She lookedu p and had figured she learned everything she was going to learn here. That was quick...these basic lessons were to basic. Or maybe it was her blood that made her a bit smarter than the rest of them. She watched the shuriken thrown at Iruka and he subsituted past it. That was a clever technique. She watched the mans need to d a handseal. But other than that..if you could see the technique coming towards you..then it was easy enough to block and use. Unless the nin used Jutsou Sho... A technique that should be rather unknown since the man who created is dead. But still it felt like a lot of people had perfected it. Anyways her mind had started to wander. She held three of her own kunai in her hands. As she tossed them straight towards Shikamaru hopuing that he dodged. She would hate to be the type to lie already. She didn't want to kill him this time. But she already promsied never to kill him. She would be in pickle if she ever had to kill him. She looked at the Uuchiha. she would kill him though. She sat down in the ground and pulled out her pen and notebook and wrote herself a note to murder him eventually. She noted that the girl whose clan she couldn't tell...still... was not really a ninja. She wondered why. One day she would have to question her purpose. But not now. She put her notebook back away and sat and waited for Shikamaru to see if he was dead or not. She really didn't want to kill him. She turned her head towards Zero and her voice projected a bit. "I assure that one day I will kill you and take your eyes..when you are ripe....Okay?" She would have smiled if she had lips. But her tone was unchanged. She didn't say it with any sense of inflation or deflation. She didn't say it with a sense of humor. She meant it. The air would have been cold around her.. the air was cold around her. She only waled towards her friend. TO see how he was as she walked past Zero. The uuchiha that she promsied to kill. That made her happy for some odd reason. Was she a murderer? Hmm that she would have to look up eventually..or a psychopath. That would make her evil..she wasn't evil. She just didn't like him. He was to loud. TO disturbing. So this was to better humanity.

After Zero thank siren and received a threat form the faceless girl Zero didn't feel like putting on his serious face anymore. The treat from that one single girl ruined his day and his aura turned dark and cold. He sat down next to her and whispered in her "oh so your one of those who are after my eyes I see. Well if you want these you have to take them from me first if you can. Things aren't how they seem you know and if you ever try to take my eyes or say anything about the uchiha, you will never see tomorrow again." After saying that Zero went back to his usual happy mood and walked away... but before he left the girl's sight he turned around and gave the girl one more cold stare. He found a seat next to a rather odd boy. His name was uhhhhhhhh hummmm i think S-Shikamaru. So Zero sat down next to him and introduced himself. "Hi hows it going Shikamaru, Im Zero Uchiha and u were excellent up there. I hope we could be great friends biggrin " Then out of the blue Zero's name was called by Iruka "Zero Uchiha will be demonstrating next " he said. So Zero walked down the stairs towards the front of the class. He gave his stare at the faceless girl and activated his sharingan for a second and returned his eyes to normal. That right there was Zero's ways of declaring his enemies. Zero put her on top of his list, one false move and he moves in for the kill. "But enough with this for today" Zero thought. He concentrated his chakra and was ready for the attack. Iruka attacks Zero and Zero vanishes leaving only a log to take his place. He then reappears in his seat waiting for Iruka to announce his score.

Classes began that morning the same way they had countless other mornings, stretching back into time immemorial. Or at least a few years or so. They began with a bell. Perhaps not a bell, but an electronic equivalent, a device that chimed in the familiar melody that heralded the beginning of the day's classes. Many of the students, prospective Genins all, streamed in through the freshly unlocked doors, eager for one reason or another to go to classes, do their best, and become a fine ninja in their own right. But not everyone seemed so motivated. Oh, there were the reluctant attendees, the students who didn't want to be there, who felt they either had better things to do, or felt themselves already good enough that they didn't need paltry lessons such as these. And then there was Mayu. Mayu was a bit of an irregularity in this batch of new students. She was certainly eager to attend classes like many of the others, though even then, the reasons she had for doing so were her own. But why, then, was she the last one to enter the Academy? She had been waiting there since before dawn, dozing lightly as she leaned against the wall, waiting for classes to begin. Why would someone so obviously eager then be so late? Was she trying to be fashionably late, or perhaps make a name for herself by bucking the rules? No, neither of those were the cause at all. The fact of the matter was that Mayu was simply slow. Oh, she was as sharp as a tack, she had experience far, far, far past her years. She was just physically slow. That hardly seemed a good trait to have if she wanted to be a ninja, however. But if things went as she planned, her handicap of sorts would not give her too much trouble, once she got a little stronger. For now, however, merely walking to the classroom was an exercise in frustration, in a complex workout regime that seemed to go on forever. And just why was she so slow? Was she burdened down with training weights, weighted