"Well, mostly what I was saying that one night. How everyone's already got their relationships with everyone else, and I don't have one with anyone here. And I just suck at building those really. I end up just pushing everyone away usually......"
She trailed off, wishing she hadn't said the last part.

"We're a resilient bunch." He said, winking. "I assure, the only way to push one of us off once we deem you friend is to kill us. Or try to." He made his way into the kitchen, nodding for her to follow. "And we deem you friend, Eli."

"YAAAAOOOUUUUU UU!!!!!"
Kaimen shouted slamming down at the side of the dojo with a kick furnished in a few flames and steel. Rising from teh dust and the large explosion type sound Kaimen waved a few particles from his face, observed the crater and said,
"Not hot enough yet, no where close to tsuchi mamga."
Taking down a few notes he did this again.

She followed him to the kitchen, staying silent. She didn't know how to reply. Sure they'd been friendly enough, but she still didn't feel like their friend, and you can't just say that to people without them feeling hurt, or without guilting them into acting differently, and she didn't want to do that.

He froze, then looked around as the earth shook. He knew that scream, and he knew what the following explosion meant.
~What are you doing, Kaimen?~ He began to make tea.

She jumped, and let out a little squeak at the sound and the shaking that accompanied it.
"What was that?"

Nyl was startled awake by a loud scream. She fell off the couch, landing on her stomach on the floor. She made no move to get up, though - she really wouldn't mind staying there.
((And Fen, there are so many scenes with just Seph and I because we are the only ones who stay up past like 2. The rest of you silly sleepy people go to bed. So it's just us, and we happen to be insane enough to still be up.))

Seph sighed some, assuming Kaimen was done for the night. He sighed some and shook his head, beginning a mug of hot cocoa for Eli, too.

You'll need to slip this on, Fen, unless you want your clothes to get wet.

Fenris took the suit, then looked to Motoko and Neko, and soon back at the suit. She was wondering if she meant 'get changed right her,' or something. It would be a tad weird for Neko to get excited right now over that.

His ear perked up some, then he sighed helplessly.
"Who knows, Eli. Kaimen does his own thing, I've given up." He turned and handed her a mug of hot cocoa, letting the kettle sit on the stove and heat up itself. "I'm going to teach you thought-communication next." He said, grinning. "I'll be back before you can say 'Mindlink'" He disappeared, reappearing at the bathroom door, knocking. "Are you okay, Nyl?"
