Fox stands up, "It's my vision, it's my life, it's my problem. It's not worth throwing away all the good I could do here to go searching for a needle in a haystack."

Arrow shakes his head. "That's not waht I was suggesting doing." he says bitterly. "I wasn't planning on running off to find someone, I was planning on contacting and seeing if there was a possibility, or seeing if someone had handled something like this before. Fox, I care about you. I know that you feel useless right now, and I know you won't be yourself at all until we can fix this."

"And what you're not understanding is that we'll honestly probably never be able to fix this. And I'll be like this for... for as long as I live."

"You're making it sound like it's not even worth trying." Arrow replies. "But it's worth it to me."

"It probably isn't worth trying." Fox replies, and sits down defeatedly on the bed.

Arrow looks away angrilly. "It is worth it." he says. "I don't care what you say to me because I know, even if there's only one person in this world that can help, I will find that person."

Arrow goes for a walk, and a smoke. He's just oustide the house when he feels a wave of pain spark across his back. He cries out, and falls to the ground. It feels exactly the same as it had the last time. It feels like the Change cat is ripping his flesh again, burning away at the muscle and ripping him apart.

Once he's done crying, Fox wants to do what he always does when he's upset: obsessively clean. Except he can;t see. He gets Lyr to sit on his shoulder and looks through the bird's eyes as he cleans.

Eventually, the pain gets to be too much, and Arrow passes out.

Looking through the hawk's eyes for too long makes Fox dizzy though. He stops doing so, and sits down on the sofa. Since he's not cleaning anymore, he starts crying again, petting Lyr for some kind of comfort.

Eventually, it's really bloody late, and NightArrow still hasn't come home. Fox knew he'd made Arrow upset, afterall, the scout had stormed off, but he had no idea he'd made him that upset. The Adept felt guilty, because Arrow was just trying to help him get better, and make him feel better, and now Fox'd messed that up even.
He goes to the kitchen and makes an absolutely mess making tea biscuits.
