And, as usual, Hinote makes the better explanation than me sweatdrop .
Neru, the mountains are basically booby-trapped with random dangers to keep people from reaching the top. For example, Mistah's mountain has you face your dark sides and Aoi's mountain has you face a bunch of monsters that are threatening a younger version of you. What's at the top? I have no clue but it's fun to rp.

Hinote Tosatsu Because monkeys live on mountains. Duh. I thought they lived in forests... Hmmmm... I wonder, how would those monsters fare against a younger less level headed version of a Naga? heh... I think I'm going mountain climbing to see little me rip out some throats...

Those "monsters" are your character's worst of fears. So, because of this, these "monsters" vary with each person. for instance; with ken and Raiden's trip to the mountain; their worst fears played a part in it: Ken, lost his senses; and Raiden had to face giant spiders.

Well, if they're Sora's worst fears, then Sora would be facing a bunch of Rokubi-versions of herself... which probably isn't going to be easy....

Ah~ I see >.< Maybe the test for Sora is to control the 8-year old version on the mountain that went in Rokubi mode. *ponders*
there are only duplicates when the fear is a type of beast; not if it was a person, or a demon (in both Aoi's and Sora's case.) And having more than one fear makes the mountain fun twisted
and you dont get a bad ending if you lose, either... just get KOed and dream about past memories about people you knew, tis all.

Hmmm... What would David face? He honestly has no fears whatsoever. Would he just be able to walk straight to the top, or would he end up facing a being of pure nothingness?

Let's see here, if we put together all of Sora's fears. Some of the major ones being herself going into Rokubi mode, having to fight Aoi, having to fight her dark side, having to do anything that might have an impact, stealing, losing the people she loves (which definitely includes her family), seeing Kumo destroyed, and pretty much anything else that can count as a fear.... Wow, Aoi, I think you're going to have a lot of fun XD .

Hinote Tosatsu Hmmm... What would David face? He honestly has no fears whatsoever. Would he just be able to walk straight to the top, or would he end up facing a being of pure nothingness? Rather than face something he fears, hewould face something completely and utterly evil. And to david, he is the most evil thing ever, so the only thing that would be able to personify davids evilness would be.......well..........him.

I'm not sure if my character fears anything... Maybe seeing the Cathedral get trashed, but that would just piss him off more than anything. after all, he has to dedicate his entire life to cleaning that thing. and he actually enjoys it.

Hmmm... lately there would be alot of people without fears.... Hmmm.... What should I do about that.... Well, indirect fears just deal with shadow mobs, so you still need to save your character's mini-character. for instance; Yo had to go up to the mountain; and since his fear was not to be able to protect the people he cares about (AKA indirect) I just made weird shadow mobs to attack the mini-verison.
and you cant waltz up without doing the test...... you'll get thrown back down by a "mysterious force".
and judging by that, the shadow-mob scenario will have to be David's test... and since Neru cares about the cathedral; well..... a dupilcate of it will be set on fire, with Mini-Neru's character inside.
And Kage's .... well, I need to think more about how her test is going to be set up as....

Heh, I'd more have someone trashing it and destroying it, otherwise Sonji is going to run around looking for people who could have lit it on fire and trying to kill them... He'd probably actually end up losing it and killing the mini version of himself...

Hmm... Shadow mob attacking Mini-David? I dunno, Mini might kill them all himself, making it pointless. Unless you went with a version of him from before he got the Ichibi, but then he still might kill them. David was never really one to back down from much of anything.
