Echo took his hand, and pulled herself to her feet. "I should heal here in at least a few hours." She thought for a moment about hugging him, but decided better of it. "Thankyou, again. I don't know where I'd be without you."

"Probably in a very deep coma or dead." He said with a smile. "But your my friend and I cant let that happen to you." He put an arm around her shoulder.

"That sounds likely, a deep coma. Well, would you like to go do something?" she asked, sounding crazy at the suggestion. *More like would you like to go do--* She stopped thinking almost instantly. *What am I thinking..? My GOD.* She grinned in spite herself.

Riona sighed and kicked a rock into a tree, scattering the smaller birds. Shrugging, she headed to her apartment to sdtart up her lil' project.

TOkeru flew in to the park. His eyes scanning everything inside of it. He was always on the lookout for new unnaturals to kill. He was also always aware of the fact that he himself was unnatural. I mean a human with wings? Well all the better to hunt vampires and demons and lycans with. Lycans can't fly. BUt vampires can.

The vampire sighed softly in the cool rain, his hands resting in his black leather jacket pockets, as usual. When he reached the fountain just ahead, he stopped and sat on it. He let the breeze flow through his damp blue hair. A slight smile curled onto Daragio's lips as he folded his arm across his chest, thinking to himself quietly.

Echo frowned and jumped into the fountain, on the opposite side of Daragio, not knowing that he was there. She kicked at the water, sending it in every direction. She herself was soaked from head to foot, even before she jumped in, but not with water. The water remaining in the fountain had turned a rather dark shade of pink. She looked down to her chest, and realized her gunshot had come open again. "Why can't it just heal already..?" Getting out of the fountain, her eyes widened as she saw Daragio. "Oh, I'm sorry.."

The vampire heard the splashes in the midst of his thoughts, but almost ignored them, as faint as he heard them. His gaze lowered into the water, seeing Echo in the fountain. He felt his nose twitch as the smell of blood came to him. He quickly pulled out a cigarette and lit it, inhaling the smoke to hide away the scent of the blood. "Its no problem at all," he said softly to her as she got out of the fountain. "Are you alright?" he asked her, no hint of emtion escaping his face or voice.

"Yeah.. I think." She answered, rather surprised at the question. Looking back down at the water, she grinned slightly. "So, who're you, anyways? I don't think I've met you before." Feeling the back of her damp hair, she looked at her hand, and it was coated with dark blood, like the rest of her. "Damn, this stuff doesn't come out.." Shrugging, she wiped it off nonchalantly on her black jeans.

His stared at the blood blankly... but then... he remembered. He had met her briefly before. She was a vampire... he could sense it by the lack of life within her. He took a long drag of his cigarette and exhaled deeply. "I'm Daragio Rahl," he said in reply. "And you are?" he asked watching her trying to rub off the blood.

"Echo.. Well, that's what I'm known as, I doubt anyone around here knows my real name." Abandoning her attempts at removing the blood, she sat down on the edge of the fountain, looking at Daragio. She could tell that he was a vampire, and grinned.

"I see," he said in repy. "Well, its a pleasure to meet you Echo," said the vampire, a slightly smile curling onto his lips. He appraised her wound from beind his dark shades. Looking back up to meet her gaze, he nodded. "So how's life treating you?" he asked her softly. "Hopefully better than it treats me..." he added.