clothing that was designed to help her boost her speed? Technically yes, but also not quite. It wasn't her clothing that was weighted, it was her carapace. She was a member of the Kagerou clan. Just as with every other member of her clan, she started life in a bulky and unwieldy form, practically a cocoon of sorts. A thick insectoid carapace that was as much a part of her as her hair or fingernails, it was a burden she had grown used to over the years. Even so, she had yet to really adjust to it, to really gain a proper level of speed and agility that would allow her to function as a proper ninja. That was one fo the big reasons she had come here. The other reason she would not reveal to anyone, for it was an intrinsic part of her plan. Her plan to plunge the various lands into the era of bloodshed known as the Great Ninja War once more. That alone was proof enough that she was not just another typical ninja prospective. Time continued to crawl past, as she finally reached the door to the classroom. The lesson had already begun, of course. No surprise there. When she opened the door to let herself in, the instructor glared at her, demanding to know why she was so late. She tried the truth, saying she had moved as fast as she could. But even with her all-too-obvious carapace, the instructor didn't believe her, and marked her down as late. Hopefully that wouldn't be enough to ruin her chances at graduation, she had far too much planned for her life to accept a failure so soon in her chosen path. She moved toward a chair, while the instructor impatiently awaited her actually sitting down. It took a few moments, during which the instructor began to suspect she was doing it on purpose. She wasn't, but they couldn't know that. When she finally sat down, the instructor resumed lessons. Mayu was a very quick study, so she was able to catch up in short order. Her mind was much faster than her body, after all. Soon, she had covered all of the material that she had missed in her agonizingly slow trek to the classroom, and caught up with everyone else. The lesson wasn't even close to being over by that point, the instructor had only managed to cover the basics of the nature of chakra and the five elements before being interrupted by the late arrival. Now that there were no other interruptions, however, the lesson could proceed a bit faster, fast enough that they might actually stick to the tentative schedule the instructor had been using for this and many other classes. They still had to deal with each individual student's unique nature, finding out what style of jutsu or technique would suit them best, and then from there go into a practical explanation of the absolute basic techniques. Those five techniques that virtually every ninja was expected to know, regardless of where they hailed form, or what manner of field they might be forced to do battle in. Those five techniques, of course, being: the art of water walking, the art of tree walking, or rather, tree climbing, the art of substitution, the absolute basic version of a clone technique, and the fallback in disguise arts, the Hensojutsu. Of course, certain of these techniques would still be difficult to learn for new students, regardless of what their affinity and skills might indicate. The remainder of the lessons went reasonably quickly, until they came to the point when each student was to step forward and find out their specialty and affinity. Most of the students made short work of the challenge, they knew enough about chakra to let it resonate with them, so that when they focused on the glass of water which was intrinsic to the exercise, they would soon discover their specialties. Most students, but not all. Some just couldn't get their heads wrapped around the task, no matter how hard they tried. Those few returned to their seats angrily, sure that they had been robbed of their proper attention. And then there was Mayu. Before she was called up, the instructor asked if she would be as slow moving now as she was before. Mayu wouldn't lie, so she just nodded and said that even if she tried, she couldn't move any faster than that. The other students didn't like that any more than the instructor did, they were all too impatient to wait for such an excruciatingly long amount of time for such a simple exercise. So instead, the instructor just brought the glass to her desk and had her perform the drill there. That would save a lot of time, so the class could continue on at it's ordinary pace. All she had to do was grab the glass, and then concentrate, let her chakra resonate with the water. If she performed the drill correctly a change of some kind would occur in the water. Depending on what that change actually was, that would be an indicator toward her elemental affinity and specialty. Every ninja had a specialty, a knack or a skill that they were disposed toward. Just as every ninja found it easier to use one of the five elements over the others. In rare occasions a ninja could be equally adept at two elements, but that was notably rare except in specially selected breeding programs and the like. Mayu did not have such a program backing her, so there should be no surprises, as long as she could perform the drill itself correctly. She didn't feel nervous in the slightest, she knew she could do this. She knew it with all the certainty that she knew a great many things, knowledge that she had gained while int hat special state halfway between sleep and death that had been her form before what she was now. That form had made an eternity out of an instant, and a few years out of a lifetime. This contradictory temporal state had caused her mind to grow much faster than the rest of her development, to the point that she was much smarter than a ninja of her apparent age had any right to be. Whether that gift of experience was in fact a boon or curse remained to be seen. As it was, however, it lent her an air of confidence which did wonders for moments like this. It was just a test, and she knew all the steps required to perform it successfully. So there was no reason that it would not end with a victory in the factual sense. She slightly tightened the grip on the glass, and looked at the water, bringing her concentration to the fore as she focused, and felt her chakra flowing, resonating. [1512 out of 2200+ ]

