Ryou gazed serenly at Kira for a moment, a thoughtful look dawning on his face for a moment, then he realized that she was talking about from the store. He shook his head softly. "Not really."

"Alright" kira said grabbing a basket and heading in with ryou.Her eyes serched over the bakery section.She couldent help it if she had a sweet tooth.

As Ryou gazed blankly around, Khalid gaze the various foods a wistful gaze. "Do cookies still taste good...?"

"as long as there not diet or with that fake sugar crap there good." kira stoped at a row of pasterys.Ryou had gotten her addicted to creamcuffs.grabing two large fresh boxes of them and put them in her basket contining to walk.

Khalid moved over to Ryou for a moment, waving a hand across the boy's face. No reaction, of course. "I bet even if I was solid he wouldn't do anything..." Khalid grumbled, then overlapped his hand with Ryou's. An icy blast went up the boy's arm, and he cried out loudly in shock and jumped backwards, hitting a rack of bread loaves. It wobbled, then crashed to the ground loudly, Ryou tripping over his own feet on top of it. Khalid doubled over laughing.

Kira jumped herself she yelled forming a mind link with him.She hurriedly drop the basketand went over helping ryou up "Are you ok ryou?" she asked.

When Kira tried to make a mind link with Khalid, however, a very painful shock was fired at her. She would see a flashing light that was bright enough to blind her for a couple of days. Since this was something done through their minds, even if Kira closed her eyes she wouldn't be able to avoid seeing the bright light. "Heh... You really expect to be able to form a mind link with a higher being such as myself?" Khalid sneered.

Kira growled rubbing her eyes "well I had no problem doing it before its not going to kill me to try....ahh ******** blind agian..." she sighed loudly rubbing her eyes. "hey ryou you ok?" she said once agian still rubbing her eyes.

"Y-yeah..." Ryou mumbled, shakily getting up. He blinked slightly when she rubbed her eye. "What do you mean, blind? What's the matter?"

"I tried to make a mind link with khalid not really thinking.Now all I see is this blinding white" she sighed and stoped rubbing her eye.She then rubbed her hands "For some reson I cant feel my fingers eather..there all numb.."

"You cold?" Ryou asked, and started to hold Kira's hand, when a store employee came up. He started to rant about how they would have to pay for the bread and all.

Kira sighed.She smiled when ryou held her hand.She gently reached into her pocket and grabed a handful of bills.She dident know what they were but she dident care "here now go away" she told the store employee.The store employee grabed the money and left.It was a few hundred dollars. Kira smiled "Well there goes shoping..cant see a damn thing.."

"Okay..." Ryou picked up the basket, and then took a hold of Kira's hand and started to lead the way.
"I could have taken control of Ryou just then..." Khalid muttered. "When out hands overlapped, I was able to move the fingers, but he pulled away too quickly. What do you think would happen if I stepped inside his whole body?"
