Eh, I probably won't bother with heels at all. Just buying fancy flats was a somewhat odd move for me. I normally just wear tennis shoes or low-to-no-heel boots.

I've got a variety of shoes, but I did wear these high heels at my brother-in-law's wedding and I have these sexy shoes that I wear everyday. I've yet to own good flats, but these are next with some new wedge heels sandals.

Sevi Rais NO NO NO. gonk Oh my God.....that book was the freakiest thing EVER. Every night when I went to sleep I kept telling myself that it's just a book, it's just a book, it's just a book. gonk I can't even recommend it because I lost enjoyment out of it on page 118 (although I must have read 300 pages given all the footnotes). Craziest, zaniest thing ever. Never again. crying I swear that book is evil. I felt a huge weight off of me when I gave it back to the library. Arg. Aww, you really should have finished it. Though I can understand your frustrations. It's rather bizarrely formatted specifically to evoke certain emotions. To make you feel the things Johnny is going through during his own reading. The chapter with footnotes in the margins and upside down/reversed/inside out text, for example, makes so much sense in that it's the chapter involving the labyrinth.
Quite honestly, House of Leaves is one of the greatest love stories I've ever read.
Also, I like the first dress. The green one. The others are nice, but the first is by far the best, in my opinion. Which is a bizarre opinion.

I keep trying to find some good harness boots, but every pair I find is too godamned narrow. I was looking through a catalogue that had a lot of wide widths the other day... then realized "wides start at size 8." Well, ******** you too. I'm a 6-7. mad

And they are much more comfortable that the pair of cheap flats that I bought and destroyed my toes.

Also, I like the first dress. The green one. The others are nice, but the first is by far the best, in my opinion. Which is a bizarre opinion.I was actually very adamant to myself on finishing the book when I had it, but it was so scary that it wasn't enjoyable anymore so I had to quit. :/ Also, didn't really care for the disgusting sex scenes that were in his imagination (right...? The tattoo artist). I think one of the scariest (saddest?) scenes was the tattooist mother's death (she's just plain crazy). I don't know why I was so scared of it but it was just insanity. Ppppppp! XD But it's a really smart book. He also made another one that my friend was reading (I guess it's in two different perspectives where one is upside down and the other is right side up ... and backwards. So you'd have to read the beginning until the end (which is in the middle) and from the back to the middle. Kinda funny. XD). Pyre: I agree with the purple neckline on that third dress. I can't wear dresses with weird ruffles like that. It makes me look like I have huge boobs or a turkey neck. XD That green dress is pretty awesome and it would look great with those accessories. Geez, $40 for a ring. :/ Though I did pay $27 for my ring but I wear that everyday. I love my ring, omg. Beni: I agree. I think the dress you linked me is a little short but I guess I can wear shorts with them or leggings. Still cute, though. I like your second shoes. I can see why you wear them so much. So cute! I'm not into heels that much. I have flats but they're so cheap that it's like they were made out of cardboard on the bottom. Also, not very comfortable. :/ I don't know if I've tried or worn a pair of comfortable flats. I mostly wear my sandals or shoes. I seriously never get shoes. I could care less about them. @_____@ Haha. It seems like there are a lot of octopus necklaces nowadays. Maybe because of Paul from the Olympics? So sad that he died. crying Urbane!! You should join in on our clothing conversation! XD You have a really great style.

Sevi: I linked the dress more for the neckline idea, however, another elegant way too pull it off is with opaque black stockings. Complement it with a black flat, kitten heel or stiletto, it'll give the illusion of neverending legs.
I need to get as serious when it comes to shopping flats as when I had been with the heels. I usually go for shoes make in Italy as they are generally well constucted and dont destroy your feet with blisters. But they don't come cheap and since I usually wear in between 5,5 to 7 (depending on the shoe) and cannot wait for sales.
URBY!!!!! It's nice to see your posts again!

Urby - I have really bad insomnia, too. If I get to sleep before 5 AM, it's a banner night. The only time I get up before noon is when I have class, and it suuuuuuuuucks.
Speaking of which, it's ******** AM in the middle of suburbia. Who is the sonuvabitch with the pounding subwoofers? -_-

My weird-assed dream the other night reminded me I actually haven't listened to PotO in a while, so I went on youtube and started looking through videos. One led to the next and somehow I wound up watching damned near the entire play in Japanese. lolwhut?

Lol, Pyre. That's what happens when you're surfing youtube at odd hours. XD I do weird stuff like that, too. Isn't there a sequel coming out for that play (or already came out?) Also, I LOVE sleep and I will force myself to do it if need be (then again it's not hard to do). I hate insomnia. I love sleep so much. <3
Beni: You know so much about fashion. I'm impressed. I just go with whatever looks good on me. XD

It's already out - I'm pretty sure it was a massive flop. PotO doesn't need a sequel. The Phantom is supposed to die at the end, anyways. And set in Coney Island to boot? I swear, I don't know what ALW has been on these past few years. I've read the plot synopsis and it reads like particularly dreadful phanfic. I mean, when your cat manages to delete your entire score from your piano, just take it as a sign from God - don't rewrite it! And I try to go to sleep, but there is only so long I can lie in bed listening to my brain tick. I've done it for three hours before... I just have to get up and do something. Even if it is just stare blankly at a computer screen. Some of the Asian phantoms really do have great voices, though. Even if I lol-ed when he started cursing in Japanese after Christine unmasked him. "Matte!" And the Kabuki influence is interesting. There is definitely more eye make-up and eye gestures. The Japanese Phantoms all do this crazy wide-eyed thing where I swear I can see them rolling around in their heads while the Western ones seem to sing with them half-closed.