Shinobu watched as the faceless girl winged a few kunai at the one from the Nara clan… Shikarama (lol at all of you who called him Shikamaru) the Sensei had called him, it was likely the teacher would stop them or the boy would either way he’d be fine, it would be a rather poetic twist for him to use the substitution jutsu at that moment Shinobu must admit. Though the fact that she even threw the knives slightly upset Shinobu, it was dishonorable, something these ninja didn’t seem to get too hung up about in their actions. And they had the gall to wonder why a lot of them went rogue and did evil things; simply it was because of the nature of their work. Shady, sneaky jobs with no thought of personal honor. Shinobu had long decided she’d forgo those things and travel doing honest work while she learned the way of the sword wherever she could find it. It was ironic she was looking to learn every sword style possible and her family had been cut to pieces, most people wouldn’t even have the fortitude to look at a blade much less seek to thrive with one. She watched as the faceless girl seemed to ‘say’ something to the boy from Uchiha who’d stated his name was Zero. He returned her ‘pleasantry’ in kind neither seeming to be fazed by the other. Zero was a bit loud and headstrong but seemed to have enough innate talent to back it up as did the faceless girl who had no need for the hand signs so important to most shinobi. Those things didn’t matter to Shinobu either mostly because she never planned to use jutsu, but certain things would be handy to have in stock in case something happened. She stood and stretched glancing about in hope of finding a spot to practice her tree climbing exercise, since the ability to walk on solid objects would be very handy for her, and perfect it. Shinobu focused the energy into her feet and gave it a running start getting about ten steps up before the chakra failed her and she leaped backwards using one of the practice kunai to score a notch, with the thousands of other notches put there over the years, to mark her progress. Actually thinking about it they probably replaced these things like weekly with as much slicing that was done on them, perhaps someone with wood style jutsu did it. Shaking the distracting thought from her mind she calculated what she’d need to reach the top and kneaded it and focused it into her feet making it about twenty five before she was forced to bail, she athletically found a branch and landed with a slight skid and jumped down from there as a fall from that height would be unwise to attempt even with ninja style athletics behind you. She stared up at the tree it was pretty good but she did it once more and looked at the world from the top. 500(not including the parenthesis) + 3,000 = 3,500

The kunai appeared to hit him, stabbing into his body as blood began to flow. In the next moment, a puff of smoke surrounded him. His body had been replaced not by a log, but by a flash-bomb. It went off, making a show that blinded the others. As the light faded Shikarama now sat calmly in a tree, smiling. He watched as the other students began to try the jutsu, including zero. Though he noticed one girl, with white hair and dark skin, the one with the metallic arm and blade, didn't even try it. He looked to Zero as he moved by him and spoke. He was just greeting him, saying he had impressed, already Shikarama felt a bit annoyed by him. And add to that the fact that he got his name wrong. "The names Shikarama fool..." He said with his annoyance in his voice. Being given that name, the name of one of the laziest of the clan. Then he calmed himself and continued. "But, perhaps we can be friends." He glanced up, already seeing shinobu begin the tree climbing exercise. Once everyone else had finished the substitution technique, Iruka spoke out. "Ok everyone, find a tree or wall, we will begin the climbing technique." He stepped up to a tree, and showed everyone. "Gather your chakra, using a handseal if you need, into your feet." He showed them as a small amount of dust rose up. "Imagine them as flowing into forming a controlled film." He then stepped onto the tree, his foot sticking to it. He walked up the tree, showing everyone. "You need to make it strong enough, but not too strong. try to get as high as you can." Shikarama stepped up towards the tree, gathering his chakra. He could feel it flowing over the souls of his feet, before he backed up, took a running start, and ran up the tree. He grabbed a kunai, made it 4 meters up the tree, and then slashed the bark and jumped off. She only turned to the crowd as she looked and she started to leave this area. "I am done here." She said as she took her headband from Iruka. She learned enough to become a genin.. and so she would be a formal ninja now and kill what she killed best. She waved goodbye to Shikarama. She found her first friend. Or at least the first person she wouldn't kill. She then turned to the Uuhicha and laughed. She couldn't believe that he would have a chance against her. She was from the greek clan and those eyes...Those eyes couldn't work on people that didn't look at them. She walked out of the academy and started to head...to her goal.

