As the scream of the siren drifted across the water, Dr. Morgan put his hands to his ears and began to hum a strange tune unlike any that would have been sung in the pubs of Toulon. When the scream finally ceased, he quit humming and looked to Destiny.
"Lass, I need ye tae run these men daen tae th' wat'r fron'. When ye bring up th' car' fer 'noth'r loa', it be unlikely I'll be 'ere still. I'm tae be roamin' th' city tae see if'n we 'ave missed any major skirmish sites. If'n ye come across any inj'red on yer way, take 'em wit' ye. Nae, be off."
He gathered up the last of the pirates wounded at the fort and stationed them with the others. The men grumbled as they sat together, but many of them were grinning at the thought of their share of the raid's haul.
Once he had all the wounded he could find in one place for Destiny to pick up, he set off into the city in search of more.

The doctor looked down at Miss Ares and his bottle of Brandy, or rather just an empty bottle as She had finished it off.
"I'm afraid that I don't have any Rum. All I had was Brandy... and you finished it off. At least tell me it tasted good, because between the sailor that had a stein full and you having the rest I didn't get any. Hopefully there will still be some in the city. In any case, I'll see if I can find something for you."
He didn't say that he had a bottle of Bourbon in his footlocker because that he did want to save for himself. He thought for a moment and asked Miss Ares a question.
"You know this ship better than I. Is rum kept on board, and if it is I assume it would be in the galley?"
Baxter awaited her reply

With the help of her squad, Destiny began lifting wounded into the wagon, and carting them down to the waterfront, where more crew would be waiting for them, to haul the wounded to the ship.

Aye, sir. Rum is carried in the Galley, I believe. Go and get yerself some. I don't need anymore, I guess. I'm just going to wait for the Captain to get back, and hopefully save yer sorry life from the clutches of the Captain. *Since the Doctor had saved her life, she had to repay him in the least by at least TRYING to argue his mutiny from the Captain. Though, with the Captain being deaf, it would prove difficult.*

"I must stay sober I'm afraid. In any case, I knew what I was doing. I fully accept the responsibility and consequences for my actions. If you want to be of help to me, see that the crew who assissted me are not harmed."
Dr. Baxter stared off into the distance for a few mintutes thinking to himself. He thought of his life of vagrancy and gave a brief smile. If he was to die today as a mutineer, he would do so satisfied.
He looked inland once more and saw activity on the beach. It would not be long before there were more wounded to deal with. He started to go back down below when he tripped on the quarterdeck. He turned around to find the woman he had caught in his quarters. She was passed out with a clinch of pain still visible in her face. No doubt knocked out by Miss Ares' siren scream.
He rummaged around in his pouch and produced some salts. He held them under her nose and waited for them to take affect. 'Curious,' he thought. 'Not long ago the Captain had to do this for me.'

*nods* The crew that helped you shall not be harmed, because they're my gun crew. I don' know what made them think to turn agains' the Captain in the first place, but I can tell you they'll be doin' some hard labor for a while.... *she thinks of the least amount of punishment that her crew and the good doctor could get.* But, I'll help you out anyway. You saved my life, I'll save yours, savvy?

Turning from the shackled woman while still holding salts under her nose, he spoke to Ares.
"What you do is your decision. As to what made the men turn against the Captain. I don't think they did. I think they were acting only because they wanted to help the Captain, as did I. There is something wrong with him, and he won't let me treat his wounds. He is putting himself in an unnecessary risk."

*smirks slightly and winces as she shifts her weight* We all put ourselves at risk, Doctor. You put yourself at risk with the mutiny, even if you had good intentions for the Captain. The Captain puts himself at risk to make sure his crew is taken care of. *chuckles slightly, and put her hand to her abdomen because of the pain. She sighs and turns back to him* Well, risks are taken. That's what makes us pirates.

The doctor chuckled wryly. "So it would seem."
He had never considered himself a pirate yet. Sure he served on a pirate vessel, but he was a doctor. He had never thought much about what made a pirate a pirate. Ares words got him to thinking.

