Rei nuzzled into bakuras neck and soon was fast asleep.

Bakura lay awake for a while, listening to Rei next to him and just staring up at the ceiling. This was so odd. It didn't seem like it should be happening at all. He fell asleep without even knowing it.

Aftera while both kek and femi thought there parents wrre alee. They wandered in and curled up to both of them and fell asleep.

In the morning bakura would find rei wasent in the bedroom. Only the two children were with him. When he opened the door to the bedroom thewonderful smell of cooked meat would fill the room. Rei was making breakfast.

Bakura woke slowly, blinking at the light outside. Two small strangers were sleeping with him, and it took him a little bit to remember. His children. They were at the oasis. He was alive. He sat up, realizing with alarm that Rei wasn't there. Atem was pacing furiously in his room. After Seto and the other two had woken him up, he had been unable to sleep for the rest of the night. How could he? There was too much to think about. Seto, for starters. His priest had lost his memory. What would happen to him? Would he ever accept who he was, or would he be that confused bumbling idiot from now on? More importantly, there were two dead people now running around.
Ayira and Bakura's deaths had been fairly public; enough people had seen them die to be alarmed when they saw them alive. It wasn't even as though Ayira and Bakura could blend in with the population. Word would get out, and then somebody would find out what had been done. Atem had taken a look at the book Seto had supposedly used, and there was no denying that it was a black magic book. He would have to punish Seto for that, but how could he do it if Seto didn't even know what he had done?

When bakura sat up femi yawned and streached. She opened her eyes and smiled sweetly "Monin daddy!" she said and got to her feet. She then nudged kek "Brother wakie wakie!"
Nanu let out a small groan as she woke. She placedher hand on her stomach before opening her eyes "atem...what are you doing?"

Bakura watching Femi with an odd kind of fascination. She was speaking better. Last he had known, all the kids had really done was parrot what other people said. They were still fairly unknown to him, though. Strangers. "Thinking." Atem muttered, slowing in his pacing for a moment. "I don't know what to do about Seto. He's an idiot. But I can't even get mad at him." The more Atem though about this entire thing, the more frustrated he became.

Nanu sighed "Hun relax...I'll have to go to the womens section tommorow. Why dont we just spend the day togther?"
Kek groaned as hewoke rubbing his little eyes. "hunngeerryyy" he moaned. Femi giggled and took bakura by the hand. her small hand wrapedaround one of his fingers "up daddy up!"

"He could have at least told me what he was planning..." Atem grumbled, but went over to Nanu. He was just slightly irritated with her at allowing the thief to leave, but would never voice this irritation. "What would you like to do today?" Bakura sat completely still for a moment, trying to figure out the correct response to this little kid. "You're not the boss of me." He said, sticking his tongue out at Femi. "I'll get up when I want to."

Femi pouted and stuck her tounge back out at her father "Me say up!You up!" Rei who had just entered to the room chuckled "I hate to say it hun but if you want to eat ya do have to get up..."
"As long as im with you im happy" nanu said. Although her stomach thought diffrently. It growled and she giggled "Mabye breakfast?"

"Ill go get you some." Atem said cheerfully, hopping up to his feet. Even if he hadn't gotten much sleep last night, it didn't show. He bounded out of he room, eager to please his wife. Bakura looked up at Rei, smiling slightly. It had been a long time since he was actually aware of being hungry. "I know. But can't I get some peace and quiet for a few minutes?" {-THESE HUMANS... THEY ARE A RATHER UNGRATEFUL LOT, DON'T YOU AGREE?-} The gods were grumbling off in the desert somewhere, unheard by human ears.
{-QUITE. WE WORK MIRACLES, REVIVE THEIR DEAD, AND THEY OFFER NOT EVEN ONE WORD OF THANKS TO US. I SAY WE TAKE OUR GIFT BACK. THEY CLEARLY DIDN'T APPRECIATE IT.-} Chuckled another god, its voice sounding slightly feminine.

Rei smiled "Alright you two out of the room." "awww" they wined but left. Rei had been up since the sun rose. She had been thinking alot about bakura. She might not have voiced it but in the inside she had thank the gods over and over agian. She wasent sure how she was going to make it without bakura.
Ayira had woke up early,grabed a cloack and headed out. She hadwanted to find the correct temple. She did not know to much about the egyptian gods.

Bakura was quiet as they left. He closed his eyes, leaning his head back. After a few minutes, he got up and got out of the room. "So what'd you make for breakfast?" {-IT WOULD BE FUN, WOULD IT NOT, TO BRING BACK THE ONE WHO HAD CAUSED THIS?-} Purred the feminine voice, still chuckling to herself. {-THE TOMB GUARDIAN. WITH THE YELLOW HAIR. IT WOULD BE FUN TO MESS WITH THEIR MINDS A LITTLE BIT IN THAT MANNER.-}

"Meat,eggs,bread,fruit..." Rei said. The children had sat down on pillows and were waiting for there mother to bring out the food from the kicthen into the eating area. Rei went into the kicthen and brought out a platter of cook meat. She was also carring a plate of eggs. Setting them down she went back and brought out a bowl of fruit and a load of warm bread. There was a bit more food then normal. Bakura being a grown man would eat more and this was rei's way of celebrating.