Zero looked in the distance to see his target leaving he felt heaviness in his heart for he didn't at least get to show her his true power, inside of Zero slept a spirit that is yet to awake on his command. But even though he hated her he decided to send her off. He made a clone of himself and sent the clone after her to give something. The clone reached the faceless girl and gave her the item and a message. The clone then vanishes. Zero driving the thought of the girl out of his head decided to join umm whats her name again oh yea shinobu and his newly acquired friend Shikarama. But first he had things to take care of. He walked up to Shikarama and apologized to him. After that he started his training. He climbed a tree making it up to 25, 30, 40, up to 60 ft. Zero felt proud about himself but then when he was about to make it to 70 ft things happen. He the bark gave away and Zero tripped and fell down! He acceleration downwards ready to meet his fate. But then it awoken and Zero survived. Zero looked down to find himself floating on a bed of fire. He quickly made the fire disappear hoping no one saw that. He then took a break not at all surprised that happened for he knew what was dormant inside of him...

Seto, one of the young academy students could be found sitting out on the roof to the building, looking out over the grounds as he sighed. Classes here were exceedingly boring for one thing and utterly pointless for another. The only talent he had that he really cared for was his control over sand, a naturally inherited ability that he scorned as a mere mockery of what it should be. To some, his power might be considered a blessing. To him, it was incomplete, imperfect and an insult to the true master of the desert, Shukaku. The simple fact that the great demon had been destroyed had only caused Seto to become enraged and even more determined in his quest to become one with that beast. He swore that he would resurrect the One Tailed Sand Demon, no matter what it cost, no matter what he had to do and no matter how long it took him. He would become complete and his powers would become perfect. There was simply no other way he would have it. Quote: Words in Post = 177 Word total = 177

Shinobu looked down from the top of the tree as students performed the substitution jutsu, and when Sensei came to explain the jutsu Shinobu tossed the kunai down, away from the other students, and substituted with it a few feet before it hit the ground. She didn't need to be at the top of a tree when the teacher was telling the others about it that would be disrespectful to him, as many of the students were busy with watching the teacher Shinobu slowly made her way to the back of the throng of students as she noted the apparent ease at which Iruka Sensei went up the tree walking as if it were flat ground instead of a ninety degree incline straight up a tree, she had to respect his strength too cause the rest of his body wasn't being held up by chakra yet it remained pretty much straight as he made his way up. After he came down she noted that the faceless girl was receiving her head band and felt a touch of curiosity as to why she was asking for it now in the middle of class, she was also a touch indignant as it was rude to interrupt class for personal gain, but as it was probably important for her to get back to her village, cause why else would she be allowed to skip the exams, Shinobu let the thought slipped away as a Zero clone passed her and gifted something to the faceless girl apparently giving a message and then fading, casually shifting her point of view from shoulder to the next she noted that Zero was near her, she sort of stared at him blankly, feeling slightly that maybe if she'd been born of Uchiha her personal tragedy may never had happened or at least had it she may have had a better ability to take her revenge against the one who'd taken her arm and family from her. Shikarama’s sprint at the tree caught her eye and she noted his ascent and descent then Zero was up on a tree a little farther back and she saw him fall and get caught by the fire. “Interesting… the Uchiha really are masters of the fire element…” she thought as he seemed a bit nervous, then again why wouldn’t he be? Zero had almost brained himself there with a slip of chakra as he ran up the tree. It made her wonder how many shinobi actually died from things like that, minor accidents like tripping or the like, it almost seemed improbable with the whole being trained to be like cats thing, like land on your feet and junk, but there had to be one occasionally right? Of course, even ninja’s have accidents; machines broke down, blades chipped, ninjas had to mess up to a fatal degree occasionally. Then again perhaps several did and it was just so normal that it didn’t even seem that interesting a conversational topic. That seemed plausible. 500 + 3500 = 4000 lol got to love random thought progression XD

He looked to the faceless woman as she left, waving back to her uneasily. She was certainly a strange one. He began to gather his chakra, preparing for another go, as he noticed Zero was just going at it one right after another. Through sheer determination, at the top of the last attempt he reached a little over 20 meters. His eyes then widened as Zero fell from the tree. He formed a handseal, prepared to intervene, Zero created a cushion of fire somehow. He had never seen such a fire-style technique. After a few moments of analyzing it, Shikarama understood the flames created a blanket of heated air that pushed him up against gravity, preventing him from hitting the ground. Shikarama could feel the eyes of the metal armed girl on him. He closed his eyes taking a moment to breathe. With this next attempt, he would surpass his previous mark as much as he could. He ran to the tree, chakra flowing over the soles of his feet and he rushed up the tree. He made up over 25 meters on the second try, before flipping and slashing the area with his kunai. As he fell he stabbed his kunai into the tree. As it slashed down, it slowed his descent greatly. Once he was close enough to the ground he pulled it out and landed on his feet. Then he stepped back for a moment, and concentrated, this time, he would make it to the top of the tree. Taking a deep breathe, he rushed up the tree again, his feet covered in chakra. He