Duellist Bertram's eyes glinted sharply in the weak light, as if he was seeing the world differently. "Yeah... spooky." The pair of them walked into the forest, Bertram holding her hand. In his terror, he had let his control lapse, and his palm was now chilly. He hadn't noticed, though, too busy keeping a close look-out for anything dangerous. Normally, he wouldn't dream of being in these forests... but if Ikue could be brave, he could pretend to be for her sake. The forest's nighttime orchestra could be heard, with the chirping of the crickets, the owl hooting every once and a while, and some other night critters. She pointed the flashlight in different directions, looking for anything interesting.. Ikue felt Bertram's palm turn cold as ice, causing her to lose her grip on his hand for a moment. "Your hand's cold." She then took hold of his hand again, squeezing it gently. Suddenly, Ikue heard a russle in the bushes nearby, flashing her flashlight onto that area. A rabbit soon hopped out, its beady brown eyes staring at the two. "Oh.. it's only a rabbit."

Beh Bear The forest's nighttime orchestra could be heard, with the chirping of the crickets, the owl hooting every once and a while, and some other night critters. She pointed the flashlight in different directions, looking for anything interesting.. Ikue felt Bertram's palm turn cold as ice, causing her to lose her grip on his hand for a moment. "Your hand's cold." She then took hold of his hand again, squeezing it gently. Suddenly, Ikue heard a russle in the bushes nearby, flashing her flashlight onto that area. A rabbit soon hopped out, its beady brown eyes staring at the two. "Oh.. it's only a rabbit." Bertram blushed. "Oh, I'm sorry..." he concentrated, and his hand warmed up again. The boy looked at the rabbit. "It's cute..." he said, non-commitally. Then a howl went up again, closer this time. "eek..." He looked around quickly, before relaxing. "Um... so, I presume we're looking for evil spirits for you to practice on?"

Duellist Bertram blushed. "Oh, I'm sorry..." he concentrated, and his hand warmed up again. The boy looked at the rabbit. "It's cute..." he said, non-commitally. Then a howl went up again, closer this time. "eek..." He looked around quickly, before relaxing. "Um... so, I presume we're looking for evil spirits for you to practice on?" "Mmhm.." Ikue heard that howl again, and then she remembered something. "When wolves howl at a full moon they reflect the dark or sinister force of the moon.. There should be a bunch of evil spirits roaming around here, especially when a full moon's out, but I cannot seem to detect any." The medium let out a small sigh, pointing her flashlight at random things once again.

Beh Bear "Mmhm.." Ikue heard that howl again, and then she remembered something. "When wolves howl at a full moon they reflect the dark or sinister force of the moon.. There should be a bunch of evil spirits roaming around here, especially when a full moon's out, but I cannot seem to detect any." The medium let out a small sigh, pointing her flashlight at random things once again. "It could be they're just scared..." Bertram said, staring straight ahead as she started to look behind them, searching for evil spirits. "Ah... ah... Ikue?" He squeazed her hand. A very large wolf was standing on the path directly in front of them, an evil and intelligent glint in its eyes. "Um... you wouldn't be able to do anything about that, would you..."

Duellist "It could be they're just scared..." Bertram said, staring straight ahead as she started to look behind them, searching for evil spirits. "Ah... ah... Ikue?" He squeazed her hand. A very large wolf was standing on the path directly in front of them, an evil and intelligent glint in its eyes. "Um... you wouldn't be able to do anything about that, would you..." "Huh?" Ikue turned around to see the wolf, larger than an average-sized male adult wolf. She pointed her flashlight to get a better look at it. The girl froze, her eyes widening slightly. "Well... unfortunately, I don't have a pistol loaded with silver bullets.. and I'm not sure if holy water--" Ikue's sentence was cut off once the wolf leapt into the air, preparing to pounce on the wraith. The girl let out a gasp, immediately pushing Bertram out of the wolf's way, no time for saying 'Watch out!' Ikue could feel the wolf's claws pierce into her shoulders once the creature reached her. The next thing she knew, Ikue was on the ground. The wolf has pounced on her, staring at his prey with hungry eyes with its teeth beared. The girl turned her head to the side, her eyes tightly shut. Before the werewolf can even take a bite ouf of his dinner, two will-o'-wisps appeared out of thin air, floating rapidly around the wolf's head to distract it..

There was a flash, and a clawed arm fell to the ground. Bertram spun his scythe in his hand, coldly eying the creature. His aura was now incredibly dark, filled with hatred. It was with a certain surprise that he was sent flying into a tree with the other arm. Ouch... Bertram rubbed the back of his cowl with a bony hand, temporarily out of it. The will-o-wisps started to dart around once more.

Duellist Bertram snapped his fingers, and his scythe appeared in his hands. Clutching it, he whispered some words. Transform! The wraith's aura suddenluy spasmed and pulled within him, and there was a flash of darkness. Then a cloaked figure, a figure that looked almost exactly like the traditional Grim Reaper (only with two glowing coal eyes in the place of a skull, and no feet), swept forward, spinning its scythe viciously. There was a flash, and a clawed arm fell to the ground. Bertram spun his scythe in his hand, coldly eying the creature. His aura was now incredibly dark, filled with hatred. It was with a certain surprise that he was sent flying into a tree with the other arm. Ouch... Bertram rubbed the back of his cowl with a bony hand, temporarily out of it. Duellist The Wraith picked itself up, one bony arm hanging uselessly. It was snapped back into place, and then its owner shrieked, black wings unfurling from the back of it robe. The free hand reached out and touched a tree, which froze and crumbled. "Ikue... what are you doing with those will-o-wisps?" Not waiting for an answer, its wings lifted it up off the ground, beating heavily. The werewolf fell over onto its side, unable to bear with the pain in its shoulder, now lacking an arm.. Ikue coughed a bit, pushing herself up slowly using her arms. She stared at the shadowy figure, not knowing that it is really Bertram, until she heard his voice. Ikue looked a bit frightened. "I...I don't know.. they just appeared out of no where..." The girl then managed to get up onto her feet, trembling slightly.

Beh Bear The werewolf fell over onto its side, unable to bear with the pain in its shoulder, now lacking an arm.. Ikue coughed a bit, pushing herself up slowly using her arms. She stared at the shadowy figure, not knowing that it is really Bertram, until she heard his voice. Ikue looked a bit frightened. "I...I don't know.. they just appeared out of no where..." The girl then managed to get up onto her feet, trembling slightly. Bertram swopped forward, and pushed into the werewolf, sending it flying. "I'll be along as soon as I can..." The wolf howled, clawing at the Wraith's robe. Then a cold burst of numbness travelled up its spine, as the Wraith grabbed its remaining arm in an icy hold. Numbness became pain, and pain became... nothing. Just a feeling of nothing. The arm was gone.
