I am working towards forgetting her, though... I am maturing my dress-style to an age closer to my own because I dressed like a teenager when I was with her because she wanted me to dress that way.

3nodding Its a good idea to sort of distance yourself a bit from the memories at least as much as you feel comfortable doing.

I guess JJ is off partying and I've been catching up on sleep today. How ya doin' giesta? Do you have the weekend off? Now that I'm caught up on sleep I'm going to plant (indoors) some of the seeds I bought at Walmart recently. I can't wait to have fresh basil an parsley again.

He most likely is partying. ^8^
Pretty good, on my first day of my weekend off today, so far slept in a bit and got some game playing in on my old PS2.
^87^ Basil & Parsely makes me think of soups and garnishes on foods. 3nodding

Fresh basil is good in salads as one of the greens. Not too much, or all you taste is basil. The only thing stronger than basil is garlic.

I managed to do a little bit of partying. I met one or two new friends while at this party. I found them to be rather productive for the most part. Now, I am back and ready to hang out.
Anyway... I tend to stay away from basil for the most part because I prefer the subtler flavors in life. Subtlety within flavors make it easier to create marvelous creations. (Of course, there are those times when basil and garlic are absolutely required. Garlic and basil are major requirements in marinara sauces in my opinion.)

Sounds like the party was fun.
Do you have any vegetarian recipes you'd care to share? I'm always looking for new ideas in the kitchen.
In case you're curious, I haven't eaten any animal flesh for many years. It's both a health and an ethical decision for me. What anybody else does is entirely up to them.

Harvey_Kinkle Sounds like the party was fun. Do you have any vegetarian recipes you'd care to share? I'm always looking for new ideas in the kitchen. In case you're curious, I haven't eaten any animal flesh for many years. It's both a health and an ethical decision for me. What anybody else does is entirely up to them. I do not have any recipes for anything other than a homemade red velvet cake. I hardly ever use recipes for anything. My best advice for anyone who has a need for a recipe is to look at what you have in the fridge and in the cabinets and run with that. I am by no means a vegetarian, but I would be one if my brother didn't cook dinner for the family. I have this rule against touching raw meat period. (There are many odd rules that I have which other people wouldn't understand.)

Sorry Im so late getting the poll up. I woke up with a monster headache. I had to go back to bed twice to get rid of it. Now I'm soooo behind. Tomorrow I'll need roller skates to get it all done.
I sent all 3 of you requests to vote in the pairs avi contest. Just to clarify, I'm just looking for you to vote for your true favorite. I just think the avis are so awesome they deserve recognition and appreciation.