ran as quickly as he could, holding a handseal with one hand to help keep the chakra flowing correctly. He passed his second mark, and rushed up towards the top. Just as he was about to lose his grip on the tree, his hand reached out and he grabbed one of the top branches, pulling himself into it. He looked down to the others from as high up as he was. He was over 35 meters above them in the tree. He breathed heavy, smiling softly as he looked to them. Compared to her walking speed, the rest of Mayu's reactions and skills operated at levels comparable to the other students. Which meant that it took only a moment for the water to react to her chakra. At first, the change wasn't obvious, but eventually it grew more noticeable. It was changing color. A light blue, which was why the change was difficult to notice at first. The instructor studied the changes for a moment before informing Mayu that she would be skilled in the emission types of techniques, such as projections of chakra, and that her elemental affinity was likely wind. Likely, because the color that was manifested wasn't quite the same as normal, it was almost as if she had more than one elemental affinity. This was rare, though not unheard of. Often, such a state came from beings who themselves had a variegated function, or even transformational powers. As a Kagerou, she had those powers, thus the change in the hue of the altered water. With that, the testing part of the exam was done, now they could move on to the practical aspect of the exam. The challenge was to perform a single jutsu successfully, as decided solely by the instructor. The jutsu they would have to perform would be announced immediately before they were to actually perform it. There would be only a single chance, if they failed they would have to be held back, and enter the next class, even to the extent of sitting through all of the lectures, and everything that went with them. They would eventually pass, but each time they failed, the next series of classes they entered would take even longer, in a cumulative process. This daunting prospect served as a very good source of determination to pass, to give the students extra incentive to succeed on the first attempt. Without further ado, the instructor beckoned the students to follow him out to one of the practice fields. This included Mayu, unfortunately, slow moving as ever. The instructor took one look at her slow movements and sighed, before telling her that she would be called on last. If she wasn't at the field by the time she was called, then she would automatically fail. She refused to fail before having a chance to show what she could do, so this successfully managed to urge her toward greater speed. Unfortunately it was only a slight increase, she was still moving at something slower than a stroll. Even so, there was a decent number of students in the class. If she was lucky, the field would be the one closest to the Academy, so she could arrive in time. The other students arrived in short order, and the instructor wasted no time in calling the first. A young boy from Hidden Stone, he boasted the odd additions that the infamous Deidara possessed, that of extra mouths on his palms. His assigned jutsu was the Substitution technique. He scoffed, thinking it easy. But once it was time to try, he seemed more nervous. Trying his best, he barely succeeded, substituting with an object, though it wasn't the log he had planned on using. The instructor gave him a passing score, and moved on to the next. Down the line, each student getting a single chance to perform a randomly selected jutsu. Tree Walking, Water Walking, Substitution, Bunshins, even Hensojutsu, all were used at least once. Some students failed, but most of them managed to succeed. Their chakra control wasn't the greatest, but a little fine-tuning in their home villages would do wonders and even out their skills enough to be of real use. Then, finally, it was time for Mayu to be called. The instructor took a look around, but she was not standing amongst the other students. The instructor wasn't going to wait, however, and still called out her name, and the choice of jutsu. "Eintagsfliege Mayu, Substitution!" She didn't speak in response, or step forward, so the instructor prepared to mark her down as a failure. Even worse, as a no-show. Before they could, however, the log left in the middle of the group from a previous substitution erupted in smoke, or rather, was replaced in a puff of smoke. Once the smoke cleared, Mayu stood there. Her hands still in the proper hand seal, she was breathing hard from the extra work she'd had to put in just to reach this point. She had just barely heard her name called from several dozen yards away, and used the Substitution technique to get to the exam field, rather than using it from the field. Her arrival was unexpected enough that several of the other students almost jumped in surprise, even the instructor hadn't expected she would actually make it in time. In a rather grudging voice, the instructor mattered that that was good enough, she had passed. Mayu smiled, her satisfaction tempered by exhaustion as she simply sat down where she was. With any luck, she wouldn't have to get up for a while, she didn't really have it in her to do much more for the day. She was still new to having a physical body, she needed to do a lot more stamina training if she hoped to be anywhere near as strong as she desired. Unfortunately, she did have to get up, everyone had to file back into the classroom to receive their headband if they had passed, or to receive their new class assignments if they had failed. Mayu debated between two options, both of which would be exhausting in it's own right. In the end, she decided to just use a Substitution once more, to get back to class quicker. She would be tired by the time she arrived regardless, she might as well get it over with sooner, so she could rest sooner as well. The graduation ceremony was thankfully short and sweet. The students were already standing in a rough line, so the instructor just moved down the line, handing each their headband, engraved with their village's symbol. Mayu's, of course, bore the single musical note of Hidden Sound. Whether she would remain a loyal ninja for her village or go rogue some time down the road in favor of her own goal remained to be seen. Even she wasn't sure just how her plans would come to fruition, not yet. Regardless, the world was open to her now, now that she had graduated and become recognized as a ninja. She could go out into the world and become even stronger, all for that final moment when her plans came to fruition, when she had followed what amounted to her prime directive. To plunge all of the assorted lands into another Great Ninja War! [1132 + 1512 = 2644 out of 2200+ ]

