the ground and made a noise like he was trying not to cry and then looked back over to Saria.

His words started to bring back vague memories of the past and of battles fought long ago; of a group of friends, Saria's pack, and a flash of a little girl, but when she reached for the memories, a sharp pain stabbed the back of her head, so she let them lie.
She gave him a look that said that she trully cared and that she was there for him if he needed her to be."I am sorry. Sounds like a rough serious of events." It reminded her of something. "Have you ever been to japan?

"Yeah....the only part was Tokyo though. I made a few friends there. We went to Tokyo Underground a lot. I like cars and I like to race. It's a competition that gets my adrenaline going.", he answered her calmly.

Saria smiled at him. She didn't think that was the time period that she meant, but it was nice to know that she remembered something else.
"I don't remember when I was born. I don't remember much before about two years ago. I just woke up in a forest in Maryland, and came here because of the address on a scrap of a bloody post card. But it is getting better I think. I seem to remember bits and pieces of things more and more and sometimes when I am talking to someone things just come out that I didn't even know I new, or thoughts pop into my head, Like how beautiful the cherryblossums are in japan backed by a sunset." Saria smiled, picturing the setting briefly in her head.
"I met up with Saylis here. I knew her from before and hanging around her and others that we both used to know seems to help bring things back a little faster, but it is still hard sometimes." She finished frowning slightly, then changing it back to a smile.
"So what made you decide to come to New York of all palces?"

Saria answered her text message quikly with her right hand.

and pressed send, but it said that message did not complete and figured that Amaya's mailbox was full and that she would be here soon anyway. She returned her attention to Cyprus.

"A mortal was talking to me one day and he said something about a sighting of a man that could turn into a dog. I asked him where it was. He said he heard it was in New York somehwere in the state. I was just rolling into town when I realized I smelt something odd like Lycans I came into this bar thinking it was a mortal bar, but when I got closer to it I smelt demons. Thus here I am", Cyprus answered her with a slight grin on his face as he looked over to her.

Saria smiled back. "Well let me be the first to welcome you to New York then!" Saria said putting her cellphone back into her pocket and shaking his hand with her right.
"Do you like it here so far, and do you have a place to stay?" She asked releasing his hand.

"I like the sights and the smell of a big city, always have. I don't have a place to stay yet. Usually a bar has an Inn built into it, thats kinda why I came here first.", He said as a light started flashing in his pocket then some 10th Man Down by Nightwish started going off. "Hold on just a minute, my friend from Tokyo.", Cyprus flipped it open and stepped aside saying,"What do you mean he lost my imported Mustang GT in a race?! Look I'll yell at him later, but you better get it back. Look I gotta go, I'll call ya later." With the yelling done he flipped the phone shut and walked back over to Saria."Sorry about that...", Cyprus apologized.

Saria smiled widely and just shook her head. "That's just fine. You can get an apartment at the hordes, which is kinda like the demon headquarters and is what many demons call home. Just talk to Neko. Oh, speaking of which," Saria turned to Neko. "Amaya should be here soon with the kittens. Then we can probably put the finishing touches on our plan and leave." Saria turned back to Cyprus.
"Till then if all else fails I am sure one of us wouldn't mind lending you a couch till you get your own place. In fact I am sure that Amaya wouldn't mind. I can ask her when she gets here. She is a fox animalian and my roommate."
