Then a friend of yours comes along and joins the conversation. He becomes more reluctant to speak and/or less interested.
This sign is usually more obvious when the third party is also male but can also happen if the third party is Female if he is Shy or just doesn't like people invading his "one on one" time.
It's a classic but not a very sought out clue.