Zero looked at Shikarama when he noticed that he was studying Zero's technique. He then noticed Shikarama running up the tree. So Zero went after him. Zero concentrated then then ran climbing all the way up to Shikarama. He meets Shikarama on a tree branch and explained to him the technique "Hey Shikarama. I noticed you found interest in my jutsu. But honestly its not completely a jutsu its more like a spirit. You see when I was little I found a shrine in the forest dedicated to the spirit of fire. I wondered inside and found a spirit floating in the middle of the alter. I greeted him and he found a liking to me. He offered to stay by my side and grant me powers to control fire. He then went inside my body and stayed in there as long as I live. And so I can control fire like I did just now." As Zero said that he surrounded Shikarama with fire. Zero explained to him that he can control what the fire burns and don't. Zero then banishes the flames from Shikarama's body. "You see the fire also protects me from the attacks of other opponents and it doesn't require hand seals unless I'm doing a jutsu with this fire." But thats all. Zero then vanishes and reappears on the ground. He was tired of tree climbing so he decided to work on his water walking. He arrived at a pond and concentrated his chakra to his feet. He threw a kuni across the pond and made his goal to achieve the kuni and bring it back. He steps into the water and he doesn't sink. He takes another step then another then SPLASH!!!!! He falls in. He emerges back out and focused chakra on both his hand and feet. He used his chakra focused hands to push him out and he stood on his feet again. He ran this time hoping that he would make it. He nearly reached it until SPLASH!!!! He was soaked once again. He went back to shore and gathered some wood. He shot a spark of fire out of his fingers and made a fire. He hung his clothes on there so it could dry (still has boxers on). He then confronts the pond on last time. He charges up. Concentrating all his chakra this time. He goes, running towards the kuni. He reached it grabbing it and pulling it out of the rock. Still standing on the water, Zero runs to the shore. He makes it and was blooming with joy. But he used to much chakra and he was tired. He made a bed and slept for a while. 300/300, 300/300, 400/400, 600/600, 351/600 Henge no Jutsu: complete Bushin no Jutsu: complete Art of Substitution: complete Tree Climbing: complete Water Walking: in progress Chakra: 1951

Shikarama just looked to Zero oddly, seeing the fire form around them both. Then he watched as he went off. Shikarama then slid down the tree. He reached the others and approached Iruka. Iruka waited until everyone finished the attempt. Then, he spoke out, "Ok everyone, now we will try our final major jutsu." He began to lead the group towards the lake nearby. Gari After having stayed propped up on the wall, Gari figured it would be time for him to actually start training. Turning his head left and right, he caught sight of an unoccupied shinobi instructor. Gari then gradually approached the older shinobi, "Hello, I am Gari. I have come to learn your basics of Ninja-dom," Gari started while giving the teacher a respectful bow. "Well well well, its been a while since a student has come along and actually respected us Academy Teachers," the man replied smiling,"I am Fakutei Jono. Jono-sensei to you though." Gari replied to the mans spoken word with an affirmative nod whilst he rose his head back up from the bowing stance. Now standing straight up, Gari asked,"Let us begin." Jono almost found it scary that such a young shinobi came to him with such respect and eagerness for something as small as the fundamentals. Jono-sensei let out a affirmative grunt accompanied by a positively responding head nod. "Follow me," Jono said as he turned around to start towards a door leading outside,"We will begin outside. I want to see where to start with you, find your level, so we won't waste time on learning unnecessary techniques." Gari gave a affirmative nod and began to follow the teacher outside. After opening the heavy blue door, a brief flash of sunlight would then reveal a rather large cleared out area within a gate. Gari figured it too large to be for training individual academy students, but became even more skeptical when he noticed rather large foot prints in the dirt and grass mixture. The border that enclosed the area was more or less a wall, probably no less that two or three feet thick and made of concrete. "Do all student undergo training here," the young stone village ninja questioned as he looked at the instructor. Jono sensei gave a suspicious smirk and tilted his head slightly downward. "No, everyone does not train here. In fact, the few that train here often quit after the first day, if they make it through the first day," Jono replied. "This area was added onto the academy specifically more teachers such as myself. Me and a couple of other teachers here are what you could call 'Instructors of Harder- I meant Higher learning.' The students that have graduated from the academy under our lead have always proven to become Top Class shinobi when they leave. I'll ask you this only once, do you want to quit now?" Gari certainly did become somewhat unsure after the instructor gave his brief intimidation speech, but it was still an academy, nothing extreme ever happened at an academy. That was being though before Gari looked around the arena and saw the stains of once fresh blood splattered on the wall. "I'm ready," Gari replied firmly. "Well, then get ready kid. I'm going to summon a few friends of mine, but first I will give you only a brief over run of the techniques you will learn here in the academy." Jono sensei pulled out a scroll full of instructions on how to perform a small group of techniques. "You got one minute," Jono