Ariku smiled.
"It's quite all right... I enjoy learning new things. But, has someone ever actually crumbled stone or brought down a method in this manner? I mean to destory something like that must really take a lot of energy." she said looking from the cup of tea to him.

Yuka listens intently to the conversation Ariku is having and tries to grasp everything the man is saying to store it away for future conversations. Everyone else seemed so much at ease and she only hoped she would one day.

"Not so much a lot of energy, but more along the lines of a low frequency vibration. Something that would produce a sound that low is unfathomable. It would destroy a larger part of the earth if it ever existed." He said with a small laugh

Ariku thought for a moment.
"But that is quite impossible now. There is no way we would be able to pull that off," she laughed. "I couldn't imagine what would happen if a sound such a that did exist. I mean that would the perfect war weapon." she said.

Hirose stood up and looked at Tora. "I'm gonna go outside and get some air. I'll be back in a few minutes." He bowed politely before stepping outside the teahouse. He sat down against the wall and took a deep breath. "Dammit, Hirose," he cursed himself inwardly, "why couldn't I tell Tora that I love her? Alright, I'm going to tell her but.. how?"

Tora's heart beat quickly as she watched him leave. Without thinking, she immediately stood up and followed him. Tora reached the front door to the tea house and slowed her pace. "Hi-kun?" she asked tentatively. "A-are you okay?" she added, placing a hand on his shoulder. Tora was about to go home before Hirose left for outside, but she sat beside him to comfort him, if he needed it, instead. She shivered slightly in the late-night air.

She looked from her tea cup to Shagatsu.
"Yeah, I understand what you are saying... It is a little, well, uncomfortable, to around others who are in love." she said and smiled.

Tohru's eyes softened as she gazed into her tea cup. "Well...for me...I just feel a little...lonely..." she answered quietly.
Her mind drifted to Haruki and the fact that he still hadn't returned. She slowly sipped her tea, wishing she could fight off the feeling of loneliness.

"It may possibly be jealosy, who knows. I think it may be because you all have someone. All I have are broken ties." He said with a chuckle. "It makes me wonder why I stay in this small town, if not for the joy of your company, I would most likely leave."

Hirose looked over at Tora and smiled shyly. He tried to speak but found it hard to at first. "Tora-san, I'm ok, just.. I know that you're in love with me, I honestly do. Just I don't know how to say that I love you ba---" He started to blush profusely before bowing his head lightly. "Well, I did say it. I'm in love with you too, Tora-san, just.. I'm still kind of shy as hell when you think about it."

Tora's heart skipped and she began to cry and giggle at the same time. "Oh, Hi-kun!" she blushed, wiping tears from her face. "I-I'm so glad you feel the same way! I was so scared after my sudden outburst I'd scared you away." Tora smiled lovingly at him. "The best way is forward and not around the bush." She looked over her shoulder into the tea house at Shagatsu. "I made that mistake once, but never again!" She turned back to Hirose and flung herself into him in a hig hug. "I'm so happy!" she squeeked. "Um... I was just about to go home. W-would you mind walking me?" she asked shyly.

Hirose caught Tora in a huge hug before taking her hand in his. "Tora-chan, I'd be honored to walk you home and if you want me to stay with you, then I will stay." He smiled gently yet shyly as he looked into her eyes.

Tora frowned at him and kissed his had as she said, "Dear Hi-kun, as much as I'd like, men aren't allowed in the okiya unless...," she blushed, "It's to talk to mother about becoming a geisha's danna." There was a moment when her face couldn't get any redder. "Erm... we... we pass the inn on the way to my okiya, so I'll point it out to you and you may stop back by there for lodging," Tora added in an embarrased rush. She bowed to him and smiled, standing up. "Shall we?" she asked. Tora's ice-blue eyes sparkled with a new found hope.
