He looked up at the ceiling. For a split second, his breath could be seen, but that was just around him. The air had cooled in a bubble around Nyl. ~Does that feel any better?~

Almost instantly, she was shivering. ~It did, for a minute or two...s-something tells me that's not the answer...~ She took another sip of water and stared at the glass again, as though afraid to look at him. ~You must think I'm such a fool.~

Seph blinked some, taking the glass back into the kitchen. He came back and sat down on a couch. ~..You..are going to be alright.. right, Nyl? This isn't too serious..~ The second statement was more like a question, as if he were trying to convince himself.

~I felt bad before that. Probably expending the energy made it worse...but that can't be the cause.~ Nyl closed her eyes again against another wave of nausea, careful not to let any of it leak out of her head.

He held his hands up in front of him, keeping his center of gravity low by locking his legs behind the legs of the table. He snapped each of his fingers against his thumb, each catching fire after they snapped.
