*Mercy smiled and returned his kiss lightly* "You would not lay your life down for me then?..........hmmmmmmmmmmm" *she looked at him trying her hardess to hide then pain in her eyes then brought her hand to backhand him... faltering she stopped and looked at him glaring* "You know Rayne.." *she said this so sweet* "for the first time you have actually made me consider even consider using my power on you and i hope you never do it again." *She still held a sweet look on her face and a little twinkle in her eye but anyone could feel the evil aura omitting from her*

its more or less a curse that prevents us from mating... but here i stand, the product of my father and mother.... i am sure they say it to scare the small crusnik children. However, my lust towards you will never cease even if my life ceases.

Barsthed... that's the one only the gods and my ansistors know... long ago, the crusnik race was dying off, because they were feared by man an vampire alike, they had joined forces to slay us. our people fought the Humans but refused to fight the Vampires, thier kin and food source. the gods stopped the war and we were put forever in their debt. now, whenever a new Crusnik is converted, the gods take an old one in exact exchange....
