No action figures at Target or Walmart. They had plenty of batman/spiderman/ironman. They even had a few GL John Stewarts. I was very disappointed.
Brian got stuff (30 rock DVD season and Supernatural) but no fun stuff for ME this time. Boooo. Lame. It was also hard getting there. It was raining, windy and the roads were so wet, I felt like I was hydroplaning all over the place. Gah. The drive home was fairly dry at least

I would, but Brian would have to buy it and I'd feel guilty forcing him to order just for one thing like that. Of course, there are other things I want too but.. xp

Ms. Selina Kyle I'm looking to get a nice pair of headphones, anyone have any recommendations? I need them to be pretty outside sound resistant and comfortable, and >$50. No earbuds. I love my Eskuche's something fierce. I got lucky though and found them on clearance at Urban Outfitters for $10 after Christmas. I think most good mid-range headphones these days retail about $60 confused

Koss SB/45. I own a pair, and while there is a microphone attached (that I personally never use) the sound coming from the headphones is pretty darn good.

They're a bit big for travel. The mic is a bit of a no for me too, not just because I wouldn't use it, but because it would get in the way while I'm working. They make a collapsable pair, don't suppose you know anything about those?

Whenever I hear the word "headphones", I think of those Dr. Dre ones we sell on HSN. I'm sure those are way overpriced given the "brand". I don't know crap about headphones.
I think I've given up on the action figure quest. It's not practical, not sold near me and there are too many Lois/Clark/Black canary, etc etc to choose from. I'll just stick to my Clarice for now. Everything's making me crabby today. I think one of the big things that's weighing on me today is the fact that at the Doctor's on Wednesday, she was talking about lady things and said "what it's doing now is a bit abnormal but you are NORMAL now because I took the bad stuff out of you" Funny. I'm not normal. I mean, it's working which is the important thing but it's not working in a normal person's particular way. I dunno. Don't want to post it here. Guys don't wanna read about that stuff. [/emo]

I tried out a pair of Beats by Dre at the Apple Store a while back and they are actually damn good. I generally stick to my big a** Sonys though.

Saturday - Went to Toronto for Wizard World. Guest list surprisingly lame, but a few decent people, including Gail Simone, Phil Jiminez, Cameron Stewart, Adi Granov and that p***k from Survivor who lied about having a dead Grandma. Bought LOADS (thought I was going to have hernia with that backpack) and got all my Secret Six/Villains United/Birds of Prey/Extremis/etc. signed. Was going to commission for a Yanick Paquette sketch of Spider Jerusalem, but I figured he's at all the cons in Toronto, and I was too tired. Highlight - the guys assholes who run the opposing comic-con showed up, had a word with the owner and left. Not two minutes later, the fire alarm goes off. I'm not saying it was definitely them, just that they've tried to run this comic-con out of business for years before Wizard bought it, going to far as to threaten guests and retailers. Also, they are apparently being charged for it, so there's that. They're pissing in their own soup, so to speak, because not only did they ******** over a building full of customers, most of whom also attend their cons, but also a room full of local GUESTS who also attend their con. If I was someone like Leonard Kirk or Cameron Stewart who shows up to all their events, and I had to get up from whatever commission I was working on and stand out in the cold for half an hour because they're childish, unprofessional douchebags, you bet your a** I wouldn't go to their next con. Of course, as an attendee, I kind of have to, since they announced the guest of honor the same day - Stan Lee.
Sunday - Went back to Toronto for a concert. Hung around most of the day, buying various things. (JCVD, finally.) Saw Against Me! do an acoustic set at a radio station, and was predictably blown away, since they're in my top 5 favorite bands right now. Later that night I saw them, Cancer Bats, (yawn) Alexisonfire and Billy Talent. Loved each and every one. So, since the universe apparently appreciates everything evening out, when I left, the bus home was full and we had to wait in the bus terminal for an hour to catch the next one. I got home at 1:30am. So worth it.

Just got back from the Doctor's office. You know.. just when you think you've got it all under control, they take your blood and before you can leave, they tell you "Oh, we need to talk to you in the Nurse's office. There is nothing quite like having a little bomb placed in your lap. I feel like I'm in a nightmare and can't wake up. I haven't the foggiest idea how much more of this crap I can take. I need a hug or something to talk to, but I am lame and can have neither.
FMLx1000 crying
I really want to be dead right now. It would be funny if I was kidding. I so just don't care anymore.
