Joe blinked as something came to him. Mathy wanted powers. Kyle walked in. That would be...interesting.
Hey, Kyle. Watch out for the kisses if you're fighting Mathy. He, of course, sent them along the charms before shutting down the connections once more. Oh, yeah, he was going to relax real nicely in the warm water.

"HOLYCRAP" Matt shouted as he missed Kyle and was thrown to the side with the Banish spell. He landed on the ground and as he did, his fist collided with the ground in its continued swing. What ensued was a miniature explosion, causing a small crater in the floor.
Matt instantly sat up and held his hand in pain. "Goddamn son of a WHORE" he exclaimed. His hand felt like it almost broke itself with the sheer force of the punch. He was very disappointed that he had gotten so lucky with that situation, only for it to fail completely.
He got up to his feet and looked at Kyle from across the room. 'Okay then, we'll try a different tact. Any ideas for causing some damage with Mix?' His summon rambled off a list for two separate mixes. Matt took a few steps towards Kyle just to reduce the distance between them.
First he called forth a Maiden's Kiss and a Bomb Fragment and mixed them together, creating a pair of red lips that started floating towards Kyle. He quickly followed up by combining Zeus' Wrath and Arctic Wind. This Mix created a medium-sized ice spike that flew at Kyle with great speed. If Kyle evaded the bolt, the Lusty Kiss was liable to make contact with him and cause the Ignited status. If it hit, it would hopefully surprise him long enough for the kiss to still make contact.

Heeeeey Kyyyylllleeee...
Kyle watched Matthew from across the room, more jarred by the sudden explosion of force than Joe's message. Physically, he seemed no different; mentally, he was screaming bloody murder that sweet mother of mercy that was almost him.
... waaaatch-
Damn time-distortion. Okay, so, neither the dance or the item were Haste. If they were defensive, there would have been some sort of aura around him... with that sheer amount of force, could it be Bravery?
-oooouuut foooo--
Matthew finally got up, and Kyle seemed to tense once again. The Blue Alchemist made his way forward, but it wasn't until he began Mixing again that Kyle became slightly concerned. The first was a floating red pair of lips-- seemed insignificant, but who knew? The second was a glacial stalagmite/stalactite/whatever which was much, much faster.
-oooor theeee-
Instinctively, the giant frozen nail looking to crucify him took precedence. He twisted his body somewhat to the side, flourishing his spear and knocking the ice spike even further off-course. However, even though he'd dodged away from the lips, when he turned to face Matt again, he was brought face-to-lips with the spell, which struck him straight in the chest.
-kiiiissssseeeeess-
Suddenly, everything was very, very toasty.
"Oh my GOD I'M ON FIRE!" he shouted, his voice reaching a very freaked-out pitch before he released an agonized Dragon Roar. Desperate for health, he ran toward Matthew, clawing at his mind for the Lancet ability. His arms and spear, though now ablaze, began to glow with a vivid green aura of magic as the wildly slashed as Matthew.
[ Lancet Strike unlocked! ]
With each successful gash (even driven to near-desperation, he avoided any critical areas; in the back of his mind, he knew the Training Room would keep him alive), Kyle felt health and energy drain into his body. Even if Matthew wasn't Stunned and managed to block his strikes, trickles of mana would still be siphoned off, enough to repay the cost of Lancet Strike.
[[Oh, and though the profile says his MS is 11, that won't actually happen until Port Royal, so it's 10]]

"It was above eye level!" Bobbi protested, her voice hitting a higher pitch than usual due to her acute embarrassment. "Place wasn't designed for midgets like me. Hi Joe..." She heard someone leave the room, and since Joe had just come in, she was pretty sure it was Sora who'd left.
"Helluva way to find out Shiva has a sense of humor, too," Bobbi muttered after awhile. She went back to scrubbing; since Joe hadn't pitched a fit or anything, she figured she was tolerated here in the mens' room, if not welcome. Her statement was pitched so that Joe could respond to it if he wished, or take the statement as talking to herself.

No, that was when I learned you were a morning person with no patience and a terrible sense of appropriate wake-up calls, Bobbi retorted.

As happy as he was that his strategy actually WORKED, he was unable to get himself to move after Kyle let out his roar. As such Matt was forced to watch Kyle as he dashed at him and attacked him in a flurry of Lancet attacks.
'YES GET IT OVER WITH' he shouted at... himself? He still wasn't quite sure what was asking that every time. Upon learning Lancet Strike and being dealt more blows by Kyle, he found that he was able to move again. "Alright pally, that's enough of that," he said, and suddenly a torrent of water shout out from the mouth of his mask as he used Aqua Breath.