sensei said as he pulled out another much larger scroll and spread it out on the ground. Gari quickly analyzed as much of the info as he could, remembering the basics for each of the techniques that were available. "Alright times up," the instructor yelped as his bit into thumb drawing blood,"All you have to do is kill these guys before they kill you. Oh and here!" Jono sensei through Gari a small greyish tanned equipment bag. Gari quickly placed it over his shoulder and found it to be a snug fit. He then took his usual stance; left foot towards the front while turned to the side, raising his left arm with his left hand flat out, while his right arm was drawn back and ready to deliver a blow if one was necessary. Jono sensei slapped his palm onto the rolled out scroll, placing the blood from his thumb in an area labeled to do so. With a large puff of smoke, Gari could here what sounded like a caged beast breathing heavily for feeding time. As the cloud of smoke dismembered, he would see a whole lot more than he bargained for. Behind Jono sensei stood three large black humanoid beast. Each of the three wore a distinct Oni make, one red, one blue, and one green. Along with the different colored mask, each of them had different attributes: one of them hand more human like appendages, another had two large blade like appendages for hands, and the last had a set of blunt mace for hands. "You will have to fight them one after the next, no breaks," Jono sensei stated before he snapped, signaling the beast with the green oni mask and bladed arms to come forth. The large black beast stood at least twenty foot high and easily weighed in at over three thousand pounds, a hulking mass of muscle. As the giant faced Gari, it let out a tremendous howl before it started charging at Gari with its bladed arms spread out, ready to cut like a pair of giant scissors. As the beast approached, Gari reached into his newly acquired pouch and pulled out four kunai and four small shuriken. He then took a running start foward, letting his arms fall behind in order to gain a small boost of momentum. By the third step in his run, Gari flung the shuriken forward from his left hand and immediately followed with slinging the kunai from his right hand directly at the beast. They were not aimed at any specific portion of the beast. They were thrown in more of a spray, aiming to to hit anything thing that could possibly be hit. After throwing the small weapons, Gari continued to dash forward with his left hand up in a guarding position and his right hand behind with a closed fist. The beast definitely took note of the spray of weapons fired toward it, since it flinched and slowed down when the array of weapons stabbed into just about every part on the front face of the body. The kunai and shuriken drew blood as the beast continued to limp forward in a scissor like stance. Once in reach, the beast gave a violent scissor swipe at Gari that would easily leave the boy in two separate parts if it made contact. While the arms swung at about his waistline from both sides, Gari quickly withdrew one kunai from his back and leaped high into the air, almost having his foot cut of by the beast's violent attack. Now suspended in the air, and with a super small gap of time between now and the time that the beast will have attacked again, Gari had to act fast. Using the force behind his high jump, Gari held the kunai in his left hand by the handle and placed the ringed end in the palm of his right hand in order to add an extra amount of push to his attack. Aimed directly at the face of the beast, Gari was prepared to drive the kunai straight through the mantle of the mask, and hopefully slay the beast with one attack. When he approached however, the beast opened its mouth wide in hopes of gulping the young shinobi down.Gari had anticipated such an action from such a savage beast. With the kunai pressed up against the palm of Gari's right hand, a small mouth would open and spit out a small ball of what looked like white clay onto the kunai and be attached to the kunai by a small clay string that was tied around the ringed end. Getting closer to the gaping mouth Gari sent the kunai into the toothed darkness. "Katsu!" Gari exclaimed quickly because he was still falling towards the mouth himself. Before Gari could reach the mouth, the beast's face and head blew up violently and the beheaded beast toppled over. Gari then came to a safe landing by rolling at the point of impact since he had jumped so high. He was not safe at all, for he would find himself being clobbered and sent flying by the blunt beast's massive clubs.Surprised by the dazing blow, Gari could not even brace himself for the impact when he hit the ground, causing his body to roll violently to a gradual stop. Gari stood with apparent pain on his face since he was now frowning and had one of his eyes closed. It would appear that he also injured his arm since it was now lifelessly hanging from his shoulder. The long burgundy sleeve that had once covered the damaged arm was now torn off and in rags from the tumbling. A sense of anger could now be seen about Gari. Several slits appeared on the damaged arm, and slowly opened to reveal at least fifteen mouths. The mouths opened widely with their childish-gestured tongues hanging out; each of them then spat out small clay figures that resembled dragon flies. Before the figures could hit the ground they sprung to life and rapidly zipped towards not only the second of the beast, but the final beast and Jono sensei. Surprised at the attack, Jono sensei found himself with minimal time to retaliate since the dragon fly figures zipped at him so quickly. He only had time to perform one hand seal before vanishing in a puff of smoke. With the dragon flies now swarming the beasts, Gari let out one more "Katsu!" Each of the tiny dragonflies burst into a ravaging explosion, creating a large uplift of dust and dirt. As the haze would calm, Gari would see that he came out on top. The beast were now blown up into chunks that were scattered here and there. Jono sensei then came down with a body flicker and simply handed Gari a graduation certificate and his Stone Village head band. "Congratulations. You passed," Jono sensei stated; it looked like he didn't completely avoid the explosion since his faced was charred comically.

