Hayate casually side stepped out the way of Fred as he fell towards him "Big cactuars like to do that sort of thing since they can't do that much beyond the needles. On a lighter note, they are at their most vulnerable when self righting" he told the group cheerfully.

Felina nodded taking into account the new information. She fired a series of arrows into the the chest of Fred before dashing over to Mari "Are you sure you're going to be ok?" she asked slightly concerned.

Satoshi teleported above Fred's head slicing downwards into his arm slicing the end of it off. Water began to gust out of where the arm was dripping directly onto her. "Apparently that wasn't enough" she groaned asnthe cactuar reained standing.

Hebal grinned jumping up towards Fred, slicing his other arm off "Easy. through lots of practice. But I still can't help but feel sad, once upon a time I would play with these little guys" she sighed as the water dripped down her ears.

Seph rolled her eyes at Oassu and Hebal "If it bothers you that much we could always make his death real quick and save him a lot of pain and suffering. Now give me a lift up" she added instructing Alpha.

"Don't you go bossing me about" Alpha grunted picking up Seph and tossing her into the air to finish off the cactuar. He the took several steps back as what remained of Fred fell to the ground in order to avoid being hit by the water gushing out accross the corridor.

Itaka sighed "Let's just go I'm sicka looking at this thing," he said turning and looking down the corridor where the one cactuar that had summoned Fred trembled. "Besides Satoshi I hear the needles of the giant ones are worth some gil." he told her.

Zadina looked down at the lonely scared cactuar down the end of the corridor "We don't have to kill everyone of them....do we?" he asked as he cast a sleep spell on the little cactuar "I mean its asleep and everything, theres no threat!" he said

Oassu went over and hugged Felina and sighed "Yeah it was the same with Princess...its like they're pets or something so I kinda feel bad about it he sighed"

Mari giggled as the water splashed down on Hebal "Don't feel bad about it, Neliel probably trained them to target you as well now, you had no choice" she said handing her a towel she had in her bag. She turned and whistled to Sophia who slowly began floating over to them.

Satoshi finished pulling the needles out of her hand then examined them. "Hmmm..... I suppose these are sharp and small enough to use as a throwing weapon" she muttered beginning to pull a bunch of needles out the cactuar. She threw a couple at the sleeping cactuar "Not bad" she grinned as the catuar fell into the sand.

Felina covered Cid's eyes as the cactuar died then glared as hard as she could at Satoshi. "There was no need to kill that one. It was no harm to us while sleeping" she scolded the ninja before hugging Oassu back.

Hayate sighed putting his weapon away and headed down the corridor after Alpha. "And you called me sadistic" he whispered to Oassu as he walked passt. "You could probably get about 2000 each for the larger ones" he told the demon upon catching up.

Seph sighed disappointedly turning away from Satoshi "That just wasn't cool. You've got to stop doing stuff like that, you're giving the rest of us a bad name" she scolded tossing a nut to the cactuar for it to eat.

Alpha made a grunting noise and mumbled to himself something about ninjas before turning to Hayate "Thats not a bad price for what they are and as somebody just showed us we could use them as weapons" he grumbled back.

Hebal gave Satoshi a concerned look for a second before looking away shaking her head "Lets just wrap this mission up and take care of Neliel, so follow me" she told the group trying to stay calm as she passed Alpha and Hayate to go in front

Zadina sighed "By the time it's woken up we'll be off this floor probably, but no matter now it's all ok!" he said brightly.

Itaka shrugged glancing back to see the Cactuar peeking out at the nut he nudged Seph and pointed to the Cactuar which jumped out and munched down the nut "Heh cute ain't it, I hope its not the last one" he said walking on.

Oassu hugged Felina "Yeah once this is over we'll take some serious R+R and have some fun" he said snuggling her nose.

Mari raised an eyebrow at Hebal's panic "Whats the matter Hebal? Are we close to Neliel now?" she asked.

Felina smiled stroking Oassu's cheek "I know we can have some R+R later but lets just focus on getting this job sone well" she told him quickening her pace to catch up with the others. She tapped Hebal on the shoulder "Are you sure thats all thats worrying you? You still look tense"

Hayate raised his eyebrow as the cactuar cautiously approached Seph eating away at the second nut. "Is it just me or is Seph really good with animals?" he asked Alpha and Mari scratching his chin.

Satoshi glanced over at the cactuar causing it to back away in fright. She sighed looking away. "The cactuars fine so just leave it be" she muttered under her breath as she continued to walk behing everyone.

"I don't know if you would have the patience to keep a pet cactuar" Seph laughed throwing one more nut by the cactuar and turned back round to follow the others down the corridor "Who do you think you're calling a lovebird? It's a bit rich coming from you" she told Oassu whacking him on the back of the head.

Alpha glanced over a little chuckling at Hayate "Shes ok with animals. But then again most creatures will like you more if you give them something good to eat. Cactuars don't have to put up with too much nature anyway" he answered.

Hebal smiled patting Zadina on the head "Sorry kid but even if we do have to go further down I'm not going to let you read that book, or anyone at that" she warned him "Told you it was top secret stuff" she added.

Elsewhere in the dungeon the elf known as Neliel crouched down, holding a book in one hand and drawing a symbol in the ground with chalk in the other hand. She stood up and muttered a few words glancing down at what was about to summon a giant fiend. Once she finished speaking the symbol began glowing a blinding green flash as a tonberry just under the size of the Corridor emerged from the light. "Go to the entrence to this floor and kill whatever you can find" she instructed to the creature.