Genesis smirked at the response that Dusk had given him. It hadn't been his intention to recite something that resounded so well with the dark being's heart. However, if it allowed him to be on her better side than there was nothing wrong with it. With a few strides he had closed the distance between himself and the replica, now walking amidst her small horde of fox-like creatures. His black wing remained furled close to his body as he stopped in front of her.
"You claim that I know you, yet I do not. Curious how poetry can reveal so much of one's heart without trying. Perhaps that in itself is a gift. Forgive me, you may call me Genesis, and you are?" he asked in reply. Equally curious about the replica as she no doubt was of him.{Leon : Red Rose : Bridge}

While everyone else headed off in their own directions, the gunblader made his way toward the bridge. After making sure everyone was on. the boarding ramp was raised and locked. The propellers of the large airship began to spin and build up speed. At Kyle's word over the intercom Leon nodded his head. It was time for the ship to cast off once again.
"You heard him, let's go. Our destination is Shipwreck Cove," he stated as the engineers kicked up the power and the ship began to rise.
The Captain of the RGDF looked over at the helm and saw Beatrix standing at the controls. Seemingly fully healed physically at least as under her guidance the ship continued a steady ascent and they were on their way.

As each strike successfully hit the Blue Mage, Kyle felt his health balance out with the fast-burning Blaze consuming his body. At one point, he'd even managed to slowly get more Health than he'd originally had (though only barely); he knew this because his mana circuits no longer felt over-charged, waiting to erupt.
However, when Matthew finally regained composure, he knocked Kyle backward with his Aqua Breath. While Kyle didn't particularly like taking damage at this bad a state ('And right back to mana-rage.'), the water-elemental effects doused out the Blaze, leaving him fire-free.
With an exasperated sigh, Kyle fell on his behind, sitting up with spear laying across his lap. "Well, I got it, did you?"

"Yes, yes I did you spazzy mamajamma," Matt replied, wiping off some water from his mask with his sleeve. He was glad that they got it over with relatively little fuss. Except the crater in the floor. And Kyle having been on fire. And then Kyle flipping out like an angry cat. And then Matt spraying Kyle like a fire hose. Okay, it could have gone better.

Bobbi giggled at what Joe had said. She took a moment to scrub a bit more, giving herself time to think covered by the sounds of sloshing water.
"Shiva usually has something smart to say," she said after a moment. "Either smart-intelligent, or smart-a**. Usually the latter."

"It's kinda like having the voices back in my head,"Bobbi continued absently, ignoring her summon. She didn't treat her latest statement like it was something odd, rather stating it as a matter of fact. "Only less variety. I haven't heard them since my ex and I got together. I suppose they're kinda like our consciences manifest, you know? The summons, I mean. That's how Shiva acts, anyway. Or I'm crazy. Personally, I'd vote Option B. I'm nucking futs, man!" She said the last sentence in a kind of hippie-drawl, and chuckled at the end. It was nice to just chill out and talk to someone, even if she was in the wrong bathroom.

Dawn continued dancing even as the fighting went around her. The fight was a pretty short one. She kind of wished she had more to do with it. Either way she stopped her dancing, and lowered the bravery effect off of Matt and approached the two. Silently she went over to Kyle, who, from what she could tell, took the largest beating. She used some of her Whispering Wind on him to heal what the powers of the room hadn't then went over to Matt and did the same.
"Sooo," She said tilting her head to the side as she looked at them, "What next?"

"Genesis you say," Dusk said as she got to her feet, her minions remaining motionless as the new man stood among them, "Well Genesis, I am Dusk. It is a pleasure to meet a fellow poet. If you don't mind me saying, the wing is also a good touch."
The replica winked a little at Genesis. She remembered him from her former life, but only vaguely. She knew most of his story but didn't know much as other. He was not a good guy she knew that much. Not that it bothered her. As long as he didn't try to kill her everything would be fine.
"Though I am curious though, what brings you to a place such as this. Looking for inspiration.... or something else."

"I dunno. I suppose now we let Mathy go around punching everyone... but that could take all night, so probably best to get them in here," he mused, getting up slowly. He still felt tired and sore, even with Dawn's healing...
"Oh yeah, uh, Training Room, No Handicaps, and Regular Time," he called out, and little spheres of health came rushing from the walls back into him, bringing him back up to full. The sound he released could be considered nothing short of a moan of joy.
"Or just hug them, I guess, since I'm pretty sure it works as long as contact is made," he said, dispelling his spear. "Then you don't have to worry about doing too much damage. Whaddya think?"

"Well that sounds like it'd be fun," Dawn said with a sarcastic tone as she looked at the blue mage, "Though I am curious as to which of my abilites he'd be able to learn. We know it wouldn't be the one I put into effect when he was beating you, Kyle, or he would of learned it. Unless you did and not tell anyone. Other than that I got dances I can try on him. Unless he wants me to throw him around with a little wind. Though..." Dawn paused a moment looking at the two of them, "I wonder if anyone would be willing to be a test subject for a few things I've been trying with my dances. After we are done I mean."

Joe raised an eyebrow at Bobbi's admittance to voices in her head, but ended up chuckling. "Perhaps. I like to think they take on a part of our personality. Considering Sylph is...well. A bit immature and childish."
And you love it.
"Which of course I can be when our lives aren't, you know, on the chopping block, so to speak."
