Ava stood motionless as she was hit everywhere at once. She saw every move in its beautiful splendor but did nothing. As Kasumi started to talk to her, Ava's vision faded out, to a white scene. A heavenly scene with a gate, its gates slowly opening. Ava managed her last word as she stepped forward and exploded in a violent rain of blood and assorted body parts, 'Amen'

The blood covered Kasumi, and the area around both of them. A gruesome end to a terrible fight. Ava's body found rest on the ground for the last time.


Ultima only heard the blood be released, he never saw it. He let go off Rias, and relaxed the vines on her ankles. He said nothing to her but just rolled his chair over to Kasumi.

Ultima managed to stop as close as possible to Kasumi. The blood made it hard to move on the grass, his chair kept slipping and sliding but he made it. Before him he saw Kasumi, he had spoken with her very little it seemed, but he knew her well enough. Ultima grabbed Ava's gun from the ground and placed it in his lap and moved closer to his friend. "Kasumi..." He began , then paused. He wondered if she could hear him. "Kasumi?" he said again. Hoping she was still conscious.

Ultima looked at his situation, he was a cripple with a bloody unconscious lady to take back to the doctors office. He looked at his legs... one full leg, still broken, One half of the other. Ultima was close enough as Kas slumped over and he caught her by leaving forward. Picking her up was hard at this angle but he managed and held the balled up Kas in his lap. He turned his chair slowly, slow enough so he didn't fall now that the chair was a bit heavier. Blood was everywhere as it was. Then with his free arm he pushed forward, hardly going anywhere. Still again he pushed forward and caught some real ground and started moving again. He had to keep switching arms to go straight, to make his way back to the hospital.

Ava's body would be left for the forest for now. maybe he would deal with it later.

Ultima cursed his weak condition, his broken leg. The going was slow through the forest. Rias had left and was nowhere to be seen when he needed her the most. Ultima kept going, one arm, then the other. He heard Kasumi's breathing, he knew her state was worsening. "Hold on Kasumi, I can't help you like this. Hold on a bit longer." Before him he thought he saw the beginning of the hospital before him, but there were trees in the way, he couldn't be sure.

Rapine felt....high. Higher than the birds, higher than heaven. Freedom was delicious. Rapine wasn't upset that it had been held in captivity, but grateful to be free. What was more, it knew it's followers would be with it soon.

Desiree come out of the trees close by, bowing her head and taking her place beside her brother. Eager to serve her Mistress any way she could.

Desiree looked at her Mistress and smiled. "It shall be done, Mistress." she said with her sultry voice. She was eager for many things, one of which was the conversion of this violent clan.
