Yeah, D still hoses things sometimes. XD
I dunno...I had some pretty gross moments when I was growing up. XD
I guess I must have thought I was a little boy.

Heh I think it's like that on both sides. I grew up with 4 sisters and my brother was the youngest. I remember how we were, I'm glad I have boys. xd

Ritza, that is hilarious about the piano. I feel your pain though. Siennas new favorite trick is to stand on the dining room table and go "ta da". Or to put one leg over the edge of the tub and try to climb in. She is on everything! gonk It's exhausting just keeping her from getting hurt. Last week I was trying to stop her from falling, grabbed her wrist, and her elbow pulled out of the socket. (it was horrible) Yesterday she launched, and I mean launched herself face first off the couch, now she has a black eye. People are going to think I 'm beating her at this rate. Sascha was never like that I just can wait for it to pass.
And I'll agree that some girls can be just as gross as boys. Nopen Lissa is such a little lady, you may just be lucky! hee hee

Yeah, I was definitely not a little lady when I was little.
Don't feel bad, Angie. D went through that stage too. Actually he still has moments of sheer clumsyness now and again. He can climb into the tub with out attempting to introduce his head to the bottom of the tub now though. That's always comforting.

Hope nobody minds but I figured I should jump in and say hi.
My son is seven months old and just starting to pull crazy stunts, but not intentionly, he has just learned to crawl and has a thing for grabbing at cords which useualy(sp) results in phones and lamps trying to get him lol, I am so not used to this anymore as my daughter is four and I had forgotten what a pain she was at that age. Also she has a thing for trying to be mommy which is making me really twichy because I dont want to leave them unsupervised together but I do have to go potty and clean house once and a while.
anyhow mostly wanted to meet some of you and whatnot so hi * waves*

Bella is practicing her standing unassisted.
Right in front of the bookshelf.
Because standing unassisted gives you better grabbing and pulling down books ability.
Guess who's put all the books back on both bookshelves at LEAST four times this week alone?

Hi Willowbark! Glad you jumped in! We look forward to getting to know you!
I'm so proud of Lauren - she really is an obedient little thing! She used to try to get into the cds, but after telling her not to many times, she's finally taken the hint and won't go near them! There are several other things that I've drilled into her little head and she actually respects them!
Please tell me this obedience thing lasts!

It might it might not. My son won't stay away from the dvds or the cds. No ammount of time out, spankings, or redirection has helped.
It really depends on the child.

Welcome Willowbark! Gotta love that phase where they start getting mobile and they can find those perfect things they're not supposed to get into!
Ha, my son was a stubborn little thing. Timeouts didn't really start getting effective till he was 2 and he's still a bit devious on certain issues. xd

So my husband and I were eating cake tonight and I decided to let Lauren have a bit - I wanted to see how she'd dig into a piece of cake before her birthday rolled around. And boy, she certainly didn't disappoint!
The only thing is...2 hours later, she's rolling around in her crib and giggling like crazy. I've never seen her like this and it's cracking me up!

Ha ha. Aliena, that is too cute. Sascha used to be super good at listening. She did anything I'd ask. At 16 months, I kid you not, she would clean up after herself if she spilled. If I said "please don't touch" she'd stop. I never even had to say no. Fat lot of good that did. sweatdrop Lately she's a nightmare. I guess she used up all her obediance. If I told her she had to have cookies and ice cream for dinner, she'd throw a fit for vegtables, just because it's the oppisite of what I said. No matter what I say or how I punish her, she is determined not to listen. I am hoping praying, this is just a stage.

 @Aliena - That's so cute.
@Angie - I hope it ends for you soon too. My son seems to think that messing with things he's not supposed to is a game of some sort or another.
He listens when I tell him to not do things, but not when anyone else does.

I got so upset with Lissa last night I was in tears. Some days I feel like I am just at my limit with her and am yelling ALL THE TIME. gonk It's like no matter what I do she just does whatever she likes! I swear Bella listens better right now than she does. Also, I'd like "Why" stricken from the English Language. Last night when she was giving me the "Why" run around for going to bed I finally started asking her, "Well why won't you sleep in your bed?" "Why don't you want Bella to cry?" and she got all pissy with me and said "STOP ASKING WHY!" xd Turn about is fair play rugrat
