She whined and rolled half over onto her side, forehead leaning against the floor.
"I'm fine, I'm fine. My pride's just bruised. And my butt. More my butt than pride."
She took his hand and pulled up, carefully, wincing, blushing brightly.

Well, I can fix that...Your bruised butt, I mean. He let out a nervous laugh and squeezed her hand some as he helped her up. He smiled softly as he caught her blush, and averted his gaze to the floor, letting his hair fall before his face so all she could see was his lower lip. I...like your outfit. he added, glad the blush he emitted was concealed behind his shaggy green locks.

She looked up, wide-eyed, tilting her head lightly. "My . . . . ah, my other clothes are wet." She paused, fidgeting a little, leaning back against the bar. "Would you have touch it? I mean, to fix it?" Asking made her blush deeper, and wish she hadn't asked at all.

Her question made him blush as well, and he looked to her with wide eyes a moment before shaking his head. No. No...no. No. I...No. he let out another nervous laugh and shook his head again. I can heal you without even touching you, actually...he offered, glancing to the hand he still held.

She blinked, looking to see what he was looking at and jerked her hand back to fix her hair, as if it had been too close to a venemous snake.
"That would be great," she said, too quickly and too loudly, but kindly, "Thank you, Shinji-chan."

Shinji winced as Ophelia snatched her hand back, but nodded and took a deep breath, letting his energies envelope the girl as he exhaled, pulling any and all hurt she'd aquired since stepping into the club. He swallowed and nodded to her, a silent gesture to let her know he'd finished, and offered a smile. Feel better? he asked, his voice a little raspy as he hadn't used his powers in who knows how long.

She frowned heavily. She did feel better, but she could tell it had take a toll on him helping her, if not much of one.
"I'm sorry, I should have dealt with it and gotten over it. I didn't realize it would hurt you."
She paused for a long time, thinking heavily, eyes glazing over a little with it.

No, 'phelia...It's nothing. Really. It's what I...was...created to do. He admitted, blushing. I'm just not used to using it anymore, as I don't...well...I don't really go out anymore. He offered a smile to assure her he was telling her the honest truth.

She didn't seem more than a little effected by his smile, but she did move, finally, after a moment of his smile. She moved forward, abrupty, hugging him tightly, pressing her face into his shoulder.
"How did we screw up our friendship so badly? How did we let things get so wierd? I've missed you so much, and there's been a million things I wanted to tell you, but thigs are so bizarre . . . ."

Ophelia's embrace made Shinji's eyes widen, after a moment he relaxed some and wrapped his arms around her as well. I have no idea....he murmured, silently wishing never to let her go. Things are pretty strange now, aren't they? he offered, nudging his head to hers just barely. He smiled softly and kissed her cheek before continuing with You know you can tell me anything at any time. If you need someone to talk to, and you can't turn to Saber...Well, you can always turn to me. He wasn't sure she'd ever really take him up on the offer, but he was going to give it to her anyways. As he had before, and would continue to.

She nodded, nuzzling into his shoulder gently, sighing, happily.
"You know it's the same here. If you can't talk to Lena about something. Or you need to talk to someone about Lena . . . . . there's something going on, isn't there? I mean, somethings's on your mind, isn't it?"

For a moment, Shinji'd forgotten that Ophelia could read people. He let out a nervous laugh and sort of nodded. Actually, yes...But, then again, there's always something on my mind. He knew it was a rather lame attempt to convince her she wasn't the one consuming his thoughts, but it was, to be honest, all he could think to say.

She shook her head, firmly, taking his hand.
"No, don't do that to me. Not anymore. You were my first friend here. It's time to start being real friends, and be honest."
She clamped down on his hand and slipped past him, dragging him behind her to on of the couches and sitting him, more than a little bit roughly, down, and sitting behind him, cross-leeged. She pulled him back a little to rub his temples.
"Now, relax and spill it. I want to help."

Shinji sighed as he relaxed under Ophelia's massaging fingers. He blushed still, slightly unsure if he should tell her what was on his mind but decided that she was right, it was time to be like real friends. Well...I'm not sure where to start, but...For a while now I've been feeling distant. A little closed when it comes to Lena and I. he shook his head just barely noticably and frowned some, his face barely shifting into an almost pout. I find myself slipping more and more from the general Underground public. His words sounded foolish, even to himself. He wasn't sure how Ophelia would respond, but he pressed his lips together and let himself get lost for the moment in her soothing motions at his temples.

She smiled lightly, tilting her head as she kneaded her fingertips into his temples tenderly.
"That isn't so bad. It jsut means you need some time apart. Maybe a little, maybe a lot. Besides, you need to get out and spend time with people. The more relationships you have with people, the better equipped you are for the most intimate relationships you have, no?"
