Old Man KB If you're paying more attention to the background then the words you're reading... well... that's your own problem. whee I'm paying more attention to the graphics because that's the draw for people coming to a site in the first place. For example, I bet you never noticed this, but look at the shadow under the post, as if it's trying to make it appear "off" the page. It's a half-assed design. It hardly makes a difference. They need to take a page from the Windows design bible of its recent iterations and use it to make pages easier on the eyes and more fun to be in. There's a way to do this. It requires Flash technology which already exists. They're experimenting with it with our avatars right now, so it's a "start."

I barely pay attention to avatars... only when people have "signature" avatars, so I can easily tell who they are just by skimming past their name and the graphic.
As for the "shadows" I've never even noticed. It really doesn't bother me, because I've been on this site for like... 7 years. The changes are easily overlooked to me because I've been here for so long.
That, and I pay more attention to the text then anything around it. It's a forum, it's a medium. It's just like the first time you watch widescreen, the black bars on the top and bottom bother you... but then after awhile you don't even notice them anymore. Same thing with Gaia and all its graphics.
Especially stupid things like the post shadow, which, I'm sure 99% of people don't notice/care about.

Is Toy Story 3 good?
I'd like to go see the movie but I feel like I just wanna see it to get nostalgic as hell, which I might hate cause being an adult sucks and I don't want to be reminded of it.

C. Fox Is Toy Story 3 good? I'd like to go see the movie but I feel like I just wanna see it to get nostalgic as hell, which I might hate cause being an adult sucks and I don't want to be reminded of it. I went and saw it. It's definitely not a disappointment. I was afraid when I payed for the ticket, cause I grew up with those movies, and I didn't want to see it shamed like Disney normally does.

wakfu is boss, and vin gets points for knowing about it. i saw an ep of the series they made, and while the plot is nothing mindblowing [though it's decent, didn't make me frown at all], the animation and music are what got me. the character models/art style is really good.
i played dofus for like... a week, though. there wasn't enough to really hook me, though it was a nice trial.

It runs javascripts on the page you visit, considering this, you can alter the background ^-^
