Lavelle Esculentus But I know nothing about setting odds. Although if anyone out there does, I could always have Lavelle act as bookie...>> It's easy. 1. You get both competitors. 2. Based on their performance in other fights, you choose which is the underdog and who is a lot likelier to win. Or if they're equal or whatever. 3. The underdog's odds are higher, and the favorite is lower. Example: Say Vizzle fights the guy who played the cat in the tournament. Vizzle will probably have 2-1 odds, and the cat will probably have something closer to 10-1 odds. Pretty basic explaination. But that's basically how it goes.

And I missed the best part.
4. You change the odds for each competitor as bets are placed. This makes sure the bets on both sides stay pretty even and the bookie makes a profit regardless who wins.

It's illegal in the USA? I never knew that. I used to throw down a couple of bucks on the dogs everytime I was at a bar back home in Australia. Sometimes you luck out and win a couple of hundred!

You know Mino.
If you don't want people to think of you as dumb, then why are you trying to defend your interests so hard against people who don't have the same interests anyway?

Fierach You know Mino. If you don't want people to think of you as dumb, then why are you trying to defend your interests so hard against people who don't have the same interests anyway? Defending my intrests... I'm doing no such thing. I'm showing a bunch of rednecks in a movie. I'll admit i worded the above statement wrong, but to be honest i was just going with the mental flow and thats what came out. I think people can get enjoyment out of them clips no matter what their background.

Sometimes you luck out and win a couple of hundred!Gambling is illegal for the most part in the US. Only a few places are actually sanctioned for gambling. Like Vegas, Indian Reservations and dog/horse tracks. But yeah, unless they're working at one of those places, a bookies job is extremely secretive.

Don't forget Atlantic City.
Gambling is legal there.
I hope.
Cause I go there.
A lot.