Hush now baby made a start.. There's a jewel in your heart.. And a star that shines for you.. Watching everything you do..Siren Siren smiled at the boy she had helped earlier. She had just stared at the Uchiha. So it's true all Uchiha men are handsome. She thought to herself. "Uh..you're welcome..." she spoke quietly. Before she knew it he was off talking with others and Iruka sensei had already changed the exercise. It had seemed like hours since they've been outside. Siren was listening and eyed the teacher as he demonstrated the Art of Subsitution. It was still hard to believe everything she was seeing but accepted it. However, she still didn't know how to do any of this chakra stuff but it was really entertaining to watch. So one by one, all the other students demonstrated the Art of Substitution. Whether it was flawless or not, Siren was enjoying and congradulating everyone who tried. Soon Iruka sensei approached her and her eyes went straight to the floor. "Siren, why don't you give it a try?" he asked her. Siren slightly looked up and shook her head. But before she could 'pass' another student had come up to her and said he would help her train a bit. Despite her nervousness, she reluctantly accepted the boy's offer and went off to the other side the training courtyard, a bit a way from the others. Siren felt much more nervous than before. Iruka Sensei had followed the two and handed Siren a substitution log. The log wasn't too heavy, but it was rather large, Siren could just barely keep it erected vertically. Then Iruka watched cautiously. Unsure on how this boy would help Siren. This boy's name was Kenji, Takayama. He was another one of those boys who sit in the back of the room away from every one a very mysterious boy, but not in the good way. He seemed friendly though. Siren stood there next to the large log and awaited for some kind of signal. Kenji asked if she was ready and gave a very mysterious grin. Siren nodded readied herself and then Kenji pulled out a long katana. Suddenly his intent became different and Siren could tell. Kenji suddenly struck his blade and lunged it forward. "GH!?" Siren gasped moved out of the way barely dodging the sword. But Kenji didn't stop. Faster and faster, Kenji's moves became and Siren some how continued to duck and dived out of the way, still keeping close to the log. At times, it would almost seem as though Siren was actually dancing with the log! "Please, Stop! Ah!" She begged and shouted at Kenji. Kenji took another leap at her and this time jabbed his katana blade into the log and tossed it over. Siren no longer had a base and now felt exposed and out in the open. Kenji then leaped forward and forced Siren to trip over the log and scream, terrified. She covered he head and went into a feetle postition, when suddenly...
"Kenji thats enough!", Iruka stated holding the boy back. He allowed the battle to go as far as it did because he hoped Kenji would get Siren to be more confident in herself. He wasn't expecting him to completely switch ego's like that and try to kill the girl. Kenji suddenly calmed down and stared at the girl he practically forced on the ground. Kenji growled at himself and put his sword away. Without even speaking a word, he walked away and supposedly went home. Siren's heart was still thumping like bass drum. Her whole body was shaking and she was panting like dog. Iruka Sensei, looked at her and sighed, "I'm sorry, dear, why don't you go inside for awhile?" Iruka comforted her. Siren took deep breaths and walked inside to get a drink of water.
Iruka remembered the whole scene. Although Siren seemed to have dogded all of Kenji's moves, which indeed was impressive, Siren was obviously not using any chakra and the performance itself was disappointing. Alls one could see was Siren hiding behind a log and stumbling to duck and dogde. He wondered if something was really wrong with Siren. Then he had returned to the students at the lake and watched them train awhile