*As the ammonia fumes from the salts irritated her nose and lungs, she jolted awake, gasped and her eyes opened in shock, looking around wildly. Still expecting the woman who was shreiking before to still be screaming violently, she instinctively attempted to cover her ears, but still within shackles, she was unable to do so. *
"What in the blazes....?" she yelped as she looked over at the woman sitting on the deck again, only now she was wrapped in bandages talking calmly with the Doctor.
"Oh my, I must have been out a while" she looked around thinking as she realized the one bringing her back from being passed out was the Doctor. She straightened up a little and looked around again. Still confused, she looks to the Doctor. Knowing only him on the boat, despite the fact he was the one who shackled her, she looked to him for an explaination*
"What the hell just happened to me?"

Baxter turned his head around to see that the woman had come to. He put his salts away and stood up.
"My best guess, you were caught off gaurd when Miss Ares let out her siren scream, and you passed out from the sound."

*she looked over to the same woman on the deck in bandages and rubbed her wrists around the shackles. She tried to dust herself off cursing about what a bother the shackles were and looking like a fool not being able to cover her ears. Frustrated and without thinking, she said the first thing that came to her mind when she turned back to Miss Ares after the Doctor explained what happened.*
"I'll remember not to piss you off..." and under her breath, "... or consider stealing your stuff either..." Her eyes bugged out a little as she rolled her eyes slightly but looked to the deck instead of at Miss Ares for fear she'd let out her siren scream again, directed right at her for snapping at her, a total stranger.
*She blew a few stray curls out of her face before looking back to the Doctor. Reluctantly she began to ask the Doctor what was to happen next*
"Is there more... I need to do now, Doctor?" she said still in her somewhat sarcastic tone.
*She was a bit more greatful considering he didn't just dump her over the side while unconscious. Afterall, she did go rummaging through his footlocker. At the end of this realization, she ended the comment with a slight grimmace of humbleness that crossed her face. She wasn't pleased with the prospect, but she was fairly sure her chores were long from over.
Coming up from just below deck, the crewman ordered to keep an eye on her, returned to the quarterdeck.*
"Sorry sir! Wen Mz Ares screamed, I covered me own ears and went below deck..."pointing to her as he continued, "She'd been knocked out by Mz Ares, so I worked below deck ta tend ta other thin's seein' as she was out" he looked at the Doctor apologeticly as he explained.

"Great. Due to my actions, I now have little control over th ship. Afterall, they aren't going to follow the orders of a mutineer." Baxter grumbled to himself in a disheartening tone.
"That's fine," he said aloud. Finding himself unable to think of anything else for the woman to do. He turned to Miss Ares. "You shall do as she instructs," he said nodding in Ares' direction. "I'm sure Miss Ares can think of plenty for you to do."
He figured this was for the best. Afterall, Ares wasn't considered a mutineer, so that made her in charge as the highest ranking crew member aboard the Lady. Although he was sure she outranked him even if he hadn't committed his betrayal. He resigned himself to doing what he came aboard to do in the first place, and that was to tend to peoples wounds.

-Finally arriving to the ship, he helped his injured men out to the medical deck. He told the others to help out as well. He search for the medical deck. He had never been there before so he was just guessing. He called out for a doctor or the captain. It appeared that everyone was in the quarters.-
"Doctor! Captain! We have returned, but with a few missing and some injured. Your assisstance is needed!"

*Ares raised her brow at the young girl's mutterings. She started to chuckle, but quickly stopped when she realized howmuch it hurt her to.* It probably is not a good idea to piss me off, seeing as I am the Weapons Specialist aboard the Lady. That, and I am a siren. *she lowered her tone a bit* As for stealing my things, there's not way, lass. You may think you have the skills of a theif, but I know you're just an amateur. You should do some learnin' on the ship as well... *she sat back and took some thought into what she wanted the girl to do next.* Well, I suppose you can just take a load off now. Just sit back, because I can't very well unshackle you to help the patients, because I don' know exactly what got you shackled in the first place. So, for now, just sit and enjoy the sunshine and the sea breeze. *she smiled at the girl* But, you might want to get yer ears checked out. They seem to be bleedin'....
