Caleb raised an eyebrow at Allen's question. Not really at the question itself, but his tone of voice and stuttering. He just shrugged it off though once Maddy mentioned the legendary pokemon again. He had only heard so much about them himself. Stories really. He figured that's really all they were.

They were at Lumiose before he even realized it. He whistled a bit as he looked around when they entered the city. He had never really had much reason to come to Lumiose, and this was one of those rare occasions. He couldn't help but be a bit impressed by the city each time.

"Shopping huh...?" he said, checking his wallet. His Fennekin poked her head out of his coat and peered around. Once she noticed that they weren't on Route 13 anymore, she climbed out of her hiding spot.

Maddy noticed Allen was following her and lead him through a couple different alleyways. It had been a while since she had last visited her house, but she could still remember the way.
Eventually they turned onto a street lined with a few nice houses. They came up to Maddy's about halfway down the street, a two story house with black siding and a bright red door. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a key ring, filled with so many key chains that the few keys on it could hardly be seen at first glance.
"Now which key was it..."

Two Team Flare grunts were on the move, one following Caleb and keeping himself well hidden amongst the crowd, and a second eying Maddy and Allen from between two houses across the street, cloaked in shadows.

[Feel free to either play along or not even notice them. I don't mind wrenches.]

Allen coughed loudly in an attempt to get Maddy's attention, "I'll stay out here and wait for you." His eyes shifted over to the grunt, but he pretended not to notice. He inhaled and let out a sigh before turning to take a seat on the stoop to wait.

The grunt in the crowd raised his hand to his ear and his mouth was moving, indicating he was speaking. He was most likely speaking into a headset. His words couldn't be heard over the noises of the crowd. He continued to follow Caleb, but the Fennekin peering over his shoulder was making him a little nervous so he put some more distance between them. He cursed under his breath as someone bumped into him and dove into the crowd, not even bothering to hear an apology.

Maddy glanced over her left shoulder slightly, scanning the area with her green eye. For a moment she made eye contact with the grunt and her green eye almost flashed with menacing. The grunt backed further into the shadows and walked off, behind one of the houses and out of sight.
"Sounds like a good idea. I'll be quick."
She finally found the key to her house and unlocked the door, stepping inside. She rushed upstairs to the master bedroom to find whatever it was she needed.

The grunt following Maddy and Allen reappeared further down the street, watching from between a different set of houses.

With his head turned, Caleb couldn't help but notice a man in a red suit getting bumped into. He didn't quite see who it was that bumped him, but that didn't seem all too important at the moment.

"Good girl..." Caleb whispered to his Fennekin, noticing that was the direction she was staring in. He casually returned to looking straight ahead, keeping the same pace. He continued on walking as if everything was perfectly normal until finally catching view of a bookstore sign. He turned and made his way inside.

Maddy soon found what she was looking for and joined Allen back outside, locking the door to her house behind her. She noticed his Volcarona keeping an eye out.
"Let's get going."
She took her TADS out and sent a message to everybody:
"Sorry for the wait, guys. Meet me at the gate leading to Route 16."
She then nodded to Allen and they continued on. They were already quite close to the gate and reached it within a few minutes.

It seemed both of the grunts tailing them all had backed off... for now.

As the two reached the gate, he nodded, "They really think they don't stick out like sore thumbs. Or rather, their suits are eyesores." He shrugs and looks Maddy over for a moment before looking through the gate to the other side. He could see a patch of flowers blowing around in a steady breeze and a little cabin just passed that.

*I turn to Allen*
Me: Hey there. I don't know about you, but those suits are pretty awesome. Don't badmouth the suits.
