*reads back a couple of pages* Okay, I take it back. Alex sounds like a Vulcan, not a Socialist. *lol* xd
Edit: Except for the part where they refuse all emotion completely. Hmm, maybe more like a Romulan? I don't know. I think I just need to shut up.

Unknown Variable Also, I believe if everybody in the world were logical thinkers as I am, then there would be no war, no crime, no violence, no bad in the world. depends on how you define logic. even if two individuals are both perfectly logical, they will arrive at various disagreements. we just have to keep in mind that everybody has different perspectives and experiences, nothing is pure black and white, and there are very, very few things in the world right now that we can be sure of. my career involves too much logical thinking, and i have seen far too many dynasties of scholars, people who think logically, argue about everything. and it would be fair to say all of them have valid points. i mean, people still don't agree on how to define emotion, let alone similarity. actually, people don't even agree on what is knowledge. edit add: if you ask metallurgists, people who have spent their lives studying metal, how to define metal, they will have different definitions. heck, people don't even know how to define planet and argue whether pluto is a planet. i'm sorry, that was just my soapbox. logic does not equal utopia.

cardi and i killed the thread gonk . *shuts up* *hugs* Sorry hun, I got caught up with something off Gaia XD;; And you have a very valid point as well, further proving that there will always be differances among the human socity, regardless of a logical, sound mind. But then Alex's idea that if people were more logical, then there would be a drastic drop of stupitity in certain reckless situations, like sudden fits of rage just because some cut them off on the highway. I seem to think that is there were less senseless displays of emotion like rage and jealousy, things would be better off.

Quote: My mums recipie: Butter Tarts 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup corn syrup 3 tbls soft butter 1 egg beaten 1 tsp vanilla 1/8 tsp salt 1/2 cup raisins Combine throughly sugar, corn syrup and butter. Add egg, vanilla, salt and raisins. Fill tart shells 2/3 full of mixture. Bake at 425F for 8 min. Lower heat to 350F and continue baking until filling is set and pastry is baked, 15-20 min. What I use to do is instead of putting the raisins in the mix I would put them directly into the shells. That way there was always an even amount in the tarts. Just use frozen tart shells. To make your own is very difficult...I don't make my own tart shells! Just remember that you don't prebake the shells. You bake them once they are full. And use a muffin pan to hold the shells it is much easier that way. If you don't have a muffin pan use a cookie sheet to put them on while baking. Good luck and let me know how they turn out. They're soooo good.
