 A...a....a...policeofficer?! Riza gulped, hoping she hadn't done anything wrong at any point. She didn't want to be arrested!
"That sounds like an...interesting job! But that's horrible how you can't take naps and stuff! But I guess if you like what you're doing, I guess it wouldn't matter much," Riza said.
She added after thinking about it for a second, "Are you on this trip to....like....keep everyone in line or something then? Or just joined like a trainer for the sake of having something to do?"
It was a bit weird that they'd have an officer. Well, ok, so it was a good idea to have one, but why exactly would you need one?
She mentally smacked herself for that, remembering all the stuff that had happened so far. Of course they needed an officer!

 They were laughing at her. The Rockets were all gathered in front of a cavern wall covered in fossils and crystals, and they were laughing at her. Fin sat on the ground, as if she'd fallen there. Caddie was nowhere to be seen. The head Rocket stepped forward as the others continued laughing, and he held up a glowing green crystal. "I choose you!" he shouted. The crystal flashed. The wall behind the Rockets shuddered, then fell, revealing… a gigantic Pikachu.
"Nooooo!" Fin yelled as a huge yellow foot came down at her.
Fin sat up with a gasp, panting. What a nightmare… But then she chuckled a little. It seemed quite silly, now. Then again, what the Rockets really had planned was surely a lot worse. The trainer clenched her fists around the edges of her sleeping bag. They'd stop Team Rocket. They had to.

 Yet again, LizDuck had slept in the wagon. And yet again, when she woke up, her face seemed to scream "I want a hotel NOW!" Unfortunately, such an accommodation would probably not be possible until she went back to Katarina Town.
Seeming a bit groggy, she began to dig around in her bag for something to eat. Her fingers came across her package of Lava Cookies first and she pulled the packet out. Unfortunately, due to her rolling around yesterday, she managed to break most, if not all, of the cookies. Some were now just cookie dust.
Still half asleep, the girl just seemed to stare vacantly at the bag of cookies.

Lock remind quiet, still going to through several tortures he could perform on whoever shot him with the dart. He also thought about why he wanted to eat grapes...
Faraon turned his head and approached Lizduck, sniffing towards the bag before purrring for the girl, sensing her high dislike of the situation.

 Grinch was looking around for possible looting victims. Who looks like they might have some tasty goodies in their bag.
Mean while Quin gathered what he needed for him to eat and then some to bring back for the rest of the pokemon. Not much, mind you, since he could only carry so much with his small stature.
Kayla was about to be finished with morning ritual and heading back to camp where Hea and Adira still wait in silence.Quote: Who wouldn't mind Grinch looting their bag for tastey goodies? And what would be in your bag? XDD

Not being the most alert of all trainers right now, LizDuck turned at the purring sound and seemed to stare blankly at the Persian.
Her voice spoke up slightly, seeming almost in a daze as she said "...cookies are crumbly..." Lava cookies, why did you have to forsaken LizDuck?

Kira'd suffered from another sleepless night; every time she'd dozed off, she'd awake in a cold sweat from some random nightmare, most of them being about the Rockets attacking, or some blurred pokemon cackling evilly.
Finally, as the horizon lightened and dawn came, Kira got up and, Fuyuki following her, went to see what food she could cook up. She felt bad for the scientists that'd been left behind and was planning on making some extra for them.

Faraon tilted his head slightly and nuzzled against the girl, purring gently while he tried to comfort her.
Adele sat on the edge of a wagon, looking around before going to the wagon with the medical supply, grabbing a first aid kit and going off to find Kira.

Alastair hadn’t slept well the night before. No, he wasn’t worrying about Effie. He had come to a conclusion about Effie. It was vaguely sexist, but he was pretty sure most sexist comments had a grain of truth in them somewhere. Clearly, she was just PMSing. Since that wasn’t her fault, he felt he ought to forgive her bitchery, or whatever she was going through. In fact, he was just a little grateful that she hadn’t told him all about her periods. Sure, it was a perfectly natural part of a woman’s life… but, that didn’t mean it wasn’t gross. Periods, he felt, ought to stay between women and their damned ovaries.
Anyway, he was through with worrying about Effie. She was a big girl; she could take care of himself. Now he was more worried about the expedition. Again. He nibbled on a few cookies as he considered the simple facts:
They had no idea if these were actual scientists or just Rocket grunts put here to purposefully mislead the trainers. That was just the sort of thing Team Rocket would do. They wouldn’t have left all the trainers alive unless they were certain that they wouldn’t catch up with them in the cave… or, at least, they wouldn’t until it was too late to do anything.
Well, time for a bit of interrogation… Alastair hopped out of Wagon One and sauntered back over to the scientist-tree, still limping a little from his fall the night before. He settled down soon enough and simply watched, sort of like a really creepy stalker. Con followed and circled the tree a few times, eyeing the scientists warily. And a bit hungrily too… eventually, the pale houndoom returned to Alastair’s side and sat perfectly down. Just… waiting.

 Meeka awoke that morning, yawning lightly while chattering her mouth about. As she looked up, she noticed she had a nice view of the sun. How rare, but when she looked down...she noticed she was about eight feet up in a tree...dangling by the cloth of her dress. "Whhhhaaa!" she echoed. She had no idea how she got up there, but Heila and Ebba were resting peacefully under her. "H-Help me!" she cried.

"I'm not the only officer on this trip. Jackie is around here too." Piney didn't expect that kind of response from someone, but she guessed that Riza hadn't really talked to and became friends any before.
"I was here on this trip because, well, even if police work is exciting, it has its dull moments. And I thought this would be fun. Everything I do isn't for the sake of keeping justice you know.
"Though, now that Rockets are involved in this, I guess I have to bring my job into this now." She sighed, not wanting to think about what they were doing right now while she was sitting here waiting for things to pick up.

Something soft was rubbing up against her cheek. A small smile came to her lips and she uttered softly "So warm..." She gripped onto the bag of cookies for a bit, not quite knowing if she should eat them, or just move onto the next food that she had in her bag.
After a little bit, she finally realized what had been rubbing up against her cheek. "...oh...hi Faraon..."

Kira came back carefully holding some eggs and other veggies. She was planning on scrambling them up and mixing the veggies all sated up. Blinking, she saw Adele with the medic kit and gave a small smile. "Good morning Adele!" She looked incredibly tired, and even had bags under her eyes, but she was still somewhat perky.
Fuyuki watched Adele carefully, hit butt-ribbons flicking carefully.

"Oh!" Riza exclaimed, surprised there was more than one. They must be very sneeaaakkkkyyyy.....
Or she just wasn't very observant. Maybe both.
"Ahahaha," she laughed nervously, "Yeah, makes sense. Guess I've just had the stereotype image in my head of a while. Y'know, the whole action sequence and all that," Riza smiled, not really seeing Piney as the type to be in that position. It was always surprising when you found out stuff like that though She would have never guessed the trainer was an officer had she not told her.
She sank back into her solemn state at the mention of Rockets, "They were...unexpected. Do they do that a lot? Wander around at attack people? I hadn't known much about them except for stories my mum used to tell me."
