WoW was created based on a story... that was turned into games which turned into WoW. (The storyline for wow is already written out so much they have the next 10 expansions planned if needed.)

they do, I've read most of them pretty good reads in my opnion, well the thing is I play WoW and you can dislike it all you want, but I won't allowed it to be trashed and it's players trashed as well, I shall defends my brothers and sisters of WoW both the majority sane and the minority insane.

Malfrost Stormold WoW does have a story... it's called Warcraft... not World of Warcraft. a whole separate set of games for that stuff but they are the exact same universe, and yes WoW does have a story if you play through it. WoW is NOT the best non-shooter right now. There are plenty of FREE MMORPG's that are better in my opinion. Besides, who could forget City of Heroes/Villains and Everquest? C:

C: Or other actually GOOD games that you don't pay for monthly. :3 such as private servers or non-PC games -cough cough- @Malfrost: It is the WoW universe, but the back story is so weak you can completely ignore it. However, in other games, such as Warcraft 3, you follow a campaign with a highly intertwined storyline. Now, I'm not bashing on the game or the players... I'm just stating facts.

I don't really get the point of WoW; and if by the rare chance that I DO play a video game, I'd only want to play it, if there was a story behind it, AND an end to the game.
There's no point to World of Warcraft.

There arn't any laws against killing freaky animals that are aggressive, nor undead things. However, killing giant monsters is cool, but I can do that on free games.

Lance Fulgurant world of warcraft does have a story, and it does have an endgame, there's just not a game over or anything point is, the game is retarded, get a life Lance! scream
